I wasn't sure I would like this salon when I first walked in because it was very crowded and cramped. It didn't take long to warm up to the friendly staff. My wait time was just as stated when I checked in. My technician was attentive to my needs, and my gel mani and pedi turned out great. Great selection of colors and services. I can go to Lovely Nails for a pedicure and manicure and relax knowing I will get great friendly service in a clean and pretty salon. Every employee is friendly and acknowledges you. They offer complimentary wine and water as well as a coffee bar. There is a good selection of OPI colors to chose from. I have been getting the SNS which is a dipped gel on my fingernails. This is a little more expensive ($45) but will last me 4 weeks without chipping. The thing I miss most here is a nice hand rub after the manicure. Most salons I've been to do this. They do not. They do offer nail art as well. The foot tubs for pedicures are lined with plastic liners for each customer. Comfortable new massage chairs completes the pedicure experience. The classic (basic) pedicure is $25. Kami has done an excellent job every time I go. You may have a difficult time if you just walk in. It's always very full and I recommend calling ahead for an appointment. read more

I was looking for a nice manicure place, where I could get neat and tidy nails. I was not looking for anything extraordinary or complicated to do. The only thing I wanted is a neat and nice French. I showed the picture of what I wanted to the lady who was supposed to to it and she said "Yes, of course I can do it". I will attach the picture of what I showed and what the final result looked like on my nails. The whole hour I was there she was talking to me, telling me how different their salon is from the others, that they "never rush through things, trying to satisfy clients and make sure they get what they want". And at the same time I saw that she most definitely was trying to be faster, rather than neat and trim. She was putting tips on my nails and she did it so carelessly that after she did SNS the edges that were supposed to be glued to mine, were just sticking out like humps on the nails. Everything looks like a complete mess. I was SO DISAPPOINTED that I almost cried when I looked at the result. But I did not want to argue or anything so I just paid 55 dollars and left in silence, deciding that I will never come back there again and will never recommend this place to anyone. I just cut them today not to feel embarrassed. I do not know if everyone there has no idea how to do nails, but girls, I beg you, think twice before going there. My specialist's name was CHOUA. And she consciously was lying to me that they look pretty when I just saw on her face that she knew she did a bad job! This one star I left just b/c I don't know how to leave -100, because I came there for nails and left without 55 bucks and with ugly hands. :((( read more

Not impressed. Went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. Didn't have an appointment, but walk ins are an option per Yelp. Waited an awkward few minutes while they tried to figure out their schedule. I gladly would have waited, but they squeezed me in with two different techs and both were obviously rushed. Pedicure was super fast and sloppy. Not the least bit relaxing. My nails weren't cut or filed and cuticles weren't touched. So I paid $28 for a foot soak and paint job. The second star is for the tech who was chatty and nice. The manicure quality was better, but the experience was sub par. The tech was super rude. She was annoyed that I couldn't relax my hands enough. Probably because she was manhandling them and cut my cuticle too deep. What a waste of money. Won't be back. The quest for a decent nail salon in Spartanburg continues... read more

The two stars is solely for the fact that the techs were all very nice and all spoke in English. However, the work was not well done. My pedicure was 10 mins, if that. There is polish on my cuticles and skin and the massage consisted of placing the scrub on me and then washing it off. I got a SNS manicure for the first time. Not pleased. I went with my friend, and when I compared hers to mine, I saw what it was supposed to look like. Hers were smooth and shiny. Mine are rough, on my skin, and dull. The girl was really very nice but very distracted by chatting with other clients and employees. So I will not be going back to see Sophonnie. read more

I simply wanted a color change for my nails.... not only did the lady completely RUSH her work with me, My nails started peeling after an hour... literally every nail... and mind you, I got Gel polish... Will never go again and wouldn't recommend lol. read more

Great nail salon! Really nice employees and very clean establishment! I recommend calling for an appointment before going because they are always pretty busy (walk-ins are not always worked in). I've had almost every nail tech there and they are all fantastic! I really love their OPI gel polish and their selection of colors is awesome! Definitely recommend! read more

The people were very nice but it didn't feel relaxing. There was nothing luxurious about the pedicure. It was fast and the paint job was terrible. I have tiny nails (which they teased me about) but I've never had an issue with other places painting my toes and it only being on my nails. The paint was all over the cuticles/skin around my nail. Very disappointed with the price we paid ($28) for the less than mediocre service we got. The kind of pedicure my friend and I got should have been $15-20 max. The soak wasn't very long and the lotion/massage was maybe 20 seconds, if that. They also made fun of me bc it took me a couple minutes to put my cold feet in the hot water. Sorry, I don't enjoy the sensation of my feet burning. I don't think I've had such a bad pedicure to be honest. I'll give them credit that the salon was clean and not busy. read more
