Cute place, lots to do! Skating was fun and they have a climbing structure too for the kids!

This is a fun place for the whole family. The prices are a little high but overall we enjoy going. We can get pizza and other snacks as well as ice cream!! You can pay extra for kids 10 and under to play on the indoor jungle gym. Having a birthday party here is a breeze! If you do it on a friday or Saturday you don't have to leave at the end of the part you just have to leave the party area which is great having extra time. I don't know of any other place in clarksville that you can stay and not have to pay to continue to have fun!! read more

The place here is not great, I've heard from a lot of friends that if any other skating rink was around here, magic wheels would be out of business. Let's see The skating floor is bumpy, so don't skate on the side of the playground. The way they charge you is difficult. The workers don't want to be there by the looks of it. Like then men referee. You have to pay for water and ice, you can get a few ice cubes if you fall. There are racist folks there. Be aware. Eat before you come there, and from experience- if you fall with roller-skates on with Sadie in your hand, they will look at you funny if you ask for another ketchup. Also the ketchup isn't free as far as I know. There are some nice workers there, like the mixed lady that is usually at the roller skate renting center, or on the floor, and the younger white lady at the front. read more

Pretty cool place but unless you know it's here you'd never see it. Parking and traffic flow one way in front / parking lot so pay attention. They rent skates and roller blades. They have a snack and beverage bar that sells beer. That is a playground for little kids and a few games and prizes you and get for turning in tickets from winning games (think Chucky Cheese). Saturday night at 6:30 and it wasn't too busy. Very reasonable prices. They have storage lockers you can rent. read more

Why am I paying to supervise my kids? Let me explain, my kids are my responsibility, it's my duty to supervise them at all times. I am their parent who is responsible for their actions. We come and go as a FAMILY. We do FAMILY activities together. So if we are going skating or to any establishment that has a risk to it, that requires supervision, we as parents should not have to pay especially if we have body elements that prevents us from participating. So ($5.00) per parent to watch their kids have fun... please explain this to me. This is the only establishment here in Clarksville, but this is no way and not the right way to make a profit from your participants. Solution: No charge for Parental Supervision but maybe ($1.00) off discount when they come. It shows good partnership with patrons and help control their kids. read more

This place is horribly ran from the fact that the skating rink is not a full floor due to the kid jungle gym thing, also the music is not skating music nor up beat also the layout used to be better and now it's just everywhere it's not good!!! This "business" is a joke. First, the point of this is to say DONT spend your money here. You're better off investing in some personal skates with impala skates or moxie. At least you get to use them for as long as you want and in more than one shotty building. The only reason this place gets business is that their the only skate place around here. Boy, are they lucky. Wouldn't take much to put them outta business. All you gotta know is how to run one and take some criticism. My experience today: Today is our uncles birthday, and this is where he insisted on going, we love him, so we sucked it up. upon arrival, we get a less then friendly greeting. Sure, it didn't help my fiance left an unhappy review from the last time he was there (you can scroll to see it) but they gave us a whole speech about how the owners feelings were hurt (cry harder) but they so *graciously* allowed us in this time. How kind of them don't gotta worry about saying anything next time, as there will be no next time. It was also super fun how I had to pay full price for skate rentals when I had my own I'm not even using their skates but I gotta pay for em?? Nah, make this make sense. After getting to the rink or as they call it "the skateboard," I struggled to enjoy myself since free skate apparently means let the kids dominate the floor and give them 0 guidance 0 supervision 0 care. The reff? A whole joke. He didn't move to help anyone nor direct those who are skating in wrong directions, running into people on purpose, and every other problem you might run into. The reff was the ONLY saff member i actually saw watching the rink, so i don't fully blame him, but I do fully blame whoever runs this place. Y'all need to tighten the belt for this business before its ass gets shown. Watching people run into each other and immediately have to leave for medical attention isn't how I describe "family fun" nor watching parents yell at their children for not knowing how to sake, then promptly ditching them on the rink crying and making a whole mess of the rink. When I watched this kid fall apart in fear on the rink, I immediately helped him off and tried to find the parents but couldn't. That isn't family-friendly behavior, yet this family was allowed to stay, galavanting like they owned the place and rink, and it was their personal nannies' place. The floor is something they need to focus on as well. They call it a "skateboard," but it feels more like a "skate raft" with how lumpy and lopsided it was. It also smells so bad, and there's no air flow, so it's just nasty Now I doubt the owners will take responsibility, as I can see, any time they respond to a negative comment, they try to blame the consumers. Consumers wouldn't complain if there wasn't a reason to. Not every review is from a scammer who didn't get their way, but the responses from the owners are scams just like their business. Edit: I'd also like to know why yall enforce the "if you look under 16 you have to have a 21+ guardian" if yall don't even make sure the guardians are actually doing your jobs keeping their kids outta trouble on your rink. read more

