We were immediately made aware of the specials, made our drink orders, and had our questions answered. They had a special where you could get an appetizer, a salad and an entree for $55. The selections they offered were exactly what we were wanting to get--it worked out great. The presentation, the quality of the food, and the overall service was excellent. Solid birthday dinner experience here. I was annoyed they made it clear dress was business casual and sent us an email to remind us about the dress code, yet when we arrived dressed appropriately, a guy at the bar was in a hat. The bar is the first thing you see when you walk in, and it's right next to the dining area, so you can't have casual or dressy at one without the other. The birthday part was fun because they served ice cream with a sparkler lit in it, which is way more fun than a regular free dessert or someone singing to our table. Nice touch! Truffle fries appetizer is the best. I order this wherever possible around Tulsa, and this was one of the better ones! Filet mignon was done well. If you like garlic, add the double garlic toum, which is basically puréed garlic to add on the steak. Mac and cheese was just ok. Whipped potato gratin was different and tasty. I wish they had crispy brussel sprouts for a side like other steakhouses. Iceberg wedge salad was good, but they only had one cheese substitute if you don't like blue cheese. I asked for ranch instead and it was good. We tried to change our reservation on a Wednesday night to push it back by 30 minutes due to work urgencies, and they showed no availability online, yet we didn't see more than two other parties there the entire time. We came for a date night: I have such mixed reviews of this place. I'll start by the atmosphere and the service were very good, the drinks were good so I cannot complain there. BUT- it was beyond overpriced for what it was. The steak was decent, ok, nothing stood out- very expensive for a filet. The al la carte sides we absolutely hated, they did not taste good and same issue, were way overpriced for what they were. I think we paid $12-13 for mashed potatoes on the side? A little insane to me for them to not even be that good. The dessert. We were so frustrated when they asked if we wanted a slice of cake for dessert, this being our first time we had no idea how large the portion was on the cake, it was almost comical. and then we were beyond upset when we saw the bill and realized the " slice" of cake was $30???? For our third visit, enjoyed the monster bone- in pork chop. Great flavor from the mustard topping, I'll be at a little spicy. Crabcake has been a little different each time, but was still solid. When country comes into town and mixes with refined dining a new category of food called country chic dinning is created. High prices, low flavor, rustic atmosphere, left me with a stale taste in my mouth. I've visited true fine dining restaurant and prices weren't this high. A 25.00 burger. A 30 + dollar chicken that had no sides and was found to be blood red meat near the bone. What are we doing! Having high prices with low quality... thats not fine dining; but let's called a spade a spade. Just because butter is a yellow golden color we don't classify it as pure gold. This place is not made for city people like me but for country people who want a "fine dining experience" that simulates a city feel. It's like going into a barn with low lighting where they serve steaks and then paying high prices because it's classified as fine dining! Now I don't want to go on about how this country restaurant turned fine dining is truly still a country diner in food and quality but getting to the food: I requested a well done hamburger. It came out raw. The outsides were cook but the inside was raw. I had to use a flashlight to see it. Something tasted off. I'm not accustomed to eating blood with my meat. I had the fries with the burger. The fries were too salty. I shared with my friend and she agreed it was super salty. The server brought out new ones. Let's get this straight: at a fine dining restaurant you're not just paying for food or atmosphere--you're paying for quality in the food and management that oversees and controls the quality. If the cooking staff is made up of cheap labor and they are expected to product high quality food; there needs to be someone managing the quality of food being produced. Or if the chef needs to go back to being sous chef, quality must be controlled at all times. Over salted fries, undercooked burger is a rookie mistake of a fine dining restaurant unless it's cosplaying as fine dining (but is truly just country cooked food with a high price rate made by low paid employees who probably don't care about the output of what people eat.) My friend ordered the chicken. It came out tender as if it was sous vide. Extremely soft rather than tender. The sauce tasted like wine. The wine was undercooked and overpowered the chicken. As with all Oklahoma restaurants, the dining staff were supportive and apologetic for the food service. My first impression here will be the last impression. read more

Interesting experience here. This restaurant used to be city hall hence the name. There's actually a private room in the back which used to be a vault thus some cool history there. It had the right vibes all around. We had a wide range of dishes recently at this establishment. The appetizers were delicious. Some notable ones: crudo (Japanese thinly sliced raw fish) - awesome! The bacon was phenomenal. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good as well. I actually likes the chips by itself! The crab mound was good - a bit too salty for my taste, but meaty! Next comes the disappointment...the prime ribeye. Why? Various reasons. First, it was under salted and I asked for salt, which was embarrassing. I even like less salt than the average person! I've never asked for salt at a steakhouse. It's possible they under salt the steaks because you can order the various butter toppings, but that's kind of ridiculous if true. For the nerds out there, less salt = not breaking down the protein correctly = slightly chewy. Second, I wish the plate was hot because the steak was lukewarm when it arrived. For a premium price, I expected better. This steak was not even comparable to a chain steakhouse. I'm sorry, this was a huge miss. The Chilean sea bass was actually good although it's hard to mess that up. The sides like Mac and cheese, potatoes, asparagus and collards were decent. Nothing to brag about. Desserts were just ok. Fine dining has arrived in Jenks! My wife and I choose to dine at City Hall Steakhouse for our