The technician was polite and there wasn't much of a wait. The unfortunate issue was she took off about 70% of my eyebrows which I was not expecting nor did I ask for. I was hoping to just get the stray hairs removed not razor thin eyebrows. read more

These ladies are beyond amazing. Came in from Houston and I never trust any to do my brows because they were previously messed up by another styled elsewhere, but it was an emergency as I was visiting my mother in law. As I walked in I noticed a make-up sign so I gave it a shot. Makeup and brows came out so beautiful. I received so many compliments and makeup lasted all day! I used to go to rishia but her customer service started to become unacceptable. I found this place when my sister and I were rushing to get our eyebrow done for her baby shower. Evoda is great at waxing, she really has a magic touch because there was no pain and tugging on hair strands however, my mom and I got a haircut by hair and it was a disaster!!!! My mom ended up with a bowl cut with uneven sides and I absolutely hate my hair. It's uneven and has no shape. Right now we just trying to grow it out. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a few years now and even then it still usually hurts a little whenever I get my eyebrows threaded but then I found this place. It was my first time here, the lady was nice and took care of me right away. It didn't hurt at all really. Only a few of those tough hairs but that's not the threader's fault. It was quick and pain-less. My eyes didn't even water a bit (which always happens). I'm really glad I found this place. The price was an average price for threading. Nothing expensive. Just ten dollars. I would recommend her and the place to anyone. read more

I love this place so much the owner is who I lobe to do my brows they get so busy and I usually come right after a rush and they are always still so sweet. I get my eyebrows threaded and I tinted them once which I loved. Tinting make them look fuller and beautiful for 3 weeks only 10$ for threading and 15$ for dying your brows read more

This review is for threading only. I've come here several times for eyebrow threading ($10) because it's so close by to me. It's to the right of the HEB. They do walk-ins and appointments. I've only ever gone as a walk-in. They have a small shop-- 3 salon chairs. You go in and write your name down. Sometimes there's a small wait, sometimes it's really busy. I've seen people go their for hair as well as threading. Guys and girls. Brow threading is quick and efficient. It's never a totally painless process, for those who have never gotten it done, but it's worth it for nice groomed brows! Service is always friendly. The salon is clean (bathroom too!) and well-kept. I walked in on a random Friday around 3 pm and was immediately served for my eyebrow threading & didn't have to wait longer than 20 minutes for my haircut. I loved how fast the woman was with the eyebrow threading! She cleaned my eyebrows up quickly and I loved the shape I ended up with. Other women came in while I was waiting for my haircut and their eyebrows turned out just as great. As for my haircut, the woman gave me a quick dry cut (to "see the split ends better") and I was happy with the way it turned out! I wish I had gotten it washed and then cut but the haircut turned out great anyway. The women were really sweet there which I appreciate and the prices are very reasonable ($10 for eyebrows and $30 for the haircut). I'll probably be coming back in the future considering it's close to where I live! read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for several years now. I was in St. Louis and found my favorite place there. I just moved back to San Antonio and it was time to get my eyebrows done! I tried this place out and I'm in love! $10 for eyebrows. I walked right in at 5pm on a Friday. Gauri (I hope I spelled that right!) did a great job. That was the fastest and most painless I've ever experienced and they look the best! I usually have to clear up a few stray hairs, but not this time! The only thing I didn't like was that I am accustomed to being offered witch hazel afterwards and they did not do that here! I will definitely be back! read more

I came here because my regular threading place was closed. The threader was really aggressive and heavy-handed resulting in several cuts on my lip and chin. She also wasn't thorough and I had to keep telling her places she'd missed and STILL left with patches of hair in different places. She was also quite rude when I told her it was hurting. Overall, would not recommend this threading salon at all. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. The more I look at my hair, the more I hate it. I don't know the name of the woman who cut my hair, but her hands reeked of cigarettes and she cut my layers the way a child would cut their own bangs. I pretended to like it so I could leave because I did not want her to touch my hair again. Further, the moment I sat down she asked if I wanted my eyebrows done "because I need it." Rude. I thought maybe she's just trying to make a sale and is just bad at talking to people, but she kept pushing it even as I was trying to leave! No, thank you, I can hide this train wreck by putting it up. I cannot hide my eyebrows, or the mess her nasty hands would have made of them. read more