The rink is small, and the floor is terrible. You have to pay to get in even if you aren't skating. They've added games and a play area, which has made everything crowded. The place is dingy, and the bathrooms are gross. The poor employees are mistreated and look miserable. Don't waste your money! read more

After one of the children I brought here was trucked by a maniac on the skating rink, I spoke to a "manager" who did absolutely nothing about it. The rules for this place clearly state that this behavior is not allowed on the rink. It's sad because this is the only skating rink in town. Won't be back until they learn to enforce the rules or get a skate boss on the rink. read more

Magic Wheels was amazing growing up. It was affordable, charming, had decent music, and usually wasn't too crowded. Now, tickets are $12 each, making budget friendly family events much less budget friendly compared to their previous $7 admission. It's also lost the charm by shutting down half the rink to put in a hand-me-down McDonald's PlayPlace. Always reeks skating past, and is always ridiculously loud and crowded. The music took a turn as well. Back in like 2010-2016, you could go in with $20 and have a birthday to remember. Now, you're lucky to remember anything other than the cuts of silence in their music cause they can't seem to find anything without profanity every other word. They also increased their max capacity which was already too high, and if you plan to skate at this skating rink, you're better off shoving your $12 in a garbage disposal. read more

Kids loved it. We enjoyed the New Year's Eve balloon drop. Games were cool, lots of prizes. Few critiques but overall cool place. The tiny skating walkers, way to keep track of them, they're one-size-fits-all, & they charge for them. I had to hunt down my kid's like 4x within 3 hrs. People kept taking them and turning them in. I don't think people should charge for those; Safety & quality time of the kids should be standard with admission. Also the playground is for 10 & under only, leaving older kids disappointed. Pretty sure peices of the drop ceiling we're falling on me at one point by the DJ booth. I got a face-full lol.The folks were super nice here, & the kids enjoyed it. We'll be back. read more

I was thinking this place would be so inclusive and understandable... It definitely is not. If you have a special needs child or family, think again. We were told the wheelchair would be allowed if someone was pushing him, then got told no he couldn't be out there. Then got told he could go only on the outside. This place is ridiculous. Not just that the bag policy is a joke. Some were allowed and some weren't. My kid has a lot of eating issues, so we bring everything with us. He can't drink from a cup or straw so we have special utensils, everything. They weren't gonna allow those even. Won't be going here again. And if anyone else has any thoughts of going get every answer documented just so everyone is on the same page. It was so disheartening. read more

Friendly staff, wonderful indoor playground structure, a small amount of arcade games, and a decent sized rink. I brought my boys (7 & 1) here on a Homeschool day for the first (and only) time in October 2017. On homeschool days, they have reduced prices. So I bought a playground ticket for my 1 year old and a combined skate/playground ticket for my 7 year old, which included skate rentals. I had brought my stroller for my 1 year old to sit in when I didn't want to chase him. They would have let me in through a side door since the wheels were too large for the main entrance door. But I closed it up and carried it through because I was holding up the line. My 7 year old didn't care much for skating and spent majority of the couple hours in the playground. The playground is made of what feels like bungee-seat belt material. I spent some time inside with my 1 year old. He had a blast! Plenty of seating near the concessions and playground, with visibility of most of the skate rink, too. There's a few TV's playing sports in this area as well. The concessions stand isn't worth the money. The food was all frozen and then thawed when ordered, making it take way longer than it needed to be. We got chicken fingers, nachos and a drink. Nachos we're probably the only decent thing because the chips were pre-bagged and i don't think the cheese was warmed. However, it took just as long to get that as it did the frozen chicken fingers. The music is somewhat up to date with the times, and the DJ did keep them busy with games. I'd bring them back here just for the playground itself, and that alone. read more

This place has a parent policy where if there's no one 18+ there with you, you can't have fun you are left there disappointed and your parents drove all the way out there for nothing or your parents can't stay because they get migraines from flashing lights or bright lights you need to change this right now so kids can go and have fun and not have the parent sitting there when they could be doing things at home you know why you ain't got not as much customers as Rainbow is because of this parent policy there kids can't be dropped off this needs to be changed if people agree with me just repost this to Magic Wheels Maybe they can take this policy away and more kids can come and have fun and parents can go home instead of waste their time sitting there and doing nothing there plz and thank you read more

