I have a written email quote from Precision Tint explicitly stating: 'you're looking at about 699.00 total' for ceramic tint and removal. Despite this written agreement, the shop manually entered a $900.00 'Custom Amount' plus tax on my receipt, totaling $983.25. This is a blatant violation of California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9, which prohibits charging a penny over a written estimate without a new, signed authorization. It is also a violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) regarding deceptive 'Bait and Switch' pricing. Charging nearly $1,000 for window tint on a small 4-door car is ridiculous. There is nothing 'prestige' or luxury about this service that justifies a 40% markup over their own written quote. The shop ignored three separate formal attempts to resolve this billing error. Formal complaints have been filed with appropriate entities. Hopefully, this saves others the headache of being overcharged. Shady business practices, please avoid. If you choose to do business here make sure to do so, at your own risk, as everyone's experiences may vary.

Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

Unfortunately, I curbed the wheels to my car. My car has chrome wheels, which are tough to fix. I contacted other shops and they either gave me really expensive quotes or they said that they don't have the expertise to fix them at all. Elevance is my savior because they were able to fix it for a reasonable price and did an excellent job. Alongside that, my husband also curbed the rims of his car a few times and they were also able to fix those as well! I'm hoping we don't curb anymore rims, but if we do, I definitely know I can rely on Elevance to fix them.

He was extremely thorough and helpful in his explanations and submitted a competitive estimate immediately after our call. On the day I dropped my car off Marvel spent well over an hour going over the various options to confirm what I wanted, did not try to upsell me (even downsold me on one option). He kept me updated throughout the process and I picked up the car today and it looks gorgeous. Am really pleased with the results, and also with the follow-up. Am bringing the car back in two weeks for a first wash and (in the unlikely event) touchup, if necessary. They are very clear about maintenance/washing, annual shop visit, etc, and I feel comfortable that if there turn out to be any issues, they'll stand behind their work. Lesson learned you truly get what you pay for. This was my third time coming back to Signature Glass Tinting and once again they exceeded my expectations. They have a new location (at least new to me) which it seems they leveled up big time. Ryan and Reese provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Ryan was knowledgeable, professional and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured and even got me in sooner than I expected. I went with 20% XPEL XR Black on my 2026 Mercedes AMG GLE 53 to match my car and the tint looks incredible. The color blends almost perfectly with the OEM factory privacy glass giving the vehicle a clean, factory-installed appearance. One thing I really appreciate is their pricing. The quote they give you is the price you pay no extra charge for using a credit card, no surprise taxes added at the end and no hidden fees. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about other tint shops I've used in the past. The workmanship is top-notch, the customer service is exceptional and the experience reminds me why I keep coming back. They are out to rob you. Don't go to this place even if it's the only one in town. A bit of a complicated, yet not-so-complicated situation of mine. This began as a miscommunication between my father and I, but it ended as a reveal of the immoral and unethical business done by this place. I asked my father IF he could remove the tint to my car, just to include him in my car modifications. Soon, I would learn never to do this again. He misunderstood me as "Please go get my car tinted for me." He called me at the store to make sure the price was okay. I notified him that this was not what I wanted and I had found a place already. Continuing on speakerphone, I spoke to the owner as well and he tried to persuade me to continue with their business. Knowingly on SPEAKERPHONE, I told the both of them to leave the car alone and take it home. Seeing as they were both seeking my approval of the car, you would think that they would listen to the owner of the car, especially the business owner -- assuming there is ethical logic going through his head and a moral code he follows. Stubborn as my dad is and as shady as the business owner is, the transaction went through. The tint was done -- not to my liking and not even of good standard. There are bubbles more than a week after the job that have yet to expand and ruin. Such a poor job, its no wonder the reviews are from years ago. Anyhow, I went back and requested for them to simply remove the tint and confront the person who I talked to over the phone about their ill-mannered customer service and immoral code. Unfortunately, I had met with them and learned that they were the owner of the business and they refused to take off the tint unless for more money, despite the subpar tint job and their workmanship guarantee. Even though there is a replacement guarantee as well, I suggested for them to just take it off and not replace but he would not listen, despite the easier job. I cannot help but reveal that this behavior and motivations were based off sexist beliefs. Over the phone, he continued to bash on my knowledge of cars because I am a woman, even though I told him exactly the style I had wanted and the certain standard of material and work performance I wanted. He continued to agree with my father (horrible I know) to demean and refuse to listen to me over the phone. That is what makes this especially heinous and ill-willed, he knowingly defied my wishes for my car because he believed he knew better and would rather take advantage of the situation instead of being an honest business man. These beliefs were also shown to me when I went back for the tint to be removed. This is not the type of business we want in our friendly Long Beach community. I refuse to let this man represent how Long Beach businesses work, with his money-grubbing, sexist hands. Of course, I do not blame him for my father going there initially but under the circumstances he knew of, I blame him for letting the transaction happen at all. Nonetheless, I wanted to warn all of you to beware of the place as it reeks of absolute SHIT tint jobs and sexist men. I removed my tint myself, free of charge and without the so-called hard work the business owner said it was in comparison to taking off the tint and replacing it with an entirely new tint (what he suggested he can only do instead of taking off the tint). read more

