This is my favorite nail salon. Hands down. The couple who own and operate this salon are excellent. I have never left unhappy. They always do exactly as I ask, and if I 'find something' they always fix it. I have been getting my nails done here since they opened. The lady who owns this place is as honest as it gets, what she lacks in "bubbly personality," she makes up for in excellent nail application. The pedicures are as you would expect in any salon, extremely clean, drinks available, massage chairs. Their gel polish has always lasted a very long time, I have 2 kids and am pretty tough on my hands and feet and still have no issues with their services just coming off. read more

I have never in my life seen two people so snobby and not care about customer service. I have tried Magic Nails several times over the years and have never had a great experience. I paid for a spa pedicure and the woman immediately started on my feet, not allowing my feet to soak. I was in the chair for 10 mins; it was awful. And tonight my daughter and I were turned away. They close at 7 and I got there at 6:40. Every other nail salon I've ever been to will accommodate everyone and work a little over if need be. These people are jerks and only accommodate their small, regular clientele. I will never go back, no matter house desperately I need my nails done. The new owners of Gaffney Nails have a FULL staff and every single one of them are professional and kind. Magic Nails needs to take lessons from them. read more

Nails look decent. Didn't appreciate that I wasn't told up front that they did not take card. Lady requested that I leave my phone with her and go next door to get cash back. When i asked if I could write a check, the owner very rudely said no even though she let the lady right before me write one. On top of that, the lady who did my nails cut my cuticles 4 times with the electric file. I will not be going back. I left in tears. read more

I walked in 2hrs before closing and no body greeted me. I stood there for 10-15 min waiting then a guy said what you want!?!? I said fill in an overlay. He said we fully booked comeback tomorrow. So I put the business card back and left. They don't even open next day, they are closed. So he just didn't want my business. Don't go to this place, the service is horrible and prices are high. In this case you will not pay for what you expect to get. I would give no stars but that's not an option. read more

Love this place! Have gotten French tips at a couple different places over the years and none lasted as long and were as nicely done as this place. I always see Mike, so can't speak for any of the other ladies there but I'm sure they do a great job also. I have gotten tips put on as well as gel tips on my own nails (I don't know all the technical terms for these procedures) and have never been disappointed or dissatisfied with the results. In fact they've always exceeded my expectations. I've been to salons in Sptbg & Charlotte and another salon in Gaffney and no one is as meticulous as they are here. Far from it. Make an appt if you plan to come in the afternoon or on the weekend when it's much busier. Prices are very good. For what you get , they're wonderful. read more

Came as walk-in yesterday 5/7/19 was told to busy to wait on me. I was Told needed appt. Made appt for today 5/8/19 4:15pm. It is 5pm and no one has even acknowledged me! Would walk out but going on Vacation in 2 days and need my nails done! Will not be coming back. Will drive to Shelby next time! read more

I've been several times expecting different results/attitudes ...(insane..probably). I will say Ann is superb!!!! Very friendly and efficient.....However she was on vacation this particular day. I arrived at 1:50 with a 2:00 appt. 2.....2.....TWO employees working!!!! 4 people waiting. We never got acknowledged.....around 2.30 I asked if they only had two people working, he informed me they would get to me when they can. ?!?!? It's 2:30!!!!! Do they even know what courtesy is???? Do THEY wait 30 minutes at a drs visit.....or anywhere they have an appt???? I left!!!! Will never go back!!!! read more

I made an appointment for 2 in the afternoon when I entered the business I got a nod from a man sitting in the first table but I did not get welcomed nor did he say hello. It was very quiet there's no music playing. I felt like I was forced to watch The View a show I honestly don't like. At 2:05 for the second time I said excuse me in order to get the attention of someone. After finally obtaining attention I asked how far behind do you think you will be today? As I am a good judge of body language in character he did not appear to be rude but the look on his face was an indication that he does not have very good service skills. After an awkward conversation he informed me that it would only be about 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes later I began my pedicure service. The woman Rosa is very sweet. She's a very good pedicurist. She just her job efficiently. I'm giving this Salon A 4 rating because of the awkward silence and not being greeted when I walked in. Overall I recommend this salon and Rosa. read more

Absolutely Horrible!!!!! My fiancé and her bridal party were going to this establishment to get their nails done before the wedding. The guy in this establishment refused them entry because my fiancé had a service dog. He stated to look at the law which states that no animals are allowed but service animals are the exception. We handle these kind of things on a daily basis. But the gentleman here was a complete ignorant ass. News flash.... It is ILLEAGAL to deny someone with a service animal in the business. Contemplating filing federal ADA violation with this business. The gentleman was rude, and a complete ass. That's okay. Business was done elsewhere. I hope that this review spreads like wildfire... Ridiculous! Every time I've made appointments I have waited hours! I understand being busy, but that's the point of appointments! To add to this, they never acknowledged me. They could have at least said, I'm sorry but its going to be a while before your seen. That way I could have rescheduled, instead of waiting two hours before I get HOT and just walk out. Bad customer service! Will never try them again! I will keep driving 30 min longer to a better nail salon. read more

I'm visiting Gaffney from Atlanta to care for my sick dad and decided to get a pedicure. In Atlanta, pedicures are around 45-60 minutes in length and involve extras like sugar scrubs, callus removal, and soothing foot massages. When I walked in and asked for a pedicure, the manicurist sighed and gave me an irritated look like she definitely didn't want to be there, nor want to do a pedicure. I should have known it was not a good place because there were only 2 other people there on a Saturday afternoon. One other lady was well into her pedicure when I sat down. My experience was very bad and the entire pedicure was finished in 15 minutes. I got less than a 1 minute lotion massage to each foot/leg and only one coat of nail polish. When my pedicure was done, the lady next to me was getting a very thorough leg massage. Clearly, she had a better experience than me. I tried the only other nail place in Gaffney 2 weeks earlier and had a similar experience, although not as bad. I would definitely stay away from this place if you want any quality. Next time, I'll venture to Spartanburg until I can get back to Atlanta. read more
