if you like pain, then this place is for you. If you have back problems (disc related or other) or perhaps have another injury, avoid these folks, cause your going to pay in pain. No one speaks English but the host, and his is poor at best. So when you try to tell them as I did, "I need you to take it easy on my lower back," they just smile, nod, and take it too you. I told my masseuse this several times while he pushed his fingers and knuckles into my spine. When he didn't stop, I ended the massage. LADIES BEWARE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SHADY PLACE!!! Let me explain....this place used to be a decent place to get a massage but since its been under a new management this place is HORRIBLE! I made my appt over the phone, specifically requested a "female" masseuse x 1 hr table massage. When I got there a female (don't know her name- middle age Chinese woman) masseuse greeted me and she began my massage. 5 mins into the massage, she gets phone call. She then leaves the room without telling me to answer her call. I thought that was pretty unprofessional /rude of her but whatever I was badly in need of a massage. 5 mins later she enters the room and continues the massage. While faced down, I noticed the masseuse had a different pair of shoes on then what she started with...sneakers...hmmm... I thought to myself how odd she had changed her shoes but didn't think much of it. Then I noticed the intensity of the massage was different, it was more softer and sensual. I then looked up and saw a freaking MAN standing in front of me while I was naked on the table!! I immediately told him to get the F*** out of here as I requested for a female not a MALE masseuse. WTF?? She did a switcheroo on me without telling me!! She later apologizes like crazy and gives me a lame ass excuse " I thought you wanted male masseuse", sorry Lady I give you 10 more mins Free" I was fuming at this point but she convinced me to stay. I used to like this place a lot and it was my go-to place until today. They make you pay before hand now which I thought was odd. Everything was going fine until the end when I gave Lindsay her tip. I only had $4 in cash on me. My plan was to go get some more and come back to tip her better because she did such a great job. I turned to walk out of the massage room and she stops me and fans out the $4 I gave her and looks at me like what the hell is this?! I explained to her my plan about getting more. She said "pay on credit card, more." I thought this was incredibly rude of her. I understand $4 is a sucky tip, but I wasn't going to leave it at just that. She then repeated herself as if me going to get cash was a stupid idea. This pissed me off. Customer service is a VERY big thing with me. Lindsay is a great masseuse but she had shitty customer service (in being rude at the end), patience and trust issues. The lady at the front desk was very nice though. This place was fantastic! Polite, clean, excellent quality massage. Probably the best I've ever felt coming out of a massage. My friend and I both did the 1 hour combo with hot stones. When we came in they got right to it, no chit-chat, which I thought odd, but we both got exactly the kind of massage we needed without saying much. However, if you did need to communicate, you'd have to speak up instead of waiting to be asked. We were lucky enough to be the only two people there, so I don't know how it'd be with more, but the body massage rooms are curtained off so it's not awkward. On Saturday evening, my friend and I went to MAGIC FOOT MASSAGE for a 90 minute combo. After our massage we learned that they were under new ownership, they are obviously struggling financially. Upon completion of our massage, she attempted to pay for services rendered with a gift card (one that I had given her). After waiting nearly 15 minutes, we were informed by one of the employees (an Asian gentleman who works the front desk) that her gift card was invalid. He asked then us if we could pay cash or pay with another credit card. I replied "No" so he proceeded to call the current owner and explained to her that our gift card was invalid. He then walked over to the front door and locked us in. I said to him "Are you locking us in this establishment???" He replied, "Yes I am and the owner told me to lock you guys in until you pay. When we both demanded that he let us out, he complied but literally followed us out the front door and ran after us, he then grabbed my friend by the arm and twisted her wrist (she was scratched during this struggle and has a swollen wrist & ankle). He followed us to my car and then he walked to the back of my car and took a photo of my license plate and several pictures thereafter. Subsequently, we filed a police report filing. This business has been charged with false imprisonment and battery. It would have been better off if they would have complied by honoring the gift card but now they will be faced with criminal and/or legal charges.