First time here and it was a good experience, the lady that did my brows, took her time and did such a great job. This might be my new place to get my brows done as I loved the way the lady shaped them. The only thing is that the chair was super uncomfortable and I had to keep readjusting my head, also I don't know how often they sanitize their tools or wash their hands after each guest. The fact that the brow specialist didn't wash her hands after the previous guest while potentially using dirty tweezers on me, makes me uneasy so that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. read more

My fiancé and I just got our eyebrows done here. Great customer service and extremely friendly. The price is also great, $10, for just your eyebrows. Every time I have been they do a very thorough job, they even stopped my fiancé after finishing and paying to sit her back down and even out a spot that looked uneven. read more

The ladies here are fantastic! The salon is extremely clean, and the stylists know precisely how to shape your brows. Though it was personally my first time in the salon, the 2 employees knew the other 4 clients that entered by name and asked them about their families, lives, ect. I will never visit this place ever again. If I could give it zero stars I would. I went here today to get my eyebrows threaded, which I have done twice before, and it was an absolute train wreck. I asked the woman to please TRIM the tiny bit of hair that hangs down below my brow and by the time I left she had taken a huge chunk out of the bottom of my brow that was not even blended in with the rest of the brow. She plucked and trimmed my brows for almost 15 minutes and by the time I left I had hardly any eyebrow to show, although I walked in there with fully grown brows that took me a long time to grow. She did so horrible it almost brought me to tears. I understand they will grow back but I will not waste my time coming here ever again after leaving with chunks taken from my eyebrows. I've been going for over two years with Mandy and never had issues until this Wednesday I went. She was rude she had the sniffles and I saw her using the same gloves for customers over and over super disgusting. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly. Alright, moving on. Unfortunately, we are both very disappointed with the services we received. To be fair, I did not expect a lot of bells and whistles as this is primarily a hair salon, and we were drawn in by the 4 stars and single dollar sign, but I did expect the basics to be done well. First off, there were only two people in the shop which meant they were very rushed, and it seemed that once they did start on us (my aunt had her feet sitting in the tub unattended to for over an hour), they just wanted to throw polish on and get us done as soon as possible. The technician filed my nails after verifying that I wanted them to be squared. However, they were very round and very crooked. Then, she didn't bother to clean them up before applying polish. The edges were very rough and small pieces of nail that were still attached were simply painted over, resulting in a very sloppy-looking paint job. My aunt's manicure looks like it was done by a child having a seizure. The polish is uneven and all over her finger tips and cuticles. Completely cringeworthy. When she complained, the technician simply said, "well that's a hard polish to use." ... What? Are you serious? Attempting to finish on a positive note, they did attempt to fix the things we weren't thrilled with. I emphasize the word attempt. I want to say that they tried really really hard. I really think they did. But the reality is, they just aren't that good at nails. But, I like their massage chair and all the wait time let me catch up on a book I've been meaning to read. So there is that.

About a year ago I got my body first Brazilian from Latha and she was so knowledgeable, patient, and good at putting me at ease. It still hurt but that's to be expected after all you're waxing your most sensitive areas. Overall, I was extremely happy with the results and felt like I overcame a fear I had for a long time... I'm in my 40s and this was my first time. Lol.

Unfortunately, the lash lift was not a good experience. I had a significant burning sensation on my eyelid and told the tech multiple times. She reassured me, even when the burning escalated. Afterward, my lashes were overprocessed. My eyelid later became swollen and developed a scab. She did apologize and did not charge me for the lift which I appreciated. She also told me that my eyelashes may have been too short for the lift, but I would have appreciated it if she said that before starting. I would still return for eyebrow threading, but would probably not recommend getting lash lifts here.

I went in today and I didn't really like my eyebrows which is not really a big deal they grow back fast but I felt uncomfortable when another lady came by to see them and they both started talking in a different language and did a little giggle which made me feel uncomfortable and discouraged.
