Let me start out by saying that I have had three massages there... Two of the three were excellent! The third was average. The experience booking an appointment is not comparable to that of the experience you receive of high excellence when you book at Burke Williams or any other full service spa. There are long wait times and kind of a nasty tone in the voice of the person who booked my appointment as if they were having a really bad day and couldn't stand being there was the feeling I got. The experience when you walk in is pleasant it smells very Zen like a spa should. Did they give you slippers and leave you to your locker where there is a nice cozy warm robe. I was disappointed that the robe had a very heavy fragrance of laundry detergent or fabric softener as this is not something that you typically experience in spa setting. I have severe allergies and was bothered by the smell having a hard time enjoying the comfortable robe. I then went to check out the Jacuzzi and as I stepped in the floor the seats and side walls inside the Jacuzzi are rougher than any pumice stone I have ever felt... It practically rips your skin if you slide in anyway and extremely comfortable to sit on so I spent very little time in there. There is no lighting on the steps for you to see how many steps there are as you enter the Jacuzzi and both myself and another lady fell into the Jacuzzi after not realizing there was a final step only to scrape my feet on the bottom of the Jacuzzi. I think got into the steam room which was not steamy enough As the door does not completely shut letting steam escape the room. Thankfully I sat up on the steps away from where the steam explodes out as I did not see the sign that says do not sit near steam spout until after it had already blasted the room... I feel bad for anyone who might have sat down in that direction when that thing explodes as they could get severely burned. I then went to take a shower. The shower head on the wall is amazing! The best water pressure ever the rain shower would be a cool feature if the pressure coming out of there was any more than a sprinkle. I noticed that the corners around the floor in both the shower stall and where are you dry off are dirty with gunk, the The light fixtures are covered in dust as well as the vents. I then came out into the solarium on my first visit it was beautiful the sun was shining in there were fruit refreshments. The fire was lit and they had comfortable seating to enjoy waiting for your service. I then was called in to have the oasis experience which was lovely. It was just me in the room And the attendant who painted my body and face was very kind and hospitable. The warm room was relaxing, the shower felt like you were standing under a waterfall... I didn't want to leave and then the cold room which I wasn't looking forward to was actually quite enjoyable! They had little chocolates and strawberries as well as a sparkling apple cider and hot tea with a nice warm blanket. As I mentioned, on my first experience I had really no complaints it was only after joining the membership, which I did because the price is less than getting one massage a month. When I returned to redeem my monthly massage I was so excited to read my book in the solarium as a mother of two I rarely get time to myself and this monthly treat with something I was extremely looking forward to as a member. When I open the door I was so disappointed as the entire solarium smelled like sewage! I thought maybe there was some sulfur treatment that they offered but when I asked the staff what the smell was she then told me that they have been having this issue for quite some time where the solarium smells like sewage and they have no idea where it's coming from but that they usually do a really good job at masking the smell... burning candles and oil burners . The smell was so strong that I could not even sit in there for a few minutes. They said that they have tried making repairs figure out where the smell is coming from but haven't figured it out. I also asked about the Jacuzzi being so rough if that was going to be repaired and they told me that the following week the repair was going to be made... I returned several weeks later to give them time for that repair only to return to find that the Jacuzzi is still rough and was not repaired. It kind of gave me the feeling that maybe they tell people whatever they want to hear and then not take action. With the right management and some simple changes this place could go from a 3 to a 5 star spa. I hope it does because it is the only full service spa in Santa Clarita. read more

Today was my first time experiencing The Ivy Day Spa, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had. About a month ago, I was given a tour of the facility, and I immediately fell in love with it. I couldn't believe that such an incredible destination exists right here in our own community. The spa is much larger than I expected, and every detail feels thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing, luxurious experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, the customer service was exceptional. Even before my visit, every interaction over the phone was professional, helpful, and genuinely warm. The staff truly seems to care about making sure every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. I arrived an hour before my treatment to enjoy the amenities and honestly thought I might have too much time on my hands. I was completely wrong. An hour wasn't nearly enough. I started with a rainfall shower, then moved between the hot tub and steam room several times. The spa provides plush towels, the most comfortable robe I've ever worn, and beautifully maintained locker room facilities that feel both clean and luxurious. I especially appreciated the little touches, like the cold washcloths on ice and the refreshing cucumber water available throughout the spa. Just before my treatment, I spent some time in the solarium. The natural light pouring through the skylights creates such a peaceful atmosphere. Between the cucumber water, lemonade, snacks, and beautiful surroundings, I could have easily spent the entire day there. My massage therapist, Laura, was absolutely incredible. I received a deep tissue massage, and she did an excellent job of tailoring the pressure to my comfort level. She was professional, skilled, and created an incredibly relaxing experience. It was clear that she is truly talented at what she does. When my visit was over, I honestly didn't want to leave. One thing that really surprised me was the value. For such a luxurious experience, the pricing felt very reasonable. It felt like a true indulgence without the extravagant price tag that often comes with high-end spas. The Ivy Day Spa has created something really special. Whether you're looking for a massage, a day of relaxation, or simply a place to recharge, I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself. I recently had a pleasant experience at The Ivy Day Spa in Valencia, CA. I've been a regular client of Paula for pedicures and manicures, and she always does an excellent job. Paula takes immense pride in her work, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Even though I don't opt for color on my nails, she goes the extra mile to ensure they are in pristine condition every time I leave. The spa itself offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The general combined waiting area is quite relaxing, though it is relatively small compared to what I'm accustomed to. There's a downstairs area with a cozy fireplace and about 20 seats, allowing guests to unwind in a shared male and female space where robes or clothing are required. The men's locker room has a steam room, hot tub, showers, and lockers. However, I find the men's locker room less inviting. The hot tub is located in a walkway between the locker area and the main waiting area, which means anyone in the hot tub can see people passing by. The hot tub is also relatively small, comfortably fitting only about four people. The steam room is similarly small. Unfortunately, I haven't felt comfortable enough to spend time in the locker room because it doesn't provide a truly relaxing environment. While I can't speak for the women's locker room, my experience suggests that the men's locker room is one of the smallest I've encountered in any spa. On the upside, the pricing for services at The Ivy Day Spa is relatively fair. Despite the locker room shortcomings, the overall experience is positive, largely thanks to Paula's exceptional skills as a pedicurist. I would highly recommend her services. read more

