When I tried them on, I voiced my skeptacism and that they were no better than my old glasses which were nearly 4 years old. I agreed to give them a try. Over next months, I went back twice to express my dissatisfaction and each time my concerns were dismissed and I was told there was nothing they could do. After getting tired of carrying around multiple pairs of reading glasses of various powers so I could actually see clearly, I sent my progressive lens prescription to Warby Parker. In less than a week to send me a brand new pair of glasses for less than half of what Vision Source had charged me. When I tried on the WarbyParker glasses I was immediatly shocked about the increased clarity at distance and up close. The fact that the Warby Parker glasses were so much better using the same prescription that Vision Source provided me, tells me that whoever Vision Source used to make my glasses produced a substandard product and Vision Source Magnilia does not stand behind their product. My daughter is also miserable with wires sticking out. They changed the treatment plan for both my kids the day of the appointment as well as the child before us. The office was slammed and they were pushing kids in and out as fast as possible. They literally handed my son 2 pieces of oral wax with their hands, no case, nothing - dirty wax that was handled by multiple people, to put in his mouth. My son has a loose bracket 2 hours after getting braces put on when he hasn't even eaten anything. I am so angry we chose them for braces. Avoid at all costs. Update: We went to a board certified orthodontist for a second opinion after this disaster. In my daughter's mouth, they didn't put the wire through a bracket, they tucked it underneath a bracket which was pushing up on her tooth - part of her tremendous pain. In my son's mouth, not only did they not put a bracket on the back tooth, they left a wire half an inch long sticking into his cheek. They did not seal the brackets so he lost 3 brackets by 4 days later. They were sliding on the wire. I have never seen a more negligent dentist in my life. The office manager Alicia has lied about speaking with us and the amount of money we paid for this negligence. She refuses to refund anything even though we had to start over from scratch at another dentist. This is malpractice and negligence on the part of the dentist and Alicia who is supposed to be the office manager.

We had a last minute need for an eye exam and by chance my husband found Glimpse. I'm glad he did…read morebecause this was one of the best experiences I had at an optometrist. It has been hard to find one in the Houston area and I'm glad we found it. We came in for my husband's exam, but ended up getting a new set of glasses for my daughter. They had these cute glasses for kids with cat ears and since they were so great with my husband I decided to get her another pair of glasses. Dr Chen was knowledgeable, pleasant and I could tell he was focused on the customer experience. He took time to double check her current prescription and make sure everything was perfect instead of just rushing the process. There was also someone at the front desk that helped adjust my daughter's glasses and she was very helpful. She showed my kid how to properly take off her glasses and shared what kind of frames she should get next time so they do not slide down her face. I appreciated the time she took to do this. The office is in the Woodlands and I live in Cypress. Even though it is far, I will return for my own exam and glasses.

First, I was charged an additional fee that was not covered by my insurance, but no one informed me about the extra charge beforehand or asked for my approval. In my experience, if there is an additional charge for a service that insurance does not cover, the patient should be informed in advance and given the opportunity to approve or decline the service. More concerningly, they took my glasses to measure the prescription. When my glasses were returned to me, I noticed a very noticeable scratch on the right lens and two lighter scratches on the left lens. I immediately pointed this out, but they denied that the damage had occurred while they were handling my glasses. Every time I went out of the house I cleaned my glasses and inspected them carefully, there were no scratches there before. For the first time in my nearly 40 years of wearing glasses, my glasses were scratched by an eye care provider. Although I ordered these glasses last year, they had been kept in their case because I was still wearing my other old glasses. I have only been wearing this pair for about two or three months, and they are still relatively new because I am a very careful person when it comes to my glasses. Because these are rimless glasses, I take extra care when handling and cleaning them. I paid approximately $400 out of pocket after insurance for these glasses, which have progressive, high-index 1.67 lenses. I'm very upset and saddened by how this situation was handled. I'm considering seeking help to determine what consumer or regulatory remedies may be available. I will not be returning to Glimpse Eye Care. They have lost my family's business.
