Great place! The…read morecurrent owners (a husband and a wife) recently acquired this location. They have worked in this business for a long time and they just purchased the store 2 months ago, but the store itself has been present for over 25 years. The layout is very nice and open. They have a nice selection of wines that you can make. You have to bring your own bottles and labels when you bottle, but the shrinks and the corks are included in the price. It was the first time that I bottled wine, so here's a rundown of my experience. 1. Sanitize the bottles in a big machine. Prepare a loonie (1$), since the machine requires one to work. 2. Putting the wine in the bottles. The store owners do it for you, so no worries here. 3. Corking. You can do it or they can do it for you. It's quite fun to do! If your bottles are too short, you may have to use the manual corker, which seemed like more work. 4. Heat up the shrinks in a little hot machine. Super fun, super easy. Pro tip: push the bottles all the way to the end so that the shrinks don't get crinkled up at the top Overall, super quick and super fun. I only met one of the owners and she was incredibly nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back to make some more wine! PS. They also have a bunch of little knickknacks for the wine lover in your life

Nora also has cider kits, which we made - it was an excellent summer drink. She has beer kits, chocolates, lovely tea, jams and jewellery. It is worth a visit to the store, there is something for everyone. The store is located at the Rideau Plaza on Gore Road, Kingston.

Brunch review. I may have came with high expectations because so many people had mentioned this…read moreplace, and it is in such a beautiful location, but we left pretty disappointed. First off, their website is odd. Not much information, quite confusing, sometimes it won't even load (on mobile device), so if you're trying to make a reservation, call them directly. Location, beautiful, along the river, great outdoor seating. I'm sure dinner and sunset is stunning. Good, it was okay. We ordered kids breakfast, huevos rancheros skillet thing, chicken and waffles, biscuit and gravy, and the whisky flight. The huevos ranchero was good, nothing to rave over but good. The chicken and waffles didn't come with syrup at first, I'm sure it was a mistake. The biscuit and gravy... looked amazing, but the biscuits were hard. Like rock hard, and even after sitting in the gravy, no moisture would come back. Haha Service... the lady was so sweet, but she kept forgetting us, she would place hot things right in front of the baby where she would easily grab it. She had a hard time splitting the bill. Ultimately we had to ask another waitress for water refill and splitting our bill. Maybe we will go back... but not in a rush.

Last summer (2024) we went up to find they were not serving meals. Their chef left, they couldn't get servers... I'd check in before you go or ask at their place in Clayton. I was under the impression it's drinks only.