I have been a loyal client of The Ivy Day Spa for some time, and I have always appreciated the excellent service--until my most recent visit. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a couple's massage, but our experience was marred at checkout when we discovered that my husband's gift card, which had never been used before, showed a zero balance. This was both surprising and stressful, especially after such a relaxing treatment. To resolve the issue, I provided proof of purchase from my American Express statement (matching the amount printed on the gift card envelope). The cashier then spent approximately 20 minutes searching the system, and only after I gave them the transaction reference did they fix the error. While I'm relieved that the problem was ultimately resolved, I left feeling anxious and concerned. What if this had happened to a friend receiving it as a gift? They would have had no way to verify the card's validity, which could lead to embarrassment or inconvenience. read more

I recently visited The Ivy Day Spa for a HydraFacial treatment and had an amazing experience. The spa itself had a calming ambiance and was impeccably clean. During the treatment, the esthetician Sierra was very professional and took the time to explain each step of the process. The procedure was comfortable and relaxing, lasting about 50-55 minutes. I was particularly impressed with the use of high-quality serums and the gentle extraction process. Immediately after the treatment, my skin felt incredibly smooth, hydrated, and had a noticeable glow. Over the next few days, I saw continued improvement in my skin's texture. Overall, I found the HydraFacial to be excellent value for money. Compared to other facials I've had, this one provided more immediate and visible results. The experience I had at Ivy Day Spa was pure relaxation. I was greeted at the desk and shown in person where my locker was and treeted like a true guest. My first treatment was the scrub and shei body moisturizer in the grotto...Following I relaxed in the solarium with a wonderful cup of tea and escorted next to my wonderful and I mean wonderful swedish massage that left me in a total bliss. I then again relaxed for a short while back in the solarium with another cup of tea by the fireplace and then was escorted to my next facial treatment. I felt like a queen for a day and when you are a Social Worker with juveniles on Probation, this type of experience at Ivy was exactly what the doctor ordered. My experience at The Ivy Day Spa was nothing less then amazing !! I usually go to a spa out of town but I was referred to the ivy by Wendy who insured me I would not be disappointed And I have to say she was right! She was very professional,attentive, kind, caring & went out of her way to ensure that I had a great spa experience. While I was there I had a facial , massage and body treatment . In between services I relaxed in their lounge area where I enjoyed delicious tea and snacks . The staff was even so accommodating that they had kept a surprise a friend had dropped off for me in their fridge , and brought it out once they knew I was ready ! As I finished up for the day The front desk was very helpful and the manager Mario gave great customer service insuring my visit was top notch! I'll definitely be going back !! read more

I have been a member of the Ivy Day Spa for four years. I love all the time I have spent there. The employee's are wonderful people. One particular employee by the name of Reagan has endeared herself in my heart. She takes the time to do special things for me such as bringing apple juice and fruit to the grotto , Which is above and beyond her duties. At the end of the day when the spa is pretty much empty, we have had many conversations that are fun and interesting. What a pleasure that a woman who is one third my age, really a young girl , has the maturity to participate, enjoy and learn from a conversation with an older woman. You can imagine, I also learn from her. Reagan will be heading off to college soon. I know she will have the time of her life and be successful. You go get them girl, the world awaits you. read more

Gone to Ivy Day Spa a few times but my recent visit was bad service. Don't want to use names but management needs to hire staff that understand customer service because it should be good at a place like this. When checking in employee didn't know what he was doing, and don't feel like hearing excuses when we go to this type of place to relax. Don't want to hear that your new, just got there, or about staffing problems. Not sure if two of the workers were dating but they seemed to be more interested in each other than customer service. And locker room was not well stocked and too much noise in the quiet room Haven't decided if Ill go back or not. Place seems to be going downhill. a place like this needs to probably pay staff more then minimum wage so they can hire better staff, with better customer service skills. read more

Place is going downhill. My last experience wasn't very good. don't know why staff forgets solarium is supposed to be quiet and relaxing when they are in or around there. Some of the front desk people are terrible and one seemed seemed spacy and lost and took him way too long to answer questions. Dont care if he was new or a bit slow, he was still creepy. Even when he was briefly in solarium, he made me feel awkward. But, the locker room and massage rooms are very nice, just have to not engage in conversation with therapist, while trying to relax. Place like this should have mostly female staff they don't seem to get that many male customers. Dont want to feel awkward at a place thats meant to be for relaxation. read more
