Jackie and Annie are great when it comes to guy hair. They can do line ups, fades, tapers, and many other hair styles. There are other hair stylist but they don't mainly do those kinds of cuts. Sometimes it's busy so there is a wait but it is well worth it. Show them a picture and don't be afraid to ask in detail how you want it cut. read more

I see them not rushing at all to finish. They will let you know up front that u have to wait for a certain amount of time before ur turn. I have to wait for a hr but its totally worth it. I totally agree with Sandeep S. I moved to Fremont in July'13 and was on the look out for a good barber shop. I tried Prince, Don's but it somehow left me unsatisfied. I really needed a haircut yesterday and was looking at shops that were open after 6pm on yelp and came across Magic Clipper. I read the reviews and was impressed and wanted to give it a shot. I think it was Jamie would gave me the haircut - very humble, very polite and friendly. The shop was super clean and there was absolutely no pain or irritation during the haircut or after. This place sucks. I used to get hair cut from Jackie. He is a little bit better than those ladies over there but he seem to start having an ego issues. Jackie started passing me to those ladies even I had my appointment with him. They do swear in Vietnamese since I get to learn some Vietnamese curse words from my friends. They don't give haircut except Jackie who is very busy and Jackie is the owner but he makes fake story to get more tips. I stopped going there long time ago. I would give this place a zero if i could. I went in with my 5 year old son i told the lady i wanted him to have a fade with a lineup. She trimmed down the sides & back (didn't touch the front) then cut the top with a scissor 4min later she said finish. When i told her i asked for a line up, she said this looks better this is the style. WTF that is not your choice lady i now have to go to a different barber to get his hair fixed. This is my favorite barber shop until this new barber (other than jackie and stacey) who doesnt know how to cut hair, cutting my hair. she cut my hair after she put a gel on my hair. does that even make sense at all? and her cut is messy not straight. it was not good at all. If they want to hire someone then at least hire someone with some experience. This is so dissapointing! read more

Been here 5 times in a row for my son's haircuts and all times his hair has turned out very nice - they do a great fade!. He has very thick, coarse hair and he has a double cowlick so getting a good haircut is pretty difficult. I have tried a lot of places but I have been really happy with the service and cuts at Magic Clipper. Value is great you cannot beat $12.00 haircut. We used to go to a fancy schmancy kids' haircut place that charged double and it was not half as good. read more

I have been going to Magic Clipper for a little less than a year. After reading reviews about Jackie, I chose him to cut my hair. Although there is a long wait always, I liked the way he cuts the hair with dedication. Initially he used to charge $17. On 04/01/17, he increased the hair cut price to $20. In July he hiked the price again by a dollar. If you are getting more customers, it does not mean you keep on increasing the charges every other month. I will not go back to him. read more

I haven't gone anywhere else for two years now and I continue to come here. They all know me by name. I suggest you make an appointment, if you don't have time to wait. Went here a couple times. They did a decent job for the price the charged - The third time I came in I waited half hour to get my cut. When it was finally my turn the two stylists that had each cut my hair before told me they didn't know how to cut my hair. This place used to be great. They actually do a great job of doing a hair cut, but it's not worth waiting an hour in line with one worker telling you it's going to be soon. And not only that, you don't even know how many people are in front of you because they tell people to go walk around and come back. Yet the employees tell you it's going to be soon.
