I got a liquid gel fill from this location. 3 days later it started chipping off and at my cuticles it started lifting and getting caught on my hair. I called to ask if someone could please fix them and I could come in any day they are available. They told me to come in on a Monday (exactly 1 week later). When I go in they told me they cannot fix them and could only get a top coat. They said it was too late to get them fixed since it was at the 1 week mark even though I told them the person on the phone told me to come in that day. They said I could come back in again next week and pay to get them re-done again if I wanted. They offered no other solution even when I said I was unhappy with how they looked. I am at the 2 week mark (normally my nails last for 4 weeks) and they are completely chipped and lifting off of my real nails. I called in again to ask if they could at least give me a discounted rate to get them re-done since I paid $80 for them. They said no and that I would have to pay full price. Today is Wednesday March 19th , I had a very disappointing experience at Garden Nail Bar .The staff rushed through my appointment, barely taking the time to properly prep my nails. It felt like they were more focused on getting me in and out rather than providing quality service. Within a day or two, my nails started chipping, which is unacceptable considering the price I paid. The polish wasn't applied evenly, and the edges were rough. I expected a relaxing and professional experience, but instead, I left feeling like an inconvenience. My friend and I met here for a pedicure. It was my first time going at her suggestion and it's convenient to me. We went on a Wednesday around 3:45p and was able to walk in with no appointment and check in with ease . I chose my color (well kinda, I showed a picture of the shade of pink I wanted and was assisted in getting a nice shade from their array of choices). Both Jon and Lynn provided excellent service and gave a quality deluxe pedicure which included a paraffin treatment. The environment was calm and clean. We also enjoyed the red wine offered. This is my 3rd time here and this was my best visit. I got gel manicure, regular pedicure, and eyebrow wax all done my Lynn. I think this is why I had a great visit because I only had one tech the whole time, which I prefer if they can do it all really good. I wanted a light pink sheet gel color and Lynn really took the time to help me find the right one I was looking for. She also gave reviews on which gel color would work best and which wouldn't. I like that she took her time instead of rushing me to make a decision. I will definitely be back and make an appointment with Lynn. This place is weird... I called and ask how much fill in are on toes and he said $40 for a fill in. I also wanted a pedicure and that was 38 dollars for a classic. I showed the man what i wanted on my toes and it was white french tip. I've grew up in nail salons ok.. i know what they can do and what they just simply can't. I come there and once they finish the pedicure and start on my toes he's like painting my old acrylic and i'm confused because this is supposed to be a fill in. They try to tell me since my old acrylic is white they can't do my french tip. That's a lie. Ive had this acyriluc on my feet for almost 3 months now for fill ins. I've done many different thing. And why wouldn't you tell me that before you started anything??? i showed him what i wanted before they even started. Why wouldnt they do a soak off then just redo the acrylic? I went on looking for a GEL fill not gel polish. They had a container labeled "gel powder" but I suspect it's acrylic, which I absolutely hate! I kept asking questions and now I feel lied to. IS APPLIED THE SAME AS ACRYLIC, no light cited gel like I'm used to. It's a "puppy mill" in there. Get them in, get them out... No real quality work being done unless you want acrylic nails. Mine were too thick and uneven on the sides. The photos are after 1 week to show the grow out process. NEVER AGAIN. Cuticles are dry and we're never dealt with during the appointment although I keep asking for it to be. read more

Pro: Marisella was great! Super nice, she said great things about the nail salon as we talked about how long she had been there. She comforted me in the cleanliness, the Garden nail bar is very clean ! They have some items that are one time use, which I LOVE! I don't have to worry about someone else's skin or nail particles on the equipment while it's used on me. She uses a magnifying glass with light on your hands to ensure she gets all the hangnails and cuticle off your nail! She's super meticulous and I cannot boast her skills enough! DEFINITELY coming back for her! I have also done my mani-Pedi's with Tony, he's super sweet and very good at his craft as well. Con: They don't have OPI Gel polish They have another brand that had some decent colors, but it's difficult to match colors from alternate brands. That's my biggest complaint, and it's not a huge deal. I did knock off 1 star because fact of the matter is OPI is a big brand to not have on your shelves. Back to the positives! I have been a loyal Garden Nail customer for over 4 years. Yesterday was by far THE WORSE experience that I've had!!!!!!! I went for a pedicure, and I took my