    Sashimi Deluxe (15 pc)

Decided to try a different sushi place instead of hitting up the usual spots. We were pleasantly surprised by how great this spot was. The sashimi & nigiri here is to die for, the eel & mackerel specifically are so delicious & quite possibly the best I've had in Tulsa. We started with the salmon bite appetizer and it was a weird fusion dish but it worked and tasted so well, I wish I had a few more bites of it! Place is a bit nicer than your average sushi spot but I really appreciated that ambience & the staff was really polite. Give this place a try!

Craving sushi we decided to have lunch there. Charming Japanese themed decor, maybe a little dark. Had to use my phones flashlight to read the menu. They do have a lunch menu with some specials as low as $13. We both chose L1, a combo of 5 pieces of nigiri sushi and a generous California roll plus salad and miso soup. All very tasty. Angela was prompt and attentive and provided excellent service.

Stopped in for dinner and ended up ordering way more sushi than I planned. Everything was so fresh I just kept going. The yellowtail nigiri was a standout melts in your mouth. I also liked their shrimp tempura roll, super crispy and flavorful. Service was quick and our server checked in often. The vibe was relaxed and not too loud. Prices were fair for the quality.

WOW! The food is great! Authentic and skilled sushi chefs. We stopped in because we were in the Kings Landing shopping area and the other restaurants in the center had long waits, but they seated us right away. Our server,Shelby, was fantastic! Knowledgeable and helpful. Food was so good it's now our 1-2 times a week sushi place. It's our 9 year twins favorite too. If you are a sushi fan you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I visited for lunch. It was our first time at this establishment and we were pleasantly surprised! Excellent sushi with a great variety of specialty rolls! We will be making a return visit!

We slipped in for a little Sunday afternoon lunch!

They are consistently terrific! This is our favorite sushi restaurant!! The service is 9 out of 10 times fantastic, today Kelsey was our waitress and she let s in on a Japanese tradition...:it's considered bad luck to pour your own drink! She diligently poured Rick's saki again and again! We appreciate the beautiful restaurant and while we are not fans of tv's in restaurants they at least have theirs on mute and play upbeat music overhead making for a more romantic experience! Check out the picture I took of the hostess stand all decorated for Valentine's Day! To the business owners....we don't know how you consistently deliver but we are so grateful that you do! Keep it up!!

I've only been here for the lunch special but every time i do it's fantastic. It's a great deal and the cuts of fish are fantastic. They will sub any fish if you have a preference and service is great. Highly recommend.

Lunch special with an extra nigiri.

This is my go to lunch place for sushi. I've been coming here for years. The sushi quality is always top notch, the picture tells the story.

WOW!!! Good sushi in Oklahoma was a shocker to me. I was hesitant of trying sushi in OK, I'm from Cali and I tend to be a bit more picky about sushi but I have to say this place NAIL IT! Good service as the server was attentive and suggesting some house specials. We were able to walk in for lunch and immediately served. The Tuna Carpaccio and Jalapeños Yellowtail were amazing! Honestly I could've have order two of each it was that good. I forgot the roll name as it was a recommendation but also on point.

Whether you're in the mood for ramen, sushi, bowls, etc... this is your spot. I was having a headache & really needed some food to help get rid of it (I was also in the area). Ramen usually does the trick & it prevailed as I started feeling better. Oishi came in the clutch.

From the corporate operations director to the manager on duty last night, I will NEVER be doing business or dining with them ever again. The manager last night flat out called us out of our names using language I cannot even bring myself to type. In short, all because we asked for our proper change and for our tickets to be reworked. Every restaurant and place of business can do that with ease. That shouldn't call for us to be disrespected. It makes zero sense. Zero. We were respectful, pretty, and paid! We weren't "loud, ghetto, or any (special choice of words)". So with that being said, if you're brown, we're not welcomed there!!! This holds serious weight. This did happen. This will be dealt with in the proper way and through the proper channels. I do not tolerate disrespect of any form.

There was a time when Dan and I loved that but now our sushi preference is nigiri and our roll preference is whatever is the closest thing you can get to nigiri. We also don't like signature cocktails. We prefer both our drinks and our sushi to be as close to pure as we can get: martinis and nigiri . We frequently attend Happy Hour at a different In the Raw. We find the service and ambiance better where we usually go. The sake at Brookside was not good. It had kind of a soapy taste. We got domestic beers for our second drinks. We forgot to ask for glasses. Service was slow so we just drank them from the bottle, which we hate to do. The main plus for the Brookside restaurant is the location. During warm weather, the outdoor seating is fun. We had a fun evening with our granddaughter and her wonderful boyfriend. My advice to diners is to ask for the Happy Hour menu anytime you go to any restaurant between 2 PM and 7 PM. This isn't the only restaurant that has a Happy Hour but doesn't promote it. Happy Hour here is from 3 and 5. They don't give you a Happy Hour menu unless you ask for it. Check out my Happy Hour list. There are claw machines at the front and back and sketchbooks with colored pencils on every table so you can draw while waiting for your food. The service is friendly - you order at the front counter and get a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready at the pickup counter. The boba drinks are good. They have a decent selection of milk teas and fruit drinks as well as toppings. The boba pearls are done right, freshly made so they are soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. Once I ordered popping boba on accident (honey boba on the menu) thinking it was regular boba sweetened with honey and did not like it. They graciously switched it out with regular boba for me which I truly appreciated. My one recommendation would be to adjust the sweetness level if you prefer lighter drinks. The last time I visited I forgot to ask and it was a bit on the sweet side for me. I've also ordered poke and teriyaki bowls from them before and it was ok. The food was fine, it just didn't stand out to me. I usually come here for the drinks but would give the food another try given the good service and atmosphere. They have ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers like chicken karaage and kimchi fries. Overall I'd recommend Gung Ho as a solid hangout spot that's centrally located with good drinks and plenty of food options.
