Stunning views in the lakefront, outdoor seating area. Not super crowded but they do run a wine boat tour so the place does get a bit busy for a half-hour leading up to the tour departure. We tried the River Run Rosé which was light, crisp, and sweet. The baba ganoush was creamy, savory, and sweet. The whipped goat cheese dip had a light texture and definitely on the sweeter side due to the honey. Roast beef in the roast beef sandwich was juicy. read more

Walked in with a large group, 16 people, so it was a bit overwhelming for the staff I'm sure. A lot of us are current or former restaurant staff, we understood that. There were 4 people working and the place was nearly empty when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. First off, the manager with the bandanna and the leg cuff rolled her eyes and said "they didn't listen" when we migrated into the tasting bar, and hearded us into seats. She continued to talk about us within earshot. Off-putting that back of house talk was happening in the floor, we are not stupid. We paid for wine slushies all around and two charcuterie boards to start, and the boards were combined, and came with crackers in sleeves. The olives came with pits and no bowl for the waste. It was a 12x6 plate with meat and cheese on it for 80 dollars, just not a good value. A patron came up to us and told us that he wanted to buy us drinks and the bandana lady said "no they're leaving soon" and wouldn't let him. She had no reason to assume when we were leaving? That woman was so rude, we spoke with another group of people wanting to go in outside and they turned and left. Then three more groups of people in town spoke with by us about going there, and we recommended against it. What gives, they weren't busy and they were serving cheese and crackers, no need to be rude to a group of people wanting to spend money in your establishment. Really disappointing to have a great day overshadowed by such a crappy experience. read more

Stopped in while on vacation. Funny, we all ordered beer. The guys had IPA's and I got the Pyramid Apricot. We sat on the deck overlooking the St. Lawrence River. After a while the sun really got to me so I headed indoor to sit on a cozy chair facing a small empty performance stage. Noticed it was warm in here too, but at least the sun wants scorching me. A served stopped by to check on me and I asked about the AC. She said the basement got flooded in the spring and ruing the AC and their storage area. Then she kindly offered to bring "samples". She brought a peach salsa, a hot pepper jelly, bbq sauce, and cheese cake. What a god-sent she was! My husband ended up doing some x-mas shopping while he was here. Buy one, get two free on the wine bbq sauce. He also bought my mother-in-law a Moscato wine she was raving about. Looks like it will be a Coyote Moon Christmas for everyone! LOL read more

We were torn between going to the vineyard or staying by the river, and I'm so glad we stuck to the Riverside Drive location! My friend and I came in for a tasting and fell in love with so many that we each bought two bottles. Our tasting guide, Mac, was incredible. Very knowledgeable and friendly, and encouraged us to try things we haven't had before. I ended up trying the port and surprisingly loved it and bought it to bring it home with me. My review is based mainly on our server Pim, she was just so bubbly. The tasting room was very busy and she was alone in the service of wine and drinks. She continued to smile and make everyone feel as if they were the blue ones in the tasting room. Ashley, was awesome. She couldn't do enough for the patrons as she prepared and served the guests their food orders. The view was spectacular, the service matched. I will definitely return when in the area. This happens to be one of my favorite wineries in the Thousand Islands Region. Whenever we are in Clayton, we have to stop in for a tasting and some snacks. This last trip we bought a wine opener, cork, and a pink camo baseball cap too! All for a reasonable price too! When I was in for a tasting one time, the ladies turned me onto a combination of their Muscato and their Razzle Dazzle. It is AMAZING. One time when I was in the store I bought their homemade pasta and pasta sauce and paired it with the matching wine. I made it for dinner and it was heavenly! This wine tasting room has a great vibe and great workers. Always stop in for a sip! read more

While on vacation in the Thousand Islands, my family visited 4 vineyards and while they were all great, this one was the best. So many delicious, award-winning wines. Make sure to try the Casa Papa Red! Heather was wonderful in teaching us about all the wines and answering our questions. After the tasting, be sure to check out all the store for other delicious foods and products. The salsas were great! Finally Coyote Moon hosts a lot of events, so check your calendars in advance. Unfortunately Coyote Moon was one of our last stops, but the summer flea market on Sundays sounded great. read more

Big fan of this great spot right on the main channel of the St. Lawrence. Nothing beats buying a bottle (or two) of the locally-made wine, ordering a bite to eat, and sitting outside watching the sunset over the river. Good service, good food, good wine, great location. Went to Coyote Moon yesterday on a whim while staying with friends up there. Was greeted and asked if we needed assistance by an employee named Casey, I told him I was interested in the sampling. We go to the St Lawrence every year with many family and friends. Every year we head into town to do a wine tasting together and we order cheese platters because that's the only food available there. Every year we have gone there I question why I go back. The employees that do the wine tasting have never been overly friendly and just seem bothered by our presents. This year was different the woman at the wine tasting had an accent and was very welcoming and explained everything to us. We decided to go out on the very small deck and ordered two large cheese platters and many drinks totaling 140.00. My husband had a wine slushy and innocently allowed my 17 year old son and his girlfriend to have a sip(they have more wine at communion). It was wrong and should not have been allowed. We could have walked out with the slushy and given them a sip on the sidewalk in front of the police officer and that would have been perfectly legal. A woman came flying out on the deck and demanded IDs and then kicked us out. After we spent 140.00 on cheese crackers and wine. We were finished anyways and I think she overreacted a bit, but I do take responsibility for the situation. I just think there is a way you talk to people. I think she just wanted the very small deck cleared off because it was getting busy. Now I know for sure I won't be going back there. read more

When to vineyard to pick up a case I ordered over the phone (received Fireboat previously as a gift) and decide to taste other wines while there. Oh server Cara was awesome! She is extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and was extremely friendly making our tasting even more enjoyable. At and of tasting, I purchased a second case.
