(COVID-19 REVIEW)…read more Indigo Vintage is a quaint clothing store in Downtown Santa Cruz. There's lot of clothing options to choose from such as: vintage shorts, mini skirts, graphic tees, retro jackets / corduroys, crew necks, patchwork, baby tees, summer dresses, and pants! There are definitely hidden gems that you could get here at a decent price from big brands like Levis and Lee's. For example, I saw a pair of Beige Straight legged Levi's being sold for $48 and that was a huge mark down compared to a $120 white of Levi's I saw in the front of the store! I really did like how there were multiple brands / small businesses that were being supported as I looked through the racks. Everything was super trendy, so it was hard to not pick up a few pieces. There were a couple of fitting rooms that are open, which was a huge plus considering most of the items you'll buy would be an investment. The CDC standards probably opened up a bit more since vaccinations are rolling out for a large age group. The two girls that were working at the store were super nice and welcoming to all the people that were coming in to the store. Asking them to open a room was no problem since the store was on the smaller end. Overall, I would recommend people to come by and check this place out! Although it's more of a fancy way of "thrifting", the experience makes up for it.

I had a lot of fun looking around the store and seeing all the interesting, cool clothing items they sold. I wish I could've bought everything they had to be honest. They have great brands and the prices, while a little steep, are pretty standard for resold vintage clothing. This store is also a woman-owned small business in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz! What more could you want???

I wasn't planning on really buying anything but then I found some good loot. Was going to be like 1-2 things at first, but quickly ballooned to like 20 items kids went wild over the hellokitty items (we did too too secret though so don't tell anybody). It was good stuff and good prices. Fitting rooms were tidy had 2 small hooks worked out for stuff brought in stuff that was tried on, and doors have a lock I'm sure key opens but at least psychological comfort lol. Special shout out to Bonnie very helpful. Also there's a barcode at the front can do a Google review for 10% off it just kept trying to login into my school account I don't like using my legal name lol, but it was fine.

I was basically ignored by the 2 girls working here until I accidentally walked through their work space and was told to leave this area. It looks like the rest of the store, in the front near where you'd check out. I found their merchandise to be pretty pricy more than Goodwill. They only have clothes and shoes with a very tiny selection of jewelry. The only sale items I found were outside on a clothing rack which were only 25% off the original price. Nothing 50% off. I was the only customer there. Definitely not the best prices in town, if you want that go to the thrift center around the corner. Now that they've moved next door into a larger space it's much nicer. This time I was greeted but it's still really expensive here. Used Levi jeans were $50.00! And 4 vintage Pyrex cups were $25 .00.

The payouts are very similar to what i've gotten from other buy sell trades, price per item wise, but I was able to sell significantly more here than I have elsewhere. The selection for shoppers here is amazing and their vintage and high end prices blow all the other second hand shops out on Pacific out of the water, will definitely sell & shop here again! Full of gems and the staff are chillers!

I had a really disappointing experience with this store and feel the need to warn others…read more I brought in several vintage and valuable items, including an MCM purse that was carefully stored in its dust bag. When I picked up my items that weren't accepted, my purse was thrown in with the clothes without the dust bag I originally provided. When I asked about it, I was told it had been "misplaced." I've called multiple times trying to resolve this, and the responses have been inconsistent and frustrating. One employee said the person handling the items didn't know where it was, and later I was told that a dust bag was never brought in, which is simply not true. I specifically showed them the bag in its dust cover when I dropped it off. As someone who values designer items, this level of carelessness and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Whether the dust bag is valued at $10 or more, that's not the point, the issue is how this situation has been handled. I've asked to speak with a manager and am still waiting for proper follow up. Unfortunately, this experience felt dismissive and dishonest. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before bringing in valuable or designer items here.
