FINALLY... A DENTIST WITH COMPASSION. After 3 days I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. Root Canal is scheduled for next week DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I was seen and prescribed an antibiotic for infection (which did not work). I have been in pain for the past week and they refused to give a different prescription- their only concern was getting me back in there for a $5k root canal or $400 extraction fee. They could've just prescribed a heavier dose of antibiotic to begin with, or maybe this is how they force patients to return right away for costly procedures.

One moved away out of state, not sure about the second one and the current one is less than stellar. My husband and I have different insurance companies; I was billed for a visit from October, it was dated 12/30, but stated it was due on 11/30, which made no sense to me. I paid in a timely manner and on 2/1 I was billed again for the same amount. When I called to inquire about this, the "office manager" was rude and assumed I had my husband's insurance "If I remember correctly," she said. Then my husband's bill arrived; we were billed $101 more than what the EOB said was his responsibility. She is defensive and rude when asked about the inconsistencies in the billing to the point where I asked her not to speak to me in "that" tone. I told her I would like Dr. Cannata call me, gave my home, work and cell phone numbers and never received a call back. Called to find out what was going on with my husband's bill so I could pay it only to learn there is actually a credit on the account (still have not seen an updated bill). Dr. never called so we cancelled our upcoming appointments and will look for another dentist.