Booked a birthday party here for my 4 year old. Was called 2 days ahead to confirm party which is when I said we'd have decorations/balloons. When we arrived to set up we started blowing up balloons after about 7 balloons were told we can't have non helium balloons and we need to let the air out. Okay maybe understandable. Then when we start letting the air out "please don't pop the balloons"???? They make sure you don't have candy in goody bags. Staff member was mad because SHE brought a hot pizza on a metal pan with plastic gloves on. There was one staff member in particular who was horribleI believe her name was Athena she had blue hair in the back and a lip piercing. I even watched her tell a man he couldn't hold his crying daughter! Which at first I thought it was cause they may have had on skates but neither of them had skates on! We've been there a few times and it's alright. It has a lot of potential and the owners are quite friendly, you can tell they are trying to update as much as they can. They introduced the jungle gym in there which is a great thing for the kids to play in. My only complaint is that the food. The attendant there was getting really confused about a simple order, the food took forever to make, and the food was not worth the price. I got a burger and fries, my burger was ok but the fries were not done at all. If you are going to charge almost $3 for a small thing of fries they should at least be cooked correctly. If you go eat beforehand is all I'm saying you will spend way too much money on cheap/improperly cooked food. We will go back because it's not terrible and it's one of the few places for kids in Clarksville. read more

I read all of the reviews prior to going, and I admit, I was hesitant, especially with ALL of the claims of racist behavior. However, this is the only skating rink in town and we love to skate, so we gave them a chance. I can honestly say, I NEVER experienced racism. I saw several black people there that said they regularly skate there. The staff treated me, my daughter and visiting friends extremely well and the music was good. I wanted to leave this review because I don't want others to think the bad reviews from years ago is how they will be treated now. AT LEAST I can saw WE were treated Very well and we plan on skating here weekly.‍ read more

I used Magic Wheels on June 4th as well as on June18th they were very professional, and on time. Their prices are very reasonable and I'd certainly use them again, I also informed my friends and family that it's less stressful than driving into Logan yourself. This is probably the worst roller skating place I've ever been to. The floors are very uneven,bumpy, and rough. there referees are rude. They played disney movie songs instead of actual music. read more

This place is poorly managed. My son initially wanted to skate so I purchased a pick 3 for him and just the attraction (old climbing thing) for my daughter...well my son ended up not wanting to skate so I asked them if I could switch his skate time/rental to my daughter and was denied (I was told well should have picked it for my daughter in the beginning no switches). I paid for her skate time although my son never used his and an additional price to use the skate assistance pvc pole thing(they charge that by the hour as well)...they charge for tap water because my kids did not drink the soda they offered with the pizza combo. 2 drink beer limit which is fine but they lack customer service & make you feel like you are quite literally bothering them with your presence. My daughter is 3 and ripped off her little paper band and I was told it would not be replaced and she could not go on the climbing attraction unless I tied it back on her little wrist. I went to a birthday party earlier in the year here & thought maybe it was a bad night but the treatment is consistent. I spent over $75 easily & will never waste another dollar at such a rude and mismanaged establishment again. It was a Thursday night so it wasn't busy, I keep trying to come up with a reason on why everyone in this place has such an uninviting presence but I can't think of any reason to make customers feel this way. I did have a conversation with an older lady working in concessions and asked her if she was in a bad mood and she did confess that she had been next to the hot pizza maker all night and was very hot and tired. Which is understandable but experiencing the rude ladies at the front was just enough for me to advise everyone to please not waste your $$$ at a place like this. read more

Was a little skeptical about the place. When I pulled into the parking lot I thought this place was abandoned even with a full parking lot and would not have thought other wise if I hadn't pulled up to the front door and noticed the lights on. I said "if this place was a dump I would try a different place". I was a little relieved once we got inside because it looked better than expected. Took my kids to Magic Wheels Saturday Feb 9, 2013. We hadn't been in almost a year and they've been bugging me to go skating. I was pretty disappointed (and surprised) at how rundown the rink has become in such a short time. The floors do not have the plastic roll-on that pretty much every other rink in America has so they look pretty worn. They just had them redone about a year ago. The rubber baseboards around the skating floor are missing in some places and so loose in others that little kids who hug the wall actually knocked them loose while skating by. The bathrooms! NASTY! Are there rules? I don't know because I did not see any rules enforced. There are no floor guards so you have kids skating the wrong way, running into people who aren't able to move fast enough and people actually texting while skating. Every rink I have ever been to would have put a stop to that right away because it is a safety hazard. Most of the time you cannot understand what the "dj" is saying. When someone finally shows up at the snack bar (about 30 minutes into the session) there is only one person who is very slow creating a minimum 30 minute wait for those who decide to wait in line. This is no exaggeration, my friend waited 35 minutes to buy 4 icees. The carpet is so dirty my shoe actually stuck to the floor. DISGUSTING! The whole place has the appearance of a rink that is getting ready to shut down so the owners don't want to make repairs. The manager needs to be someone with a skating background so the rink can be run properly. OR the owners need to pay attention to what is happening in their business. read more
