The gentleman at the desk was kind enough walk me through their process. I really appreciated that the jewelry was included with the cost of the piercing. The jewelry is not fancy; but definitely does the job and is cute. They use the basic jewelry to allow the piercing to heal which can take up to 6 months. After that time, you can switch out your piercings. Alecia was my piercer. I highly recommend requesting her. She is gentle, knowledgeable, and talks you through the process. Our consultation was longer than the piercings themselves. Lol. She was quick. I would definitely return to Best of Times for my piercing needs moving forward.

After a year of dealing with the hassle, she decided to let her lobe piercings close. Recently, she decided she wanted to get her ears re-piercing with a professional. After searching around, I came across Konkrete Jungle and specifically Alex as a professional piercer. I booked an appointment over the phone with clear instructions. During the appointment, my daughter and I arrived at the shop and were greeted by Alex at the front desk. She was professional and courteous, walking my daughter through the entire process from start to finish. She explained the options she had for initial earrings and why the stainless steel screw-on type were ideal for new piercings. Alex walked my daughter into her studio and talked her through each piercing patiently, answering any questions my curious daughter had. Because Alex uses needles rather than a piercing gun, it was different than what my daughter was accustomed to during her first piercing. In the end, there were absolutely no tears, unlike the painful experience at the chain jewelry store. Alex provided after-care instructions for the piercing and made sure she addressed all questions and concerns we had at the time. My daughter and I were thrilled with the positive experience and highly recommend Alex for any piercing needs.

Upgraded threadless jewelry, depending on the piercing starts about $10 more than what's listed on the site. Any additional jewelry upgrades range from $30-$70. They show you all of your options and then it takes a few minutes while they prepare. Elena did my piercing and she was great! She made me feel very comfortable and gave lots of information for after care of my piercing including her card and the correct supplies to buy. The shop was clean and nicely decorated! The inside is welcoming and clean. The front desk person went to find where the artists keep their portfolios located. Which led the owner, Mick, coming out front and finishing up with a client. I had overheard that the shop was booked until May. That made me leave because I would be gone by then. Mick, even while attending to a customer, asked about where I was going and suggested of a shop at the very state I'll be going to. That to me was what led me to write this.
