This is by far our favorite sushi place in Tulsa area. The price is a good value for all of the offerings that they give you, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the owner is working behind the counter still as well. I take a lot of pride and what they do and that comes through in the food that they hand you. I also like that on the all-you-can-eat menu, you can half some of the portions. For example, if you want four pieces instead of eight pieces. Probably my only complaint would be that they get full and seating gets a little tight once in a while. It's a great problem to have for a place that has phenomenal food. This is a regular in our restaurant rotation. Fav dishes: I love the red dragon roll, Viva Lake (fried), cajun lobster roll, and their peppered salmon nigiri. One of the best Tulsa Sushi dining experience is here. We don't go for the all you can eat, but we like to get other small sides and salads before the mains arrive. We have the edamame, side green salad, crunch roll, eel roll.. just to name a few items. On OUR END, those are what we enjoy while there. We would like to venture over to the bento options. The rice and teriyaki chicken is great for our small one. There is something on the menu for everyone. The wasabi and ginger on the trays are pretty good! I do recommend. We have tried more super sushi operations in Tulsa.. I hear some mention they won't eat seafood or sushi far away from the coastlines. That is totally understandable. Most are in fear of the food borne illness etc etc. We have been frequent visitors here. They also serve cooked and/or deep fried rolls; along with other hot food options on the menu. Sake 2 Me Sushi in Tulsa is a great spot for all you can eat sushi, especially if you love variety. For just over $30, you get access to tons of delicious options. We really loved that you can order rolls in different sizes, 2 pieces, 4 pieces, or a full roll, so you can try more without overdoing it. You do get charged if you don't finish the food your order- you can't take it home sadly. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and there were plenty of great choices on the menu. Service was a little spotty at times. Our original server disappeared for a bit, but other staff stepped in to help, which we appreciated. They didn't have the fried tempura vegetables, one of our favorites, but there were still plenty of tasty dishes to enjoy. I should have done better with the pics, I think I got excited. We both got the all you can eat and the good part was that we tried numerous things off the nigiri menu that we have never ordered in a regular sushi restaurant. The down side for us was that nothing tasted super fresh. Then, at first glance it looks like there are a ton of roll options but when you really look it's just a bunch of minor variations to the basic California roll. (For preface I am an 18 year old female who went to dinner with another 18 year old female, a 17 year old female, and a 17 year old male) The service was by FAR the WORST part of this meal. Most of the staff was kind and helpful, but the "server" we had was AWFUL. Very rude, didn't check on us, to the point where other servers were coming to ask us if we were still doing alright. Our server did not introduce himself, nor offer any refills. One sushi order was brought out wrong THREE separate times!! Whenever asked to correct this mistake the server was VERY rude!! I was with 3 other people (so 4 total) but only 3 of us ate. We all were VERY generous considering the service, and said please and thank you repeatedly, just to get either a nod from him, or a blank stare while walking away. No statements like "no problem", "my pleasure", or even a "you're welcome"!! I have been here once before years ago and it was an amazing experience, but apparently they are not held to the same standards anymore!! To top off this whole experience, when I asked to speak to a manager (I asked a different server) I was told the "server" we had was ALSO the manager!!! I have NO idea how any establishment can run with this kind of management!! So not only was our server very RUDE, SHORT, and IMPATIENT, with my friends and I, he was also VERY unkind to the chefs behind the counter. I will NEVER be returning, neither will any of the people with me, but I hope this review keeps someone else from wasting over $100 total on terrible service and mediocre food. read more

Went here for my birthday dinner. I was so pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything was! The restaurant felt clean and the atmosphere was great. Looking around you could see that every server was working SO hard and our service was friendly and so so quick! And the food!? DEVINE!!!!! I got the all you can eat and my husband got the teriyaki chicken meal. Everything I ordered was delicious. My favorite was the Rock n' Roll. I never wanted to stop eating it. Our normal sushi place was closed, so I looked on Yelp and found this place. It was a good choice. The miso soup had a wonderful, robust flavor. The seaweed salad was a bit sparse, but also delicious. It would have been nicer on a whole leaf of lettuce than on cut lettuce like you would use in a green salad. We shared the sushi combo A which had 8 pieces of an unusual version of California roll. It was filled with a chopped seafood salad. Not what I expected and I didn't like it very much. I do not like mayonnaise with sushi. The nigiri sushi pieces were very fresh. There was one piece of tamago which was not too sweet and balanced nicely with my soy sauce & wasabi dipping sauce. My husband enjoyed the shrimp tempura appetizer. I found the breading a bit too sweet for my taste. There's not much ambience, but we were not looking for a date-night place, just good sushi. There is a sushi bar, but we sat at a table. On a Tuesday night, it was not very busy so we were seated quickly. I definitely recommend that you try Sake2Me Sushi. This was our first visit, but won't be the last. Our server was great. The service was very quick. I don't think we waited more that 10 minutes to get food. read more

