Veggie and meat/onions pizza
Michele G.

Really yummy food and for a very affordable price. Ordered for a large group of people and was able to get food relatively quick for an affordable price. We had a variety of dishes from lasagna to penne Al vodka to various types of pizza. Everything was excellent and I really enjoyed to food. Very quick and tasty

I have gotten pizza and steak and cheese subs from this place. Both were delicious. Worth checking out it if you have not.

New to the area and trying different places in the not-too-distant surrounding towns. This is the best pizza place so far. We'll be back!

Friends ordered the salmon and mushroom ravioli and both really enjoyed their meals. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Not much to look at from outside nestled in a tight residential neighborhood with limited street parking but complimentary valet service. Going inside of the restaurant ,however, the space is much more upscale and very nice. Prices were what I would expect for an upscale menu of this quality with most entrees between $25 and $40. I look forward to returning!

Mare E Monti - Exceptional Authentic Italian & Seafood Pasta Spot in Worcester, MA…read more Mare E Monti is an exceptional Italian gem -- probably home to the best seafood pasta I've ever had. I was in town ahead of a half marathon near Hampton Beach on Sunday. After a long drive and a surprise call that my extended family was touring the East Coast nearby, we decided to meet halfway -- and Worcester made perfect sense. I booked a table for eight at 8 PM on Saturday. We miscounted our party, which led to about a 45-minute wait, but honestly, that just gave us more time to catch up. The interior strikes a lovely balance -- rustic yet modern, cozy yet romantic, and unmistakably Italian in feel. Starters We kicked off with two plates of Calamari Fritti -- classic native calamari, lightly fried and tossed with cherry peppers and a delicate butter sauce. Absolutely delicious; I had to restrain myself from finishing the whole plate. Complimentary garlic bread with olive oil was also served, and I stopped myself at 2-3 slices to save room for the race-fueling carbs to come. For salad, I chose the Insalata Casalinga -- crisp field greens, grape tomatoes, julienne carrots, cucumbers, red onion, and imported olives in a light vinaigrette. Simple, fresh, and highly recommended. The Main Event The real reason I chose Mare E Monti was simple: carb loading. I went with the Pasta con Cozze e Fagioli -- sautéed mussels in a garlic white wine sauce with diced tomatoes and cannellini beans, tossed with linguine. It was everything I'd hoped for: flavorful yet light, satisfying without being heavy. The mussels were tender, the beans added substance, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Others at the table tried the Ravioli di Aragosta (lobster ravioli) on my recommendation. I snagged a bite -- and it was heavenly. Rich, delicate, and beautifully balanced. Final Thoughts Dinner here was the perfect pre-race meal -- nourishing without weighing me down. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service attentive, and the food consistently excellent. Even parking was simple; I found easy street parking just around the corner (though valet is also available). Oh, and the next morning? I ran a personal best in my half marathon -- just over 1 hour and 20 minutes. I'd like to think the perfect plate of pasta helped fuel that finish. All in all, Mare E Monti is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine and standout seafood pasta in the Worcester area. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in Massachusetts. (Apr 2026) For dinner, we had a baby-spinach salad with crushed walnuts, moist dried cranberries, crumbled gorgonzola, and sweet zingy raspberry vinaigrette. And rich tender spinach, basil, and tomato tortellini, in a creamy garlic sauce. Their Mussels Fra-Diavlo were fresh tender and juicy, sauteed in garlic olive oil, with crushed red peppers and rich Pomodoro sauce. We loved their brightly-flavored chicken piccata, pan-sautéed in light fresh-tasting olive oil, with white-wine lemon-butter sauce, tasty little capers, and melt-in-your-mouth artichoke hearts. Served over creamy risotto. So good! Our server, Maybelline is the nicest best ever, with a great sense of humor. We were happy to see Dario's busy in the early evening on a Friday (Apr 2026). Their dishes are so good, each perfectly prepared and delicious. They rival any we've had in that big Olde Towne on the harbor :-). We hope that Dario's Ristorante is part of a resurgence of good food spots in this part of town.

It got very loud with everyone talking on top of the 70s/80s music that was playing. There were ample staff to keep up with the surge, and our waitress was attentive and pleasant, although toward the end a little scattered. The decor is fun, if not a bit dated. Bathrooms are clean. We ordered a garlic bread appetizer which provided 8 pieces of bread. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, chicken Parmesan sandwich, chicken Parmesan with pasta, and chicken Olympia. I had a bowl of flavorful minestrone before my dinner, my spouse had a house salad. Unfortunately my coffee was cold, but it was bold and tasted okay. They don't list non-alcoholic beverages on the menu or their prices. My spouse ordered just a plain iced tea, but we were shocked when the bill came and we were charged for each of the refills ($10.50!). My daughter ordered a lemonade, which came in a cute branded bottle. It was very good, not too tart or sweet. After dinner, we each ordered dessert: Choco cake which has a cute little mouse on top, the orange revani which was extremely sweet, and the limoncello cake which was by far the best of the three with a delicate flavor. The servings of food were generous and we were impressed with the quality, especially the chicken. We could easily cut through it with a fork. The sauces were pleasant and not acidic. For the four of our meals (with leftovers) and the tip (and the insane charges for the iced tea) we paid $197, which I felt was somewhat reasonable. I just wish they were more upfront about their beverage prices and refill policy. Most restaurants don't charge for tea and coffee refills.
