The placed was crowded but not too loud either. I saw all walks to life- families, couples, friends catching up, girls/guys night out, and so forth. The vibe was positive and they also played music. Our server was nice. She made us feel like we were her only customer. It was our first time, so she was also patient with us deciding on what to eat. Our food came out on time. The chicken sandwich was crisp and flavorful, with fresh vegetables and just enough salty bacon to round it out. The flatbread was crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and ideal for soaking up leftover garlic butter from the shrimp. Came here for lunch Saturday with my family for the first time. Beautiful restaurant with a hometown feel! They had a great beer selection and seasonal selections too. I loved the espresso martini I had! My husband got the country chicken salad and I got the chopped with grilled chicken. Very fresh and well made! My daughter got the kids meal mozz sticks and fries which were great! I want to say it came with 5-6 mozz sticks and a good amount of fries. Also included a drink and ice cream! Besides a few modified salads and the token veggie burger, there's not much exciting to eat. I've been a vegetarian since 1973, love to dine out but sometimes feel like screaming if I have to eat one more salad or test out the usually not-so-great veggie burger. There are so many options on the menu where you choose which protein you want to add---shrimp, chicken, beef. Why not add tofu or gardein products as veggie protein options? How about beans as an option for the tacos? It's cheap and easy and I think restaurants might be surprised to find how many patrons would choose plant-based options. read more

WOW so good!! Came for a wedding and every single bite was delicious! Absolutely loved the Caesar salad, chicken francese, short rib spring rolls... all so delicious! Dessert was also fantastic! Bread pudding was perfection - not too sweet and crisp on the outside (yum!), chocolate chip cookies were great, and the cheesecake was so fluffy with a delicious melt in your mouth graham cracker crust. Was hoping this place would be better went here on a Saturday during December. Very cute decorations and even the staff was wearing Christmas sweaters. It was very busy and glad we had a reservation and able to find street parking spot, because the entire lot was full. Everyone else loved their food so maybe I just picked wrong. I ordered the penne vodka, which was very oily. My assumption because the food came out VERY quick is that it was premade and when they reheated it, it got oily. Then for dessert I ordered the warm butter cake but it came out ice cold. So I was disappointed in the food. The service was very good though, very nice server but definitely felt rushed especially at the end. We had only been there for an hour and had apps, dinner and dessert. My husband and his brother wanted to order more drinks but the waitress brought our check out right away and even came back to pick it up quickly, so definitely felt like they wanted the table ASAP even though we only had been there a little over an hour at that point. I've have this restaurant book marked for some time and I am very happy I finally had the time to go. The place is very big with 3 rooms/sections. The bar area, the dining area which has a front area and a back area and then there's the covered deck area too. We sat in the covered deck and it was so cute out there. There was a fire pit in the middle of the deck and heated lamps on top, if it's too cold. For drinks, I ordered one of their seasonal drinks a Fig Martini, but as a virgin(Mocktini is what I called it). For dinner I ordered their Short Rib with Mash and season veggies. And let me tell you... the beef was so fork tender and delicious. My sister had a cheese burger and I snuck a bite or two and that was delicious too. Enjoyed two specials, a salad, and a meatball appetizer, which was delicious with fresh ricotta When we got there, it was quiet, but within an hour the place was full and very loud and noisy. If you are coming for the Christmas decorations, make sure you don't sit in the far section of the building. The gap in Christmas theme is wide. My family and I decided to order the Avocado bruschetta, which came with three pieces of toast. Instead of the tomatoes being diced up, they were just full baby tomatoes which exploded in my face when I bit in so be aware of that. Overall, it was pretty good with some personal culinary choices. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I think calling that chicken crispy is a very generous description. It tasted like something you can microwave from Shoprite. Sorry. The chicken was modestly breaded at best. This is one of those places that puts bacon on their sandwiches when bacon isn't in the name so if you have dietary restrictions, keep that in mind. The fries were good but the display felt a little cheap and half-done. The food is decent, the drinks are good, but it didn't blow me away and that's completely okay. I probably wouldn't make the 20 minute drive again, but if I lived closer I would likely go back and try something else. The service was fantastic. read more

Thought I left a review already whoops. I have recently been here twice. The first time was for a weekday lunch. It was delicious. I had some goat cheese arugula salad and it was perfect. My husband had some special steak wrap and loved it. The minor complaint was the dining room was ridiculously loud. We enjoyed our meal so much we took our child and in laws here for a weekend lunch. From the minute we sat down, there were flies at our table because the back was open for a party. Honestly, the flies made the meal unbearable. They kept trying to land on the food. My mother in law killed one with her napkin. The flies overshadowed how good the food was. When we told our waitress there was a serious fly problem, she said she knew. Ew. We had the calamari, wings and steak spring rolls for appetizers. Everything was delicious. My daughter had the mozzarella stick kid meal with fries. Overall everyone enjoyed the food, but couldn't enjoy the experience. 4 stars for the first meal here, 2 for the last. read more

Giving this place a 5 since we really has a good experience today celebrating my nephew's 3rd bday and his brother's first communion. We reserved a spot outdoors and it was perfect for this nice May weather. We loved that there was a privacy hedge and it was quite spacious. We didnt feel crowded in at all. Despite the busy day, service was very good. We were glad to be assisted by Aiden today as she was very polite, friendly and personable. All the appetizers came out great and I enjoyed my husbands order of mushroom burger lol my chicken panini was good but was a tad sour from the roasted pepper and pesto probably. It was good still tho but the burger was better. There is ample spots for parking and if it gets full the area is mostly residential so you get to park there too if necessary. Great place with an inviting sunny outdoor area & a rustic interior with lots of wood & brick. The entrance was hard to find; we walked in the back door by the outdoor dining area. Make a reservation if you want the sunny outdoor seating; we got there at 4:40 on a Saturday night & couldn't get a seat in the sunny area so we sat at the bar. There is another outdoor area with a tent but not as inviting as the other outdoor space. Great drinks! I had a perfect dirty GG & my husband enjoyed a rye drink.
