Terrible service we were seated at the bar top tables and our waiter never showed up. Finally my husband went to the bar to at least order our drinks. He told the bartender that our waiter never came and she said well yea it's that time of day, your waiter is probably on break. Mind you there is only two other tables and their was another waiter taking care of the other tables. The hostess and wait staff were just sitting in a room. Terrible. Ordered some food, beer and a Basil Hayden bourbon on the rocks. When we got our bill I noticed an extra $2 charge for ice. When I questioned the charge I was told that it was for an extra ounce of pour over ice. Drinks that are not on ice get 2 ounces of pour. Whoever, the BS (bat shit) manager in charge who's responses were, The customer is not always right. So this is all about you wanting your 2 dollars back. Don't come back here anymore. Do you think all these people work for free here. Darling Maggie, your just crazy and need to get out of the food business. One of the worst meals ever :( Went there as a friend recommended stated burgers were good. I had a beer on tap that was warm I only drank about 1/4 to half. Burger was over salted I didn't want roll or lettuce and tomato got vegetables instead. Burger was on huge pile of lettuce and dripping w grease. Vegetables were cold and dripping in grease as well. I took one small but pushed food away. Waitress never asked if everything ok only if I wanted to wrap it. I stated I didn't got bill and left. I will not be returning. I would give this less than one star - Waitress/Bartender was more consumed with wiping the bottles at 8pm then making sure customers were attended to or how there meal was. read more

We stopped in the other night. Waited 25 minutes for a table. That was fine. Sat down and waited 5 to 10 minutes before our server approached. He took our entire order at once. Took them 15 minutes to get our drinks. They had so many employees walking around doing nothing. Basically only one bartender trying to get out all the drinks. Food was really good but took too long. Server forgot all about the soup we ordered. Spent two hours for a Burger and a beer. This place could be incredible if the staff was better trained and they had more help behind the bar. I've been in the alcohol industry for 30 years but and I've never seen help operate so poorly. I would go back again but can't spend that much time just to have dinner. read more

Sub par at best. Burgers are flat and dry. Drinks are overpriced considering the brands. Skip the lobster Mac & cheese specialty. It was much too cheesy, burned around the the edges, and the lobster was rubbery. The bread was cold and stale. Not worth the 25 minute wait to be seated. read more

The new hot spot in Wayne And believe me Wayne Needed it! First let me say it's a visually stunning restaurant When you walk in to the doors you walk into a rustic warm feeling of excitement! Lively music playing soft lighting and a warm fire place to take the chill off! Excellent Food we had the Broccoli Bites and Loaded Frys and the Tex Mex Egg Rolls the flavor was excellent on all three! Crispy egg rolls filled with chicken and corn and beans with homemade guacamole. Broccoli bites were cheesy and crispy. I Had the BBQ Cheddar Burger cooked Medium Rare and the temperature was a true med rare. If you want well done you will wait the burgers are huge and hand made but definitely worth the wait My friend had the Ribs they were fall off the bone tender the loaded baked potato is AWESOME! Now drinks they were right on target They Have their own Drink menu with Exciting new drinks. Moscow Mules in Peach, Raspberry and cranberry. 25 beers on tap perfect for you beer heads! Amazing food. We started with the jalapeno poppers and fried calamari and ended with the skirt steak with sweet potato fries, and my girlfriend had a Ruben with French fries. Our first impression was that the place was very busy and we learned they do not take reservations, which is a sign of good things in my book. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be around 30 min so we grabbed a drink at the bar that surprisingly had a decent beer selection. My girlfriend had a Captain Morgan and coke and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We were sat in the main dining room in about 20 min, despite being so busy the host was very accommodating and our server did an excellent job even though she had a lot of tables. Being in the industry, the only negative I could take out of our experience was that they could have had a couple more servers to take care of such the large crowd, other than that the food was great, the drinks were strong and we will definitely be coming back! read more

Went to Maggie's for the first time last night. We waited an hour and ten minute to be seated. After that we ordered a pitcher of sangria for 5 people. Our waiter said that would only get us three or four glasses, so we should order another one. After about a 30-45 minute wait for our drinks he came back with 2 a huge pitchers. Each pitcher easily poured 5 glasses, so we were upset with how much we had been advised to order. Maybe it was a comment on the quantity of alcohol to ice the waiter was referring to, because it was incredibly watered down. Additionally, we spent an hour and 30 minutes waiting for our food order. We watched other tables come and go while we sat there with no food. Our waiter never once checked on us to give us the status of our food or even refill our waters. Finally, we asked to speak with the manager. She seemed initially apologetic, saying that another table with a nearly identical order must have gotten our food. She said she would be comping our night. After talking to her our food was out in five minutes. It was average at best. At the end of the night our inattentive waiter said he'd bring us the check. He brought us a check for the drinks, but we asked to speak with the manager again since she said everything would be comped. After a struggle to track her down, she very rudely asked us in shock if we wanted the drinks comped too. All in all it was rude service for a long wait for mediocre food. Not worth it. read more

