This is a review for the polished concrete that Juan and his crew completed at my home. My partner and I called Magic Concrete after we had a less than desirable experience with a polished concrete contractor whom did not complete our project as expected. Juan arrived at our home and did an extensive walk thru with us detailing the current status of the floor. He provided us with several options to choose from as we needed to have the flooring repaired. He even wrote us a letter for our records! Juan and his team arrived on time everyday. They provided exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond the scope of the project. We were really happy with the level of detail and the pride they take in their work. Juan and his crew are great. VERY happy with the work that was done. The attention to detail and the care taken to avoid spreading dust or throughout the rest of our home. areas were taped off and appliances and walls were protected well. Our floors were done previously by another company, but more like half done and not sealed correctly. so we needed them fixed. FLAKE. This was no magical experience! He sounded promising at first. But the day he was supposed to arrive, we did not hear from him. So we called. He said he was in the City of Commerce (far away) and he "should have called but figured if I did not hear from him that I would just let it go. Do you want to reschedule or let it go?" I said, "You could have just called to let us know" He responded, "Well, I have alot of things going on and certain jobs are not worth it." EXCUSE ME? Then, he said, "You know what? I'm gonna let this one go. Then he hung up on me. I'll give him credit because he texted with an apology. However, this is a business and I highly recommend not using these people. read more

I highly recommend. Took my 100 year old Loft floor and restored it. Floor had many holes and nicks, so I had the choice to fill them or leave them, by filling them (patching), the patches might show up.....so I decided to patch some and leave some others natural. Floor looks awesome! The guy explained everything thoroughly, with realistic expectations. I went to see floors he did at Duke's Malibu and Quicksilver in Santa Monica, before hiring. He has a long list of references..... Price was very fair and phones calls and questions, before, during, and after were always answered. read more

I had a terrible experience with this man. He did a horrible job. My floor (10' x 10') is covered with hundreds of holes from popped bubbles. He lied to me about how many bags of quick dry cement were used (I had the used bags and counted what was i his truck). He even had his employees lie to me. The floor is uneven, there are 2 major dips. He refused to come back and fix the mess. I lost a few thousand. Ugh! read more

He likes cash up front - had one guy doing my floors in 100+ degree weather - had all my door and windows open - bugs all over the house - stain work up on all paint - never gave what he promised - big mouth - know it all that knows absolutely nothing and if he would like I will be more than happy to confront the little guy and let him refute what a terrible job was done. read more

I'm in the middle of a remodel and have had a hell of a time in finding real professionals to lay my epoxy floor . I came across this company through a referral . I spoke to Juan after researching the company and was impressed by the artistry and craftsmanship . Naturally I wanted to hire him but he isn't able to tackle my project till May which is too far out for my end date . Although the company is on the higher end of the pay scale as far as working on smaller jobs you can rest assured in their abilities . He was generous in offering me some of his peers who might take on my small job and even walked me through the steps to insure that those he referred or any one else I choose to hire or do my self were doing it right . My concrete floors were just grinded and polished by Magic Concrete and I couldn't be happier!! The slab was poured by another contractor and it was imperfect to say the least. Magic Concrete came out and assessed the condition of the floor and explained to me exactly the results I could expect from their service. To be honest, they have exceeded my expectations 10 fold. The crew had a tremendous amount of patience in grinding and resurfacing the imperfections created by the other contractor. After the coloring was added they buffed out the floor with a high grit pad and now my concrete floors look like a giant slab of Marble or Granite, No exaggeration. The owner was extremely personable, honest and fair with his pricing. I'm extremely satisfied with the results and more importantly, so is my Wife!!! read more
