The food is always delicious and exceeds any normal pizza shop expectations. The orders are always correct. I've tried sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, pasta dishes, salads, and I've yet to find a disappointing meal. The people behind the counter are always friendly and attentive even when they are slammed with orders. Always clean inside. Oh yeah, and the price is unbeatable. I'm not usually one to leave a review or rave about takeout food but this local business deserves all the hype. Very thankful to have it in a small town.

I have ordered everything from appetizers, salads, hot and cold grinders, pizza to standard dinner meals. I have not once, I repeat, not ONCE, been disappointed with any item I have ordered from their extensive menu. Their meat lovers pizza is to die for! Absolutely loaded with the various types of meats. So much so that you can barely see the cheese/sauce. Their buffalo chicken pizza is a spicy pizza lovers delight! Their salads are fresh, crisp, and again fully loaded with lettuce, vegetables, meats and cheeses. Barre Pizza's hot and cold grinders, just as their salads and pizzas, are loaded with meats, cheeses, and whatever vegetables you request. The appetizers from fries to onion rings to their specialties like fried pickles are far and above any restaurant I have ever seen. On a side note, as a Mainer born and bred, Barre Pizza carries Moxie soda, which for me, as a Moxie lover is OUTSTANDING! In addition to all of the above mentioned points, is their prices! Barre Pizza's prices are, for the amount and quality of the food they serve, is beyond a good deal. It's EPIC! Their staff and owners are all friendly, efficient and better than any restaurant I have ever visited. They are FAST too! I have never had to wait for more than 20 minutes for any order I have ever placed with them, even at some of their busiest times of day and day of the week. I strongly encourage locals as well as visitors from away, if you are looking for the best meal you could ask for and the best bang for your buck, Barre Pizza should be your next destination for high quality, delicious, belly filling, rib-sticking food you could ever eat! Pizza Palace exceeded our expectations from day 1. We've probably ordered from here at least a dozen times (don't judge me...) and every single time has been delicious. Their large subs are generously filled (unlike that popular green logo chain sub place whose bread is the width of a #2 pencil... but I digress). We're also huge fans of their pizza which is very reasonably priced. Everyone is super friendly and they even have a "pizza club" card where you get a free pizza once you've purchased 9. I had to drive through petersham in my travels- not a typical route or regular drive but alas I actually passed this store, noticing the OPEN flag , I slammed a U turn to get a sharply needed caffeine boost and found myself in the most delightful spot in a seemingly desolate places when I say I walked in the door and it felt like - a waiting room to heaven door opened as a really beautifully laid out l, store, restaurant, local craft gallery and mini grocery market was laid out instantly as I floated in here. I took as many photos as a Middle Aged woman is permitted to take without looking like a fool - see the photos- while I waited for my turkey club sandwich on French (highly recommend) and loved every second of it. Ok so we have wonderful local and specialty wines beer, cheeses , pantry items , extremely micro vendors of local sauces, dressings, drinks and a lot more in the refrigerators and a ton of CUTE and adorable hand made functional art and crafts - including these "blind dates with a book" that instant stole my heart (see pics) and made me want to move down the road from this place. Sandwich was lovely exactly what you'd expect from a cute country store and deli but just elevated - and welcomed very much to my stressed and dulled palette To top off off I had probably the best service ever at the counter - like truly inspired me to have a better day every though I have to say it didn't get much better but I can say with confidence my visit to petersham country store was the highlight of my day and I cannot wait to come back and bring a friend for a relaxing morning of books, shopping and coffee here . Ordered three pizzas but we only received two. Would've waited for them to make the third pizza, but it took ten minutes longer than their quote to even make the two pizzas. The pizzas were small for "large" pizzas, undercooked, and just not good. Most of them got thrown away. Also the clam cakes were pretty good, but had a piece of brown paper bag or paper towel cooked into one of them.
