When we arrived we were ignored for a while since all of the employees were grooming dogs with headphones on. At some point a man came out and helped us out but it was hard to hear each other over the very loud noise inside. He clearly saw our cat and seemed very confused while he was looking for our appointment but still had us sign the waiver and took our kitty to the back. He told us it would be 2 hours for the grooming which we didn't mind. About 10 minutes later we get a call from a woman at Premier Paws saying that they only groom cats on the first Saturday of the month and we'd have to come back to get our kitten. She then asks if we scheduled our appointment online and we told her no, we actually spoke to an employee who scheduled us for that Monday at 11am. Very confused on what happened with the scheduling and why the gentleman that checked us in didn't say anything about them not grooming cats that day. He seemed like he didn't know what he was doing at all and appeared like he just woke up from a nap so that should have been the first red flag. All they could say is that we "missed" the cat grooming day since it had only been a couple days prior. Well shoot, might have been nice to know when we called to schedule an appointment for our kitten. My husband even confirmed he told them first thing we had a cat, not a dog. Will not be returning here. After reading all of the other low star reviews I'm happy we didn't go through with their services. The owner/manager appears to give passive aggressive responses to anyone giving a low rating also. So we'll see what her excuse is for our poor experience.

From getting my pups groomed I've never had an issue and I know they take some time if they get tangles so I know it takes time ! Groomers should be more appreciated! All that client wanted was a free groom and guess what she got it because the owner is a coward and hates to see bad reviews well lady you got it now ! Due to a serious accident leaving I-24 closed all traffic was diverted to US Hwy 41 - the only route to take to this groomer. When he didn't arrive at 9:00 the groomer texted me at 9:01am asking if we had forgotten about the appointment. I texted back that my husband was on his way and should have been there by now - not realizing that the traffic was backed up. I called him and he explained that he was only 1 mile from her house and should be there in a couple of minutes. This would put him there about 5 minutes late. I texted the groomer to tell her but she texted back that she would not have enough time to groom our dog because of this 5 minute delay. That is totally absurd. 5 minutes? She must schedule her appointments so close together that it leaves no room for situations like this. I realize that time is money but really? I will be finding another groomer for sure.