granddaughter, who soon leaves for college, for a toe polish change. My Pedicure service was anything but relaxing or refreshing. The tech rushed my service, didn't offer refreshment, or positive energy. My Granddaughter was mistreated and met with an unprofessional rude approach when paying for her service!!! My Granddaughter was over-charged and charged multiple times. To make matters worse, The Manager was quite rude, argumentative, combative continuously and actually attempted to then charge me for both her service as well as mine?????!!!! My Granddaughter contacted her bank to confirm the payments, as well as showed the manager their payments!!!! He had the audacity to question her phone as though she was a criminal and he still tried to insist on getting more more from us!!! The manager needed to refund the overage, which he also refused. There was obviously a tech issue on Garden Nail side that their receipt didn't print out. Rather then the manager apologize for their mistake and offer quality customer service, the saga continued. Suffice it to say, as a result of this unprofessional stressful behavior, I won't be returning. I paid for my service as usual and we left. Meanwhile the experience had both my Granddaughter and I very upset and very stressed. I will miss my nail tech Lee, who does amazing work and is tipped very well. However, my season is over at Garden Nail and I will go to a more comfortable and professional environment! Being a loyal customer typically means something. Yesterday was appalling. I am a seasoned entrepreneur with a successful business. I well know the value of providing consistent superior customer service!!!! As customers, we simply want and need what we are paying for!!!!! John worked on my nails. When I initially came in, I asked the receptionist if there was someone there that could do french tips, but instead of a straight line, curved. I showed a picture. The first person she brought over said he could not do them so I thanked them and told them I would go somewhere else. That's when John assured me that he could do them. From the beginning before I even got my nails done, they printed out an itemized receipt asking me to pay for my nails. That was a little odd, seeing as they had not even started on my nails, but I didn't say anything. The total cost was $83. $10 for nail takeoff, $15 for nail design, $5 for nail shape, $41 for gel powder, $12 for gel polish. I noticed they charged for everything they could think of, but I agreed to pay that price before they started my nails. Then after they were almost finished, I was told that it would be an additional $10 on top of the $15 they were already charging me for my nail design (it was a simple French tip--only a curved line versus a straight line) so they wanted me to pay a total of $93. Because John had already done my nails and the only thing left to do was paint my nails, I just asked him to finish. When he started painting my nails, it looked absolutely nothing like the picture I had shown or like he had told me before we started that he could do. I couldn't believe that on top of them charging me $93 for "special designs", no one there could do the French tips I had asked for. He tried 4 times before accepting that he didn't know how to do the design. After I told him that he didn't have to worry about the French manicure since he was unable to do it, he whispered to me "Don't ever come back here". I asked him to repeat what he had said because I thought I heard him inaccurately considering the whole time, I was courteous and respectful about it and it was in fact him that had told me he could do a style that he couldn't, and when he noticed other people looking, he smiled because he didn't want other people to hear him. All in all, this place charges for air, so to speak. And their nail techs are not good. I wouldn't recommend going here if it was the last nail shop in the state of North Carolina. read more

I went here on last Sunday to get my brows done and a pedicure . I was told to wait 20 minutes . As I'm waiting more people are arriving . About 25 minutes later , I'm called back for my brows then told to go back to waiting area once I'm done . Only to realize that 2 people that came in about 15 minutes after me were called back for pedicures while I am getting my brows done . I STILL sit PATIENTLY for about another 25 minutes before I paid for my brows and left ! Also the lady (that sits to the far left of front nail bar ) did a horrible job on my brows . She only waxed them because she was in such a rush to get back out to the persons nails that she was on that she did not pluck them AT ALL ! This is the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My friend and I went to get pedicures and manicures. The pedicure was decent. See photos attached... (what we asked for and what we walked out with) My friend and I asked to get ombré SNS nails with accent nail. There was so much miscommunication. We were told an acrylic nails or overlay was necessary. We informed the nail technicians we are nurses and cannot have acrylic nails. I said acrylic overlay over my natural nail was fine, however, the manager then came over stating the SNS was "healthier for nails". We told them it doesn't matter whether it was gel, SNS, or acrylic overlay