For serious students, she prepares students for National Guild Auditions and has hosted the judging at her studio. She teaches on a grand piano or an electronic keyboard if the student prefers. Special events are played on her concert grand piano. As a disabled person, the easy access and parking in Teddy's quiet Laguna Niguel neighborhood makes it easier and safer for me to get to my lessons. Many adults learning for the first time or getting back to piano also enjoy piano study with Teddy. Her knowledge of the popular as well as classical piano literature gives each adult the opportunity to play music that interests him/her with arrangements Teddy can find that the student can play. She makes great use of YouTube performances and other electronic media to provide model performances and background information about the pieces her students are studying. Instead of formal recitals, this group gets together for optional social gatherings where we play for each other just for fun. I enjoy keeping up with my fellow adult piano adventurers, sharing with them about the kind of music I have been playing and putting some extra effort into getting my piece ready to play at the party.

We signed our daughter up at 18months old for the "twirl with me" class. It's been about a month and has been so fun to watch her slowly learn how to listen, follow instructions, pick up on routines, and associate with the other little dancers.
