I came here because I saw they had really good reviews so I wanted to give them a try. The salon was very clean and they were able to see me right away. In the midst of getting my eyebrows done, a lot of people started to walk in and I feel like the tech started out good but rushed at the end. She left my eyebrows uneven, I didn't fully notice until I got in my car, and also left some random hairs that I had to tweeze when I got home. After she waxed, she threaded the rest, but I feel like that didn't really give her the precision needed to leave my eyebrows clean. I paid $20 for an eyebrow wax which I would've been fine with if my eyebrows were perfect and a symmetrical and I didn't have to do anything when I left but I've paid $12 for an eyebrow wax that was much cleaner. The facility was clean, the service was quick, but this will not be a place that I come back to. read more

I have been coming here for years and can attest to their consistent quality in their services. I always come here for eyebrow threading and sometimes a tint. They are quick, easy to get into, reasonably priced. You don't need an appointment and they take walk ins! Parking is easy also read more

This is the only place i'm getting my eyebrows done at! The girls were so friendly and helpful the minute I walked through the door. i came in 20 min before closing, did call to let them know. i got an eyebrow threading done 2 days ago and i noticed when i left the lady had cut my skin. i've never had this experience and maybe it was because it was rushed. there were areas that were not threaded and was still hair. read more

Went in asking for threading, not thin brows and a round shape... and right away, I noticed the woman who was doing my brows look worried. As she was working on them, I noticed there was really no shape and she wasn't brushing the hairs and then trimming them as past eyebrow threaders have. I paid for the service and even gave her a tip which now, I wish I wouldn't of (I hate tipping culture for this reason... you feel guilty for not tipping even when it's bad work). My eyebrows are so important to me! I don't trust them w anyone. It took me so long to find a good place. My eyebrows were looking like little caterpillars so I went to thread brow studio for my eyebrows and upper lip! Yasmin was extremely nice and super thorough w my eyebrows it looks. I went for Black Friday and they had 20% off on their products. See my before and after so you can see my eyebrows for yourself! I also splurged on the facial. They had an acne one and a brightening one. I was speaking to Yasmine during my threading and she told me that they could do a hybrid of both which worked really well for me. THE FACIAL WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. You get placed in a heated bed and they give you a strapless top to wear, take off your shoes and then the facial is super relaxing. What was awesome is that they are putting the product on you face and neck and clavicle area so it was really nice. And they have a bunch of hot towels they put to clean your face.While some of my masks were on my face she also massaged my hands. That facial was $135 for 1 hour Super cute place! GEM! Went in for a small clean up and now my brows are too thin and don't match my face. She was about to start threading and I had to stop her before she started to tell her how I wanted them. She was about to just start doing stuff, which is an absolute no. I stated I wanted a clean up for a little shape, and to leave them thick. I wanted my brows thick! She messed up on the left one and then had to redo the right so it would match. She said she had to make it that way because there was a small empty spot which isn't true. I get them threaded all the time and people shape them accordingly and they turn out pretty. My eyebrows are now thin and ugly, it's very upsetting because I'm about to leave for vacation. I'm not coming back here! read more

This was a routine appointment--my usual services with the addition of a simple eyebrow cleanup. What I walked away with was not only physical damage but an experience so shockingly unprofessional that it has permanently soured my trust in this brand. The so-called "wax specialist" managed to get wax stuck in my hair and proceeded to over-wax one of my eyebrows to the point of it being practically bald. This was the complete opposite of what I clearly requested: a basic, minimal clean-up to maintain my natural shape. The difference between my two brows is glaring--something no competent technician should ever allow to happen. When I expressed my horror and asked to speak to the manager, Victoria Willis, a multi-unit manager, I was flat-out refused. Let me repeat that: A manager refused to speak to a customer who had just received visible, damaging, and unacceptable service at the hands of her staff. I've worked in the corporate world both as an employee and a customer, and never in my life have I witnessed such blatant disregard for customer care or accountability. In what world does a manager hide from a legitimate complaint involving botched services and physical injury? The sheer lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic human decency is appalling. To make matters worse, I had redness, irritation, and inflammation along my brow line and scalp from the wax--documented in the photos attached. No one in leadership offered an apology, or any form of resolution. I was only offered hair growth product AFTER I burst out in tears over this horrific experience and my close to bald brow. In the end, I was dismissed like my experience didn't matter. This location is an embarrassment to the EWC brand. If Victoria Willis is the standard for leadership, it reflects a toxic culture of negligence and cowardice. To the corporate office: Do better. And to other customers--go elsewhere unless you want your appearance and dignity left in shambles.

I have been a lifelong eyebrow threading customer and because of my constant travels, I have…read moreliterally tried dozens of eyebrow threaders to know that they are divided into 3 main categories: (1) amazing ones who deliver consistently good service. These threaders could be fast or slow but they are very good at what they do. The shape always ends up being as good as you could have imagined or even better and they don't tear out your skin to get you the results. 2) are those threaders who appear to know what they are doing and may even do a painless job but the shape leaves you wanting more. They just do a good cleanup but in no way do they try to reshape the brows to achieve the "wow" factor. And finally 3) those are the ones you never ever want to see again. They not only mess up your brows but do so while either causing you pain and/or tearing your skin in the process. I have encountered very few people who fit into #1 and thanks to yelp have also been able to avoid a lot of encounters with #3's as well. Paru I would say falls into the middle of 1 and 2. She is very fast and she does a very painless job. For most of the time, she does deliver a good shape but from others I have tried, I know that the "wow" factor is not always there. I have left with a few pieces of hair that I notice afterwards and that's primarily because of the super fast job she is able to do. So why the 5*'s? In San Antonio, she had so far been my best choice. She is incredibly fast. She has never made me bleed or caused pain. For the most part she did try to work on the shape during the session and she is quite accommodating. If you've never tried threading before, she is definitely a good choice to start with.

I had just…read morehad my second baby three months prior and was really looking forward to my first outing without my kids needing anything from me. With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.
