Second time going in over 5 years...still the same. Half job without a skill set to do the simplest pedicure. They are nice but that's about it. So disappointed. Toe nails all different lengths (I wanted close cut and got various). I didn't allow them to finish due to how horrible the job was headed. No discount given. Didn't ask for a discount. Never Again!!! I decided to try it, my other place was packed for Vday weekend and a French gel pedi seemed simple enough. The pedi tub was filled with COLD water and then hot water was added, making it luke warm at best. Place is run down, toes where done below average. But above all this tech was rude, snippy and act annoyed with the fact that I didn't need the pampering. I told her I was short on time, leaving out of town next morning and all I needed was lotion & scrub & paint....And tried to keep doing the extra.... I informed her again again I just needed basic after a second convo she rushed through my gel and painting making the white on tip TOO thick, I had to go to another place to fix it.... I didn't get her name but I got a picture. Stay away from her. I'm not sure how the customer experience is with other techs, but I will not go back to find out! Never Ever Ever Again!!! read more

I had a terrible experience. My nail appointment was at 9:30 and my nail tech was late. She didn't file my nails and my French tip looks like my different on both hands. I paid $30 extra for a pedicure that has paraffin scrub and she didn't stub my feet. I was charged $20 more than my last visit and I had the exact same services. read more

Just left shop business has changed employees twice since 2021 this crew the worst I paid 65$ where as price list showed 40$ feet 16$ basic nails I watched the girl add alcohol to my top coat so she could stretch it and you know what happened be fore I could get out the parking lot the polish slide off came told her to remove itand refund my 16$ which of course nobody was the boss I told them to keep it because I have no intention of a repeat read more

I got a manicure and took my daughter (5) and niece (4) to get their toes done. When we got there, they wanted the whole pedicure experience, and they sure got it! There was one lady in particular, I wish I got her name, that made my girls feel so special and adored! She got them pillows for their chairs, made sure their toes sparkle, told them how cute and pretty they were- they left feeling like princesses! We are from out of town so we can't return, but if we lived there, they'd definitely have my business! read more

I have been to this location twice now and both times I have been impressed with the ladies in here. They are sweet and will go the extra mile for you to make u happy. I have a little ocd when it comes to things being even so having to find the right place who knows how to shape all 10 nails perfectly has been a little hard in the raleigh area. But I believe my search is finally over coz these ladies did a great job both times I've been here. So apparently, this is the go to place to have some pampering done while your car is in the shop. I did my yelp research and while there were other salons on capital, none on the same side as my garage. Sure there are walk signals, but I'm not confident enough to brave walking across that traffic on a good day, let alone early in the morning before I've had my coffee. So I decided to check this place out. Upon checking out the polish colors, I felt like I was looking in to my bottom bathroom drawer circa 1995. All of the bottles were jumbled together looking half empty and worn. None of the bottles had names, and few were high end. Not wanting to be rude (see also: too lazy to leave and find another place) I opted for a fun color of a newer looking bottle and sat down for my pedicure. The treatment itself was great, awesome leg massage, the type that some places would charge extra for. The manicure was average. Initially upon leaving, I was thinking 4 stars based on service. However, my nails were chipping the very next day, which was a total bummer. If you go here, bring your own polish. read more

This company is highly unprofessional I had a Wednesday morning appointment at 10:00 a.m. I live in Cary I came all the way from Raleigh I paid a $25 deposit She double booked the person couldn't do my nails so she got her sister to do it Her sister was on the third nail another woman walks in We realized they've tripled booked appointments so she asked me to get up seeing as though I have a full set so some man can take the jail off and the woman has a feeling I said I paid my deposit Why do I need to get up She said cuz you have a full set The man proceeds to take the jail off my nails when he's done he turned the light out and he got up he walked away I sat there for 14 minutes no one came and said anything A lady then came and asked did I want a pedicure I said no I'm here for a manicure still no one said anything I proceeded to put my coat on and I told them this is very unprofessional and I left No deposit was given no apology was given I don't see how I ended up with the short end of the stick seeing as though I paid my deposit and I came all the way from Carrie for no reason this company's unprofessional I would never return nor should you save your money. After YEARS of not getting my nails done and trying to other places, I finally went to Magic Nails to give them a try. They're awesome! So much so that I have my 16 year old daughter comes along with me to get her nails done. I have to say my experience was far less than ideal. A friend and myself decided to go in on a Thursday afternoon around 3. She chose gel nails for hands and I chose general pedicure. She sat down as I was told to wait for someone who was being waxed before my needs could be met. Over a half hour later I found myself still waiting without further communications from staff. I should mention two of the staff were back and forth outside, purchasing fruit and carting cases of it around...all while people wait to pay good money for services the store boasts. I took the chair beside my friend to let her know we would be leaving when she finished her fingers without either of us having pedicures. A different staff member spoke up to ask why. As I attempted to answer I was talked over by two staff members in their native language. Obviously they took no concern to my needs, customer service, my time being valuable or making lifetime customers. I cannot recommend this place for any service to anyone. I will be leaving as soon as my friend is done to search out a more friendly and accommodating salon. Good riddance, magic nails...nothing magic there except for the fruit stand that backs right up to the door...and, of course, how they stay in business while exercising complete disregard for customers. read more

The door to Magic Nails was opened dispite the hours on the door stating they do not open until 10:00. The lovely owner of the shop was getting ready for the day and agreed to give me a manicure.
