This is probably Apopka' best park - there's a large, modern, shaded, fenced playv area with things for younger and older kids. There's a lake with a dock, and plenty of green space and covered pavilion areas. There is also another park space across the street with another kid's play area. That one is an oldet style, but still nice and well-kept. There are tons of pavilions and grilling areas with nearby parking. You can really have your own space here. Overall, very nice park with all the bells and whistles. read more

My son and I came across this beautiful little gem of a park while looking through the map on the lake Apopka wildlife Drive pamphlet. We decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! Boy, did we not expect to see what we saw! Peacocks! Just living their lives amongst this beautiful serene park. Just make sure to respect the wildlife here, as well as anywhere else. I did not approach the peacocks, I waited for the peacocks to approach me at a safe distance. This park is quiet, beautiful, relaxing, and fully equipped with playground equipment for all ages. It also has a volleyball court and nice pavilions that you can rent out and barbecue at. There are even campgrounds out here on the property. There are so many things that you can do here in this beautiful little oasis of a place. Come take advantage of all that you can see and do! Take my word for it. How did I not know about this park before? Magnolia Park has EVERYTHING from several different playgrounds, tables, places to have birthday parties, basketball court, volleyball court, and even a campground. It's such a nice park to have a get together or even to just walk around. I can't wait to come back and explore this park more! read more

We absolutely loved this campground! We got there before they closed the gates so we were able to meet the office staff and get some information on the springs before settling in to our camp. Our camp was more than spacious, had running water and an electrical outlet. The bathrooms/showers were clean and pristine and for a germaphobe like me, clean bathroom without smell is imperative to me. I felt comfortable taking a shower in the bathroom and the hot water didn't run out. The only warning would be: the mosquitoes. Bring a mesh tent or cover to ensure a peaceful evening otherwise the fly sized mosquitos will literally attack you. All in all, we can't wait to camp here again! read more

A very cool park in Apopka, Florida. I really liked the layout of the park and the peaceful vibe overall. This is a great place to come and take a moment to breathe and feel whole again. This is a really cute park. I come here with my kids quite a bit, as they enjoy the different playgrounds. All in all, there are about 6 different play areas to chose from. They all are for different age groups. There are slides, swings, zip lines and climbing walls. The park also has a bike path and pavilions with bbqs to reserve for parties. There are even 2 resident peacocks roaming around. read more

What a wonderful find! We stayed only one night, wish we had more time! There are only 18 sites, but they are all nicely spaced, come with water and electric plus there is a dump site available at no extra charge. Our cell phones got 4 bars/5G so we did not miss WiFi. Everything was beautifully shaded, clean, and quiet. If your travel takes you near Apopka, this is a lovely stopping point. Six star worthy! Especially for the price: less than $20/night. read more

This is a great park which gives you access to Lake Apopka on one side, and to a series of playground and campsites on the other side of the road. It's really quite a lovely park but my one big caution here is that the mosquitoes here are particularly viscous and all of us ended up cutting short our planned walk as we kept getting bitten! I also wouldn't recommend fishing here either - its a very polluted lake that the County/ State has been trying to rehabilitate rather unsuccessfully for some years now. This county park is one of my favorite parks. The have several large pavilions and playgrounds. The park is built around a large open field and has plenty of room for large parties. The park is heavily wooded so on hot days the shade makes it bearable to be outside. This park is well maintained and very clean. Magnolia Park also has a few camp sites with electric and water. The sites are big with plenty of shade. Reservations can be made 45 days out. The restroom for campers is large, modern and very clean. There is no entrance fee for day users. Across the street is Lake Apopka, here you will find amazing sunsets and great fishing. This park is a about 20-25 minutes from Disney. read more

Came here to do tent camping with a large group of friends and family. The park itself is beautiful. There is a small lake in the middle with field area around it. They have multiple playgrounds, volleyball court, basketball court, facilities with showers and toilets, tetherball, swings-basically a lot to do. We rode bikes around the park. There are trails too. The rv/camp sites have electricity and water hookups. The sites also have a picnic table and fire pit. You can park right next to your site which is so convenient. The bathrooms were kept up fot the most park. We were there with a large group camping, and it seemed there were some other larger groups too,so once it got later in the evening sometimes the bathrooms would run out of papertowels. We were a little concerned about wildlife, but the worst animal we saw was a cat and some peacocks. The mosquitos on the other hand were vicious. I mean everyone was bitten from head to toe. The repellent we had, which was a lot and deet strong, just couldnt do it. I don't think I could handle that again. Go when it isn't mosquito season. Overall a great place to spend the day, enjoy some nature, or even host a party on one of the pavilions. Very pretty area, and shaded. read more

This is a large, beautiful Orange County park located in west Apopka on Lake Apopka. The park is divided by busy Binion road and features a boat ramp on its west side and plenty of green space on the east side of Binion. I spent one lovely spring day here picnicking and playing with my children. There are plenty of huge oaks and magnolias that provide ample shade around an open green space that looks like a dry pond. There are several decent sized playgrounds, pavilions, tether ball, picnic tables, grills, walking trails, volleyball and even nearby camping. As for accessing Lake Apopka- since its one of the most polluted lakes in the state I wouldn't advise touching the water or eating the fish. Officials are trying to revive the lake but its a long process and will still be many years before the lake is fully usable. read more

This is a beautiful and natural park. It offers three playgrounds and many picnic tables and benches. It's very scenic and it is located across from Apopka Lake which it's a part of the park. You can see wild life from time to time and peacocks are everywhere in the park. The walk around the park is nice and easy with plenty of shade which is a must in Florida's weather and sun. The park does close at sundown. The park is clean and maintained but the bathrooms sometimes need some more effort, overall they are in a good condition. Also for the parents with small children will need more benches that directly sit across from the playgrounds so the parents can sit and watch their children while they play. read more