Wow - Maggie and her family really out did themselves here. Beautiful new restaurant, modern and comfortable. Food was delicious, prices are very reasonable and service was spot on. i went here a couple weekends ago for the first time and really liked it! i've never been to the original location so my review is based only on the wayne location. great beer selection that's reasonably priced. my friends and i all ordered different burgers and we all agreed they were really good. plus they come with fries, cole slaw, and a pickle which is great. (the curly fries are awesome, get them!) also, they open up the doors in the bar area when the weather is nice so the fresh air and sunlight comes in! really nice place, good food, and love the decor ! read more

Worst service by server Alex. If you get this bimbo blonde server ask for a new place to sit. She flirted with my husband the whole time and would only make eye contact with him. Was really disappointed! We arrived around 8:40pm on Saturday night with a 20 minutes wait. That's average not bad. We got seated we ordered water, while we looked through the menu. Our waiter came back to our table and goes "your food will be out shortly... wait did I take your order?" We told him no we ordered a burger and Chicken Marsala. We were waiting waiting and waiting by 45 minutes we were getting annoyed. The waiter came to the table 3 times "the food will be right out" 10 minutes pass 15 20 25 30 minutes at that point it had been an hour and 15 minutes. When I look over the people who were behind us waiting for seats were already almost done with their food I was done. I told my boyfriend to get up we're leaving. We got up went to the front I told the hostess we've been waiting for and hour and 15 minutes for food and we're not paying. Only thing she said was "what table were you at?" I told her where the table was she didn't offer to get a manger or anything to help compensate what had happened. Bad wait service and bad customer service. Wouldn't recommend coming here. This is the second time going here. I went a week after they opened and the service was terrible so I thought I would give them a second try. Well it was even worse. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our appetizer. When I said something to the waitress she went to check on it and told me they burned the first order and would have to redo it and that is why it was so long. When I pointed out that the people two tables away sat 30 minuets after me and were already done with their dinner she tried to make up more excuses. It took another 30 minutes to get our meal. At the end she offered us a free dessert but at that point I had been there 2 hours and didn't want to wait another 30 for dessert. I would have spoke to the manager but my friend was too embarrassed. The food was okay but nothing I would rave about. read more

Went here on the recommendation of a friend and it was great. We went on a Saturday night so restaurant was busy and there was a 30 minute wait. Once we were seated service was good. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Restaurant was loud so I would say it is good for Kids. Food was also good. I had the absolute BEST dinning experience at Maggie's this past Saturday night. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the food is great and our server, Anthony was hands down one of the best servers we have had at any restaurant in a very long time. We were a party of 6 and Anthony treated us as if we were the only table he had (and trust me he had many! The place was packed!) He was beyond personable, extremely attentive, and knowledge in all areas. He made our dinning experience one to remember. The food was excellent as well! My entire party was beyond pleased from start to finish. The ribs are a must!! The wings are great too and the burgers were cooked to perfection. For those that love beer - they have an awesome selection of beers on tap that change daily! - they also have great cocktails and a wine list for those who are like me :) I can't wait to return and I highly encourage those who have not been, GO! Best ribs in five states. From KY and Cincinnati and the ribs are such an excellent blend of citrus and vinegar. Truly a blend of KC and Memphis rib flavors it's crazy! Truly fall off the bone ribs and excellent side combos. Server's knowledge around local and national bourbons is unmatched. This is a must stop for anyone close. read more

Dined here recently for the first time. I grew up in Wayne, actually right down the street from the restaurant and while I was hoping to get a good meal, the nostalgia had just as much appeal. Just a note on that, when you enter the main dining area in the back, there is a huge, very weathered sign on the wall for "Wayne Steak House". As some may know this restaurant was the old China Paradise Chinese restaurant in Wayne for the last 50 years or so before it was demolished and Maggies was built. During the construction, the "Wayne Steak House" sign was found under the China Paradise structure and the new owners learned the restaurant originally opened in late 40s/early 50s as the Wayne Steak house and the sign was torn down and buried when the building was remodeled to become China Paradise. And we really enjoyed our meal. I simply had a cheeseburger and fries and the burger was top quality and cooked to perfection. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal too and the service was excellent. The decor is kind of like modern rustic and very comfortable. We will definitely be back. read more

Major Hostess issue. You guys give out buzzers that I've yet to have go off. Bar staff is amazing, too bad you guys lost a great Bartender in Al. Wait staff in the dining rooms are good however the bar area wait staff is atrocious. Don't expect them to help you unless you flail your arms at them from across the room. I love this local place but the service makes it harder and harder to go back. A few of the managers are really cool but there's one guy that is very rude and will almost always close the place down early. The Brunette hostess is totally incompetent and can't do her job correctly. She was extremely rude when we asked her to seat us at an open table to which she insisted wasn't empty. Low and behold we waited 15 min for the manager to come ask her why nobody was sitting at that table and we got seated after waiting about 25 min for absolutely no reason. I'm gonna keep giving this place chances for now because some of the staff is awesome but seriously get better guys! read more

My husband and I have had several delicious dinners at Maggie's since the Wayne location opened. Each entree we have tried has been very good. The service is always good. We just returned from an early New Year's Eve dinner. The prime rib special and the red snapper with scallops special were outstanding, as were the lemony chicken soup and seafood bisque. Our server, Jimena, was very attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is appropriate for adult dining or families with children. read more
