I tried to get him in the grass but he wasn't budging. ultimately it end up on the side walk. when entering the building I waited at the front desk to let the staff know of the incident. while checking my dog in and letting the staff know, Bonnie asked if I wanted to clean it up, I replied I didn't mind I could do that. She pointed to a roll of paper towels . I replied I can't use that it was a little soft she then pointed at some plastic bags... Ok no problem! that would work! I figured I would get him checked in and when they took him back I would gladly clean up his mess. We all know how chaotic a vet waiting room can be. After asking our name and pets name and getting him checked in. Bonnie then said not to worry about it she would get "one of the girls to clean it." I asked repeatedly are you sure I don't mind picking it up? Fast-forward 10 minutes another patient came in. She was trying to let the staff know about the mess on the sidewalk. I smiled and replied I let them know, it was my dog. Sorry about that. I was sitting in the middle part of the waiting room behind the wall, when Amanda (receptionist) made the comment "why do people do that, like come on. why do People let their dog poop right there." After hearing her rude comment about "us people" I peaked around the wall and politely told the staff that it was my dog, and I offered to clean it up. And how I thought that was very unprofessional.

Great services all around...daycare, boarding and grooming. Our dogs come home exhausted from playing so much in a day. Prices are very reasonable and the accommodations are more than ample for all canines. This is an example of some recent amazing care. I was just on vacation for over a week in Europe, with limited ability to communicate with anyone back home. Well the day we leave, one dog gets sick and is in the vet trying to figure out what is wrong, ends up on a special diet and meds. I talked it over with Melissa and she said bring him in anyway..."we got this". Over the course of out trip we got daily reports on our pup and when we got home he was doing much better and was on the mend... Now totally fine. Having that piece of mind while away was great this is just one of the many examples of how great they are. I've had 3 dogs who call this place home away from home and half the time they jump out of the car and kick down the doors to get back in. And 2 of these dogs have been going since they were 8 weeks old.

The ranch has a lot of land and indoor and outdoor spaces and is on the owners property, so they are able to tend to the dogs frequently. In our experience, they treated our dogs as their own and they had a great time- they were excited to go back after their trial day- which was not the case with another daycare we went to in the area. We are always nervous about bringing our Husky where other dogs are present because he has historically had bad interactions with other dogs but Mike was great with managing his needs and let our Husky be around one of the more docile dogs that him and Misty own and it went just fine. Our dogs had a great experience. They got their nails trimmed during their stay as well. We had a great experience all around and will definitely be bringing our boys back!

If I could give Misty Fields Pet Resort zero stars, I would. They lost my dog before she even got…read moreinside. I caught her two days later at a freeway rest area. She managed to cross the freeway without getting hit.  My sister's dog was staying, too. When we dropped them off, Mike met us in the front yard. We offered to bring them inside, but he refused.  There is a horse fence around most of the yard, which is nothing for my little dog.  We hadn't gotten back home before Mike called to say she had gotten away and they needed my help catching her. By the time we got back, they had no idea where she was.  When Mike had tried to take her in, she had been startled by another dog and slipped her collar. She hung around in the yard until Misty grabbed her, then she "screamed", Misty let go, and she ran.  Misty never even talked to me. She stopped looking hours before the rest of us. Mike did drive around for quite a while the first day, but not as long as the family and friends that came to help.  We searched for about 5 hours the first day. It was raining and then snowing. We were all in spring jackets, without hats or gloves. Misty and Mike did not offer to let us in to warm up, or use the bathroom.  They didn't contact us on our second or third day of searching. My sister sent them a text in the late afternoon on the second day to let them know that we were still searching and another text in the late afternoon on the third day to let them know that we found her.

Our lab was miserable for 2 years... now she's vibrant acts like a puppy again and we cannot thank them enough for their care... not a fan of the way appt are scheduled as we live 3 hours away but worth the wait.