over natural nails we just wanted what we showed on the photo. The nail technicians weren't very helpful in choosing the basic pink "natural" looking color. Neither one of our nail techs knew how do do the ombré. The manager came over to do it herself and was just dusting white powder over the nail. The photos speak for itself for the kind of job that was done- poor. I was unhappy with my nails, there was attitude already when we asked for the accent nail to be redone. We walked out with our nails looking horrendous and paid $77 dollars (mani and pedi). I got comments from people I encountered of how horrible my nails looked and they were shocked they even let me walk out like that. I called the next day to see if I could get a refund or have them redone. I was told there was no refunds but they'd be willing to redo my nails at HALF the cost. Because I didn't want to walk around with nails like a 7 year old did them, I went in and paid an additional $20. The manager the next day didn't greet me or even make eye contact when I walked in. The service was terrible, rude staff, and they showed they care more about getting your money than having a satisfied customer. Don't forget your clients are walking advertisement of your services. Then when I called and came back the lady was nasty to me. I didn't deal with her that way. I told her after she talked to me like that they will not get any of my money. Honestly the worst nail job I've ever had done. $42 later and my nails look absolutely atrocious - it looks like a child did them. I've gotten gel manicures here before and they weren't bad, but the dip powder is hideous. Way too thick, inconsistent color all over the nail bed, and remnants of powder left all over my fingers and cuticles. Simply put they're mediocre. The price for a classic mani is $19 which is pretty high. My nails were done in less than 20 minutes including drying time if they gives you any idea of their quality. I keep my nails very cut and trimmed so theres little work to do. Even then they didnt manage to file the edges down or cut around the cutes very well. The service was pretty lack luster too. Girl was more worried about her phone charger than taking care of me. In fact one lady had to tell her to focus on finishing my nails instead. Its a whole in and out rush job. They're not the worst but it seems like most places dont care about quality and give to much push back when you ask them to simply do a good job. I gave this place 3 times to get it right! Now I normally do my own nails bc I can't find a place that has great work and customer service which is important to me because I'm spending my money. But i went out for a moms day with my sisters. This place is very greedy. Charge $3 dollars for shaping $3 dollars for a broken nail (mind you it was their fault from last week) $3 dollars for cutting my toenails during a pedicure. I wanted a regular French on my toes and the woman told me French is better with gel. (She just didn't want to wait for regular to dry) I asked her how much would it be? She said $25, so she intentionally misled me to think it was five dollars more but it was $25 extra on top of my already pedicure, she also was very rough with my feet and my legs during the pedicure. She hurt me four times. She also left my toenails shaped crooked! I was going to get my nails done by a different person and she ended up leaving so I had no choice to stick with the lady who already did my pedicure, roughly! The vibes where off, they were very polite but not nice. I also got a simple French on my hands but the lady rushed so I came out mid. My nails popped of in a week again! They have many options when it comes to getting a full set and the woman that I first worked with didn't seem to understand that I did not want acrylic. After coming here multiple times and having great experiences. I had a very poor experience today and the manager ANDY was very reluctant to fix it.. I got dipping powder done my nails were bumpy and uneven with many gaps I requested that they have them removed and all I got was attitude and excuses. After having to boldly tell them to remove my nails I was left there for 20 minutes sitting with my nails wrapped in cotton and foil.. if it wasn't for the fact that I started removing them myself someone wouldn't have come over and help me I had to ask for help 2 times they kept on taking other walk in clients instead of making sure that I was satisfied. Or at least complete the removal process thatnormally just takes 5 to 10 minute. Then I was not offered an apology nor a gift certificate to come back I was basically left to walk right out the door. I called and asked to speak to the owner I was told the owner never comes in I have my phone number we'll see if I ever get a callback! Now I'm left with no nails and two plus hours wasted on a Sunday. Icing on the cake my 3yo was with me the whole time. Until we reached the two and half hour mark! Dipping takes 45 minutes! This guy idk his name was horrible. Update.. I'm never going back there. Tried to talk to Andy Bc he's the only one that answers the phone. Owner never called me back.. Andy said I lied on the review. He never touched me.. which is a lie. BC He grabbed my hand and started polishing it. He barely let me get a word in on the phone.
