I have been coming here for almost four years and i absolutely LOVE my nails everytime! I have grown to know Aimy and Jenni over these last couple of years, and they are the sweetest, most understanding, and warmest nail techs out here! I personally make appointments with Aimy, and she is a miracle worker! ** UPDATING MY REVIEW: because he messaged me about this review and now I wanna show u guys what's going on. Please look at screen shot. I have never dealt with unprofessionalism all my life. The way he said I'm bad person?? How. I still paid u with the hair I hate. He didn't even wash my hair right! Look at this gunk that's stuck in my hair!! I just wanted a refund to fix my hair that's all. I barely cry, but today I have cried because of how horrible my hair came out. I told the hairstylist exactly what I wanted to be done. He said he could do it for this price and he could book me in, so I was really happy and excited because the same day I have somewhere to be and I'm planning to look good. Over seven hours I have been sitting on that chair and it was "my time in a month" for me so you know it was a real uncomfortable situation to the point where I had to change my pants because I was sitting for so long. In the pictures, you will see our messages to each other and what I told him I wanted, and what my hair look like and how it came out after. He told me he could not lift it anymore. I had a hairstylist before him who always get the job done but because I wanted to try someone new and not make that far drive to my hairstylist I wanted to give him a try because I seen his page his work look good. If he could not lift my hair, he should've told me right when I sat down on that chair because a lot of of hairstylist, they examine your hair and they ask you questions. By the way, my hair has grown out so it was virgin hair so I don't understand why he couldn't lift that. He did give me a lower price instead of $550 I paid $380 but honestly I should have paid nothing because he done wasted both our time and my hair. He cut my hair so short about 5in when I told him I just wanted like a small trim like maybe 2 max because I want my hair long. He was being so rough with my hair, like dragging it down with a very small comb, pulling my hair. . And I did felt bad because he did waste of his time but remember he wasted my time too and I'm The one who has to look at this ugly hair and I have to go out tonight looking like this when I absolutely hate how this looks. It honestly look like my hair did not change besides, maybe it looks smoother and shorter that's it, but what I want it is nothing like what he gave me. I needed a last minute appt to fix the colored acrylic overlay that is currently on my nails. I called in the early afternoon to inquire about their soonest opening and they were able to squeeze me in same day. My review is not based on a full service so I'll give that caveat to level-set. The rating is based on them accommodating me and ultimately on Jenni. Jenni answered my pricing questions and made sure to get my consent before doing anything. I had slightly chipped one of my fingers and the chrome was starting to come off. Jenni got my nails from pearl chrome to a natural ombre and she did her best to straighten shape/straighten them too (a few were a little crooked). She did all of that in barely 20 minutes and that included cleaning up my cuticles. I've never been in and out of a nail shop so quickly in my life. read more

I don't like to give bad reviews but I came here with strong, healthy, long nails and left with nails that were paper thin :/ I normally get my nails done at a different salon in Oakland but I needed a last minute gel manicure and didn't want to drive all the way there, so I found this spot and thought "I just want a basic gel manicure, how bad could it be?" -- I definitely regret that now. First, when I came in, I got seated at a station and the worker who was sitting there was on her phone and did not acknowledge me at all for around 10 minutes. The station I was seated at looked dirty -- the towel I was told to put my hands on looked like it had been used by several previous clients and there were nail clippings and nail dust everywhere. When she finally got started, she began removing the gel nail polish I currently had on using a drill. No soak off -- just a drill for the entire process to the point that my nail beds felt hot and it was uncomfortable. Then, she started using her own finger nails to scrape and peel the remaining paint off... I know I should have said something at this point but I felt bad and was trying to trust the process that she knew was she was doing. When she was finally done, the shape looked fine and it looked cute, but I immediately noticed my nails were paper thin. If I lightly pressed down on them, they bent. I couldn't use my nails to even open a soda can because I knew they would immediately break. Sure enough, my nails that I had been growing out and were super strong previously broke after 4 days of visiting this salon. Also, the gel nail polish they use is so cheap. It's super thin and chips easily -- the gel that they use at my other salon does not chip for at least 3 weeks and the gel they used here started chipping after a few days. Anyways... please don't go here if you care about your nail health. I'm sure they can probably do more affordable cute designs and maybe the pictures look nice but your nails will likely suffer in the long run. read more
