It was very pleasant. They did an amazing job. I got a pedicure and manicure. I was very happy with the service, friendly as well. They closed at 7 PM and I was only able to make it there by 6:50 PM. They were able to accommodate working a little late for me so of course I tipped them well but they definitely deserved it. I never have that problem and my nails can last me up to 3-4 weeks. Lilly always gives a relaxing and pampering pedicure which leaves my feet feeling so soft. Tanya is very communicative and patient when doing my nails to ensure they will last and look perfect. She always gets my nails exactly how I describe and even makes suggestions to make them even better. Asked for Dip We nails w/ black tips....this is what I got. I'm only giving 2 stars because she gave me a discount.... When she started my nails thee shape looked good. She added the dip powder and they still look okay. She then try to paint my tips with gel. I told her that I wanted all dip powder. She added the dip powder and the tips were super thick. I was waiting for her to file them down so that my nails would be even. She tells me to wash my hands and proceedses to ask the clear top.....the base of my nails were smooth and the tips were thick and lumpy. I had to point this out to her. She kind of fixed it.....she added the final dip and you can see tiny white particles over the black tips and clear part of my nails. She tried to argue with me about it. Once I pointed out everything that she as the technician should have already recognized.. The only thing she could say was " Sorry my friend, I do next time" there will NOT be a next time. HOWEVER she did not care to listen to me, so I chose to wait until someone else would be in to fix it. I called KIM, she told me to come in and she would fix it. The whole time her and another employee are talking, while the other employee keeps looking at me.. long story short all she did was remove the top gel, file a little bit, then apply new gel, had me wash my hands and said "ok, bye!" ‍ looks EXACTLY the same! What I loved was how she quickly took out my old set which would regularly take forever with a lot of acetone and filing. My nails look natural and amazing!! I'm so happy with them. Inside the shop is spacious but "no frills". They have massage pedicure chairs that are in good operation. The nail technician that I had was skilled and didn't ask me a bunch of personal questions, which I appreciate. They had a great color selection, and they provide a good, clean pedicure and manicure. I took one star off for the neighborhood and lack of decor. I also got my cuticle trimmed a little too much on one finger, and had to feel the sting for a couple of days. You know what I mean?! Several weeks ago, I visited with my mother-in-law and had their top tier manicure and pedicure done. My first impression was amazement at how clean it was when we walked in and how courteous everyone was. I had no appointment but called ahead to see if they had room for two people. I was beyond pleased with the quality of both services I received as was my mother-in-law. My manicure lasted for two full weeks before it started chipping and my pedicure lasted longer. WARNING DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASH EXTENSIONS DONE HERE! Tanya did such a sloppy job on my lashes that the glue was scratching my eyes. I went back in the afternoon to ask for her help in removing them and she told me that there was nothing she could do and that I should go home and TRY to remove them with coconut oil. I was only able to take a few off after hours of trying. The glue lifted from my skin but not from my lashes. It was the worst experience and for her to be so nonchalant about the affect it was having on my eyes is alarming. read more

Also, the color I picked did not match the powder that was numbered. I would have been fine with the different color, but the job is horrible. My nails look super thick, ugly shape, very sloppy. You can see the white powder over the color.. they tried to charge me the full amount $40 for the dip powder manicure, but eventually only charged me $20 for their time, but at the same time I spent a long time there as well. I have been living in Vallejo now since 2002 and i have practically visited every nail salon there is in Vallejo...sadly, i was never consistently satisfied with the results, nor were they consistent with sanitation. I finally gave up on my search and used to travel all the way to Richmond just to get my mani/pedi, but my go-to nail tech ended up leaving and moved to Newark. Very sad. However, i can now say that i finally found my nail place here at home! I hope i dont jinx this because i know once i leave a yelp review, people will flock. I really hope the future customers who come here don't act like divas and treat the lovely staff with respect, because they deserve it. They are all super kind and always offer you water or tea. Its a family-owned business and they try to retain loyal good customers. They never rush you, are very clean, and they give you good quality work. I have only been getting gel manicures, pedicures, and powder dipped nails by Holly, Linda, and Kim and i am consistently happy with their work. Never Again! After a day of care giving for a family member with a broken bone, I wanted to treat myself to a pedicure with my sister. We called and made an appointment with this nail salon. We arrived on time to enter the salon that had amazing reviews so we were sure we would experience great customer service. On the contrary, we were met with belittling speech and attitude. We walk in and let on of the employees know about our appointment. After that, there was no response or instruction (ignored us) so my sister and I decide go look at the colors. As we walk to the polish we hear a mans voice saying "HEY, HEY, AYE" We were sure he was talking to a child as kids were present and you DO NOT speak to customers like that right? After, we hear "EXCUSE ME" from a woman--we turn around and they were ACTUALLY speaking to US. He then yells at us "YOU STAND HERE" hand/arm gestures included! Although at this point we are appalled and confused about why this man is treating us with such aggression and hostility...we comply. He them tells us in a unnecessarily rude tone that he needs to take our temperature and that we can not touch the polish. I then asked "can we just look at the colors?" To which he replied NO, we will bring you your colors so do not touch... I then replied "we do not want to touch we want to look". He then repeated that we can not touch... My sister and I looked at each other and made the decision to leave... We refuse to be treated as disposable or inferior and to patronize a buisness that practices treating customers like children and a burden. That type of attitude is not needed towards the community that keeps your business alive. read more

* DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP FOR DIP POWDER/ SNS Service* I found this nail shop via google search. I chose to receive service from here because- they were practicing social distancing and checking temperatures, so I felt safe. However, my nails chipped the very next day. Why? Well, the nail tech did not do my nails as I asked; I asked for a manicure with Dip Powder finish (some nail shops call it SNS). Yet, the nail tech did "dip powder" (which I really think was acrylic) and then painted my nails with gel. I DO NOT LIKE GEL BECAUSE it CHIPS! Yet, the nail tech insisted that it's what I asked for (not true) and that it worked better (not true). See photos; I got my nails done on 2 July and 1 nail chipped on 3 July & 3 others chipped on 4 July and 2 more on 6 July. I wont say their overall services are bad (because this was my first/ last time going) BUT do not go here for dip powder, I'm learning not every nail shop understands how to apply dip powder/SNS (or know what it means). read more

I just started going here for the past month . A nice family owns this place and I'm always coming on Sundays when out in Vallejo. Let's just say lily gives the best pedicures I ever had. Pretty much puts you to sleep while getting a massage in the chair. She handles your feet with care and it's just so awesome at the pedicures . They give great manicures as well and it's a very clean place always see them sanitizing everything. But lily pedicures is just so awesome lol. My go to nail shop when in Vallejo.
