I did a lot of research on artificial turf companies servicing the Brushy Creek area and after some shopping around, came across Umesh and KG Lawn Care. After receiving some ridiculous quotes from some of the "bigger" artificial turf companies, offering a lower grade of turf for a substantially higher price, I went forward with the project with Umesh and KG Lawn Care. Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. KG Lawn Care exceeded my expectations and truly helped me complete my dream back yard - The quality of work and character of Umesh will have me recommending him and his company to all my family and friends!

He has hardly finished 25% of our work. I would definatly stay away from him. Beware do not give him any depoists before the work is completed. I forgot to add that we had an offical contract signed by both parites agreeing on the payment schedule for 50% down before the start of the work and 50% at completion and mutally agreed contract pricing and terms. How can you trust someone to give more money if they are not truthfull to the agreed terms? I dont want to post the signed contract on this page but if anyone would like to ask feel free to reach out. He doesnt understand what a contract agreement means.

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter), they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

The customer service is really great. There was some confusion regarding the cancellation of service and initially I was told I have to pay for a visit. But they COO followed up the same day and reviewed the account/calls in detail and they took off that charge. Very impressed by the follow up!

On May 6th, I contacted them about weeds and yellowing in my Zoysia grass, which I suspected was the beginning stages of Take All Patch. I received no service and no follow-up by May 26th, and by that point approximately 30% of my yard had died. On May 26th, I received a bill for $227.38 with notes stating they could not service my backyard because the gate was locked. My backyard has never been locked, so I called to question the charges. I also noticed the bill included services I had not agreed to, including Chinch Bug treatment and Aqualizer. After questioning the charges, I was eventually informed that I had been billed for services performed on another customer's property. My account and credit card were charged for work done at a different address. The company credited back $109.40, but the remaining $117.98 was for services they claimed were performed at my property -- even though the original issue was that their technician had completed someone else's service under my account. When I asked how this could happen, the explanation was that it was "human error" because the technician did not verify the address. I was told they would provide coaching on address verification. That response was extremely concerning. If I had not reviewed the notes and questioned the charges, I could have unknowingly paid for another customer's lawn service. The manager did eventually come out and apply a fungicide treatment after reviewing the property, but this happened only after repeated calls and after significant damage had already occurred. The lack of communication, inaccurate billing, incorrect service records, and lack of ownership throughout this process is unacceptable. Since this company was bought out several years ago, I have noticed a significant decline in service quality and accountability. After 15+ years, I have canceled my service and would not recommend this company to others. Customers should carefully review their invoices and service notes because mistakes like this can go unnoticed.