I went to this place with high hopes after seeing the reviews, boy was I wrong. I walked in and told the first person i spoke to that I saw a great review on yelp, and that was why I was there. He seemed to care less. I said I needed a head unit installed and steering wheel controls, with tint. He quoted me $50 over price on a pioneer unit that Best Buy had across the street, with bluetooth and Aux. Then he quoted me $90 over on the steering wheel controls. I wanted an explanation, he said he didn't like what best buy uses so he said that's why his was more. I had 5 windows on my car and wanted a tint, Standard right....no whats with the $170 price. These guys r a joke. I spoke to eddie, yah he was nicer, but still just as useless in sales. These guys lack the ability to offer multiple solutions, and are solely focused on margins and making as much money as they can by any means possible. My total price at best buy with steering controls was 280 out the door. They quoted me 389 plus tax. For the same head unit and "their" steering controls. I've had two Viper alarm systems installed on my Acura NSX here, along with ceramic window tint, and every experience has been outstanding. The team is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and the quality of their work was top-notch. It's hard to find a shop you can truly trust with a car like an NSX, but these guys know what they're doing. The alarm installations were clean and reliable, and the ceramic tint came out perfect. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship really show in the finished product. I highly recommend Magic Auto Sound for alarm systems, tinting, and any other automotive electronics work. I brought my car to Magic Auto Sound to fix the front window tint that came with the vehicle, and they absolutely nailed it. They removed the old tint, re‑tinted both front windows, and the difference is huge -- the shade is finally just right instead of way too dark. The quality of the work is seriously impressive. I'm giving 4 stars only because the owner isn't the friendliest person you'll meet. But honestly... he does a heck of a job, and the results speak louder than his personality. Avoid this place at all costs. Owner is rude and seems to have an issue with Black people. Went in with a very simple issue. My system just needed to be rewired. He didn't even ATTEMPT to fix the problem. Just dismissed me and said "I don't know" and walked away. A good business would have at least TRIED. Not dismiss you because they don't like the color you happen to be. Have had other friends who have told me similar stories. If you are Black or appreciate good customer service AVOID THIS PLACE. I'm from Long Beach, so my first instinct was to duck and swivel around to check my windows. All the windows looked OK. But then I thought to check the sunroof - shattered on the front panel. I sent out some requests for quotes through Yelp! - unable to service, sorry we don't work on sunroofs, X10. Oh no. I have to go to the dealer for this? I called the dealer and sent over photos and video - "You'll need to bring it in for us to look at." Then Eddie responded. "Yeah, I think we can fix that. Let me see if I can find the glass." Sure enough, a little bit later, "I found it! The price will be XX." (The price was on the lower end of the Google AI range) In the meantime, the shattered glass was slowly collapsing into my headliner. "Can you do anything about that?" "Sure, no problem. We'll clean the glass out and tape in a cardboard insert." "THANK YOU! I'm driving around with a hole in my roof!" I went out there and met Eddie - and his Dad who started the business many years ago. They were busy - and efficient. Within 20 minutes I had a new temporary cardboard sunroof. I paid a deposit, they ordered the glass, and the following week installed it for me. After a few adjustments, it's like brand new. And I got to see how busy they are - I guess word gets around. The business is run by Eddie, his dad, and his brother. A family-owned, multi-generational business. I would recommend International Auto Glass to anyone that asks. Thank you, Eddie!

On instagram they promoted/offered a deal saying $150 for all 7 windows, but when I got there they said "nothing was said about that, it's $150 for only 4 windows and another $150 for the windshield." I was really bummed because I felt scammed and lied to. Also, the owner seemed annoyed that another customer(me) came in, I understand it's stressful but why accept appointments if you didn't wanna do it. I agreed to getting it done anyway since it was fairly cheap even though I was lied to. I waited 20 min just for them to tell me the tint guy called off so they couldn't do it anymore. I made the appointment a over week ago and drove 35 min to get here...... I was really disappointed and upset. Listen to the reviews, they're not lying. Bad service and they're liars! I ended up finding a nice tint service that did all 7 windows $220 nearby.