This is *excellent* sushi. The scallop nigiri and hand rolls are the single best piece of sushi I've ever had. Love the laid back vibe here - lots of 2000s music. Used to probably be a Qdoba or something similar. The lighting could use a refresh, the giant lanterns are torn up inside and the glass lights are extremely dusty. Bathroom needs an update very badly and also could use more attention to stocking. Service was great. I think the AYCE option is a great deal if you are very hungry, you would cover the cost after just 2 specialty rolls. They give you tons of ginger, loved that. The teriyaki dinners are extremely large, minimum 2 people. The salmon teriyaki came with 4 small salmon fillets, which would be enough for my 3 kids and me honestly. However, we did not really love the sauce, I think sticking to sushi here is best. I liked the beef better than the salmon, though. The ginger salad is unusual, very large pieces of lettuce, made it difficult to eat and the dressing just falls to the bottom of the bowl instead of sticking to anything. The sticky rice here is perfection. The rolls stay together so well. Which is a necessity here, which brings me to why I gave just 4 stars. The rolls are simply way way too big. Biggest I've ever seen. Nearly impossible to eat in one bite, which really brought down the experience for me. Second oddity for me was that much of the nigiri was covered in sauces. Never have seen that before, didn't care for the sauces. The quality of the fish itself should be the star, it's why you order it by itself rather than a roll. For sure would come back here, for lots and lots of scallop hand rolls. read more

Owner is diligent, involved and serves food as well. He takes care of his customers and does indeed want everyone to leave with a smile. In my case a very full stomach after I thought I wouldn't get enough. The idea is the rice...fill people up on rice and it works. But for $33/person you can't go wrong. IMO get the fish nigiri. Went here for the first time last night and it was decent. For some reason it was a smaller place than I thought. It also was on the more casual side as far as sushi places go. I'm interested in their all you can eat option, but it's just too expensive for me at $32 per adult. So I ended up sharing 3 rolls with my mom who was with me. We got the tiger roll, the Mexican roll, and the mango tango roll. All three were very different (which I try to make a point of getting a true variety) and we enjoyed all of them. I think we would agree that if we had to rank them, we'd put the mango tango roll first, then the Mexican roll, then the tiger roll. The mango tango roll is one of the sweeter rolls that I feel like are somewhat rare to find. The flavors were great! The Mexican roll was our spicy option, and had the perfect amount of sriracha sauce on top! The tiger roll had an almost smokey flavor to it. Because we ordered three that were on the lower end price-wise, the price wasn't bad. Though I always enjoy ordering more unique rolls, I feel like the three we chose were a good compromise of price to not-too-basic. On that note, I feel the need to say I was specifically surprised to see that their Philadelphia roll was one of the higher priced ones, even though to me this is a fairly standard and simple one. Arrived around 6pm on a Thursday. Seated immediately for 2. The atmosphere is casual, service is kind, and you have the option of a traditional menu or all-you-can-eat ($32). My friend had a couple sushi rolls: the spicy tuna and golden tiger tempura rolls. The rolls are big. I thought the spider tiger was better with the cream cheese, crab, and slight spice. The spicy tuna was eh, not spicy and particularly special. We also got a complimentary california roll, which was what you'd expect of a california roll. I had the tempura shrimp udon. I just love udon noodles for their texture but was pleasantly surprised by the broth, which was light, savory, and body-warming. The tempura was soaked and soggy by the time it got to me, so maybe I'll ask for it on the side next time lol (reminds me of soggy cereal). Great experience :) read more

I passed by this location while I was working in Tulsa and decided to stop. As I walked up I noticed they had an all you can eat option I was hooked. I have had many all you can eat sushi and this was one of the best. The menu was full and the method of ordering was fantastic. I could order a half roll allowing me to try many different rolls. All of the rolls I ate were great but the lobster crawfish roll was epic and I failed to get a picture of it. The service was good and the main sushi chef made sure to keep on top of the staff. The overall restaurant is nice and will accommodate groups as well as individuals. I will be back! read more

I feel betrayed by the service I've received at this restaurant. I've been upping my dressing game lately so I came in with one of my favorite bow ties, solid navy blue, with matching color pants. I feel like a million bucks walking in. I got a complimentary appetizer, some sort of fried salmon, with my order. Riding on this confident train, my ego told me that the complimentary appetizer is for being dressed up because people appreciate effort. I quickly devoured through my special roll, the mango tango, which comes in only 4 pieces, quite a small roll. The spicy tuna salad took longer for me to finish mainly because the tuna is like a tartare which is not my favorite and the salad is romaine. The ginger sauce goes well with it and I prefer it over ponzu or soy based sauce. With the extra boost of false confidence, boy oh boy everything just tasted so good. In my mind at the time, this is going to be another 5 stars restaurant. After paying the bill, I quickly glanced over the table next to me and saw the same complimentary appetizer on that table, untouched. Apparently, they just give out that complimentary appetizer that day to EVERYONE.
