Magulick's pools are awful. We signed and paid the deposit for our pool. We waited 10months and they never even broke ground. During that time they were sold and ran into some financial difficulty. We informed them that we were going to switch pool builders to one who had the money and resources to build our pool now, they agreed and promised to give our deposit back so there was no hard feelings and their reputation would stay in tact. Needless to say they never gave our money back. DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY! THEY ARE A SCAM SND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. read more

The quality was so poor I hand to hire another pool company to repair so many things. The plumbing was incorrect. The finish on the pool has to be re done. The tiles they suggested we put around the pool weee awful. We are now ripping all of that out. The owner Scott was totally unresponsive. I recommend no one use this company. We did a huge renovation and these were the only folks that let us down. Even things they said they would correct were never done. Other thing were done that I won't even mention here. We only shopped around with Magulick's so I can't speak to how they may perform if we had used them, but based on my experience I can assume it wouldn't have been good. It all comes down to ONE very important question. Can I see and have the contract you would expect me to sign BEFORE I buy the pool? Furthermore can I "walk out the door" with it before signing? In truth this is one of several flags, but I truly can't imagine spending $10 of thousands of dollars without being able to review, contemplate and even perhaps have a lawyer review the agreement. I was accused of "potentially working for a competitor" and advised that I could "speak to an attorney before coming to sign the agreement." Do your due diligence. read more

I wouldn't even give them one star...absolute disaster. We are going on 9 months of this nightmare. What could've turned out to be a beautiful pool has been nothing but disappointment. Scott, the owner totally doesn't care about his clients. This was a big job and at first I thought maybe they were "over jobed" but after reading the comment prior to mine, I see it's just the way he does business. The pool hasn't worked for more than a day at a time without needing to be reset or have someone fix something. They don't stand by anything whatsoever. So sad. It took about 10 months to complete vs the 5 months stated when we signed the contract. However, I'm assuming most of the delay was related to the supply shortages caused by COVID. Weekly maintenance is good but we had bad remodel experience. After the initial contact, it was impossible to speak or text Robert. He actually told me not to contact him, but to always go thru office email. That would be ok if they responded, but they don't. read more

It started off well (seems to a theme here) with the owner coming out and giving me a cell number and telling me that what separates him from the others is theyre a small family run company and they will communicate and be responsive. I bought that and signed a contract with them to build my pool. It went downhill from there. He never answers his phone or texts, over half of the staff quit, they were many months behind, ordered incorrect product, blamed everybody else on the planet, and still didn't install features that I requested. But the worst is after the pool was completed they will not back up their work at all. I have elected to cut them off as I would rather pay somebody else to fix the parts that are falling off months after completion, fix the automation that was not installed correctly, and anything else that happens instead of hoping they're going to answer a phone call, return an email, or figure out how to text - ie honor their warranty. read more

I just remodeled my entire back yard. The pool renovation was handle professionally and in perfect timing. The travertine was installed perfectly and the results are amazing. I have know this company for several years. Never been disappointed. Customer support espectacular. Some Companies were able to do it for less money but quality and warranty for me was very important. read more

I had a crack in my pool with a significant leak. This being new to me, I ended up getting quotes from 18 vendors. As one could imagine, the quotes were ll over the map. When Magulick's left from evaluating our situation, my wife and I turned to each other and said, "this is the company we're using". I wish I could give them 0 Stars. I never dealt with such bad costumer service , with unreliable people and with a company that doesn't own any of their mistakes. Always have an excuse for everything. I wish I would have the patience to write everything that happened in the last 7 months of this nightmare pool building project but I know nobody wants to read a book. DON'T hire them to do any jobs for you , they lie on time frames to get your business. When we realized that after months of waiting for them to start digging the pool we told them we wanted to go with a different company, keep in mind they hadn't started the job yet, Lou the construction manager told us we are welcome to do so but they will be keeping our 10% deposit. Every mAjor step were delayed , not because of Mother Nature but because of their mistakes , to them though they did not make mistakes , there were always excuses , no apologies , just excuses. Hard to reach , unreliable, rude , mostly unprofessional , those are the best words to describe this company. Time frame and cost were a lie as well as it cost us quite a few more thousands that what they quoted us.