anniversary. We were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and met the general and front-of-house managers. We were escorted to our table, and our server was introduced. To begin, we ordered a few beverages and an appetizer of oysters. The oysters were tasty, but they were small. We ordered the fresh catch of the day, filet mignon, cheesy au gratin potatoes, and creamed spinach. While waiting for dinner, the restaurant played soft music, which allowed us to enjoy a conversation. We also saw a dessert being delivered to another table and were impressed with the serving size of the cake. Our food arrived, and it did not disappoint. The filet was cooked perfectly, and my wife enjoyed her fish. Both sides were delicious, and the serving was perfect for two. The chef came by the table to inquire about our dinner. He sincerely sought feedback about what we liked or didn't like. We suggested adding a carrot cake to the menu, and he was receptive. We ordered a cheesecake for dessert, and it was enormous. Delicious East Coast oysters to start. I had the lamb shank, and my husband ordered the 10oz filet with béarnaise--both were cooked perfectly. The lamb was incredibly tender and fell right off the bone. I usually skip sides, but I tried the collard greens. They had bacon in them as God intended. Oh where to begin... my personal dinner was excellent. However, the service was subpar to say the least and the couple my husband and I were with for our annual Christmas dinner was beyond disappointing. Having dined at City Hall for my birthday, anniversary and many other major and non-major milestones we thought this would be an excellent choice. We made reservations for 7:30pm and were told the only available table was a high top in the bar. At first not an issue, however once there, it was clear there were standard four top tables available. Our waitress, while nice, had clearly checked out for the day. We had to ask about specials, my husband ordered a vodka tonic that never made it and the biggest faux Pa was her overall lackadaisical attitude. No fresh ground pepper for two salads, no checking in, just I'll take your order and here's your food. Now, again my steak was perfect. Our friends, not so much. They ordered Prime Strip medium and it came out more rare than I've ever seen. When we asked the kitchen to redo it, you would have thought we were in the wrong. The steak came back chard on all sides and looked completely inedible. Not sure if or when we will be back. On Valentine's Day, my husband had a dinner reservation at City Hall Steakhouse in Jenks. We were excited to try this new upscale establishment! Upon checking in at the hostess stand, we were taken to a large booth and our server brought us water. We both ordered drinks, and perused the menu. We started with the bacon rib, which was topped with chives, and it was delicious. Such a great flavor and cooked perfectly. Next we shared the wedge salad, which was also tasty. Then we each had filets accompanied by the potatoes at gratin and creamed spinach. I usually order a NY Strip or Ribeye but the filet was amazing! Both steaks had such a great flavor that a topping wasn't needed. Everything we had was outstanding! And since it was Valentine's Day, our waitress brought out a small plate with a little round chocolate dipped cake, a strawberry, and a coconut macaroon at the end of our meal. Additionally, as we were leaving the hostess handed me a long-stemmed rose. Such small details but perfect touches to a special night. We so enjoyed City Hall! Love the atmosphere. Their bar area was so pretty and busy. We sat in the other room and it was fun to look out the window and see people on the street. I started out with an old fashioned and it was really good-i am pretty picky when it comes to old fashioneds. My husband had them make a special margarita that was not sweet and he was really happy with it. They took it away before he was totally done with it and he told them so they made him another one! He requested they not make him a full one, but I think they would have. Service was top notch. Oh, we just had some complimentary crackers at the start, my friend said she wished they had bread. My husband and I split a Caesar salad, it was really good. I had a filet for dinner and loved it. Our friend liked his steak but felt it was a bit overcooked. For sides we shared fries and spinach. We were, and are excited still, about having multiple options in Jenks. Went Tuesday before thanksgiving and were seated promptly in the bar area at a four seat high top. Ordered waters, a wedge, bone marrow, and a beer to start. Service was good, albeit a tad slow. Appetizers arrived and we ordered entrees. Both the wedge and marrow were great. When the food arrived, we killed at least 30 minutes waiting for our steaks to show. Delivered, and they were slightly above room temperature being generous. Sides were hot and very good. Steak flavor was great all the way around with two filets and a strip. Unfortunately, the most expensive part of the dinner was a bit of a let down. Nothing like having a cold $65 piece of beer on the table. Hopefully, we will see improvement when we return. read more

Pretty loud inside but not an issue for us. Just happy people eating and drinking. We started with artichoke dip. It was really good. The chips were way too salty tho so idk if that was just a bad batch, or common. We both had filets. Mine with the lemon herb butter, his with the garlic horseradish butter: his was better. Good garlic flavor. We got the spicy bacon collards and whipped potato gratin. Both were good. The collards do have spice so if you don't like spicy, you might not like them. And we got the chocolate cake to go. It was good. Desserts are HUGE!! 4 people were sharing one desert at most tables. Our main server, CiCi, provided excellent service throughout the evening, from explaining the menu to clearing silverware between courses and attending to our needs. Overall, the service was impressive, especially for a new establishment. Nuske bacon was cooked to fork-tender perfection and garnished with chives. Each bite delivered a delightful balance of salty-sweet unctuousness, with initial flavors of sweet soy followed by salty pork. The finish brought delicate end notes of molasses and fresh chives, making for a fantastic elevated take on bacon. An excellent appetizer. The crudo is a complex, flavor-packed dish. Bright notes of ponzu and lemon lead the way, transitioning into middle layers of radish and fresh fish. The finish offers a subtle heat from jalapeño that creeps up nicely. The interplay between the soft fish and firm radish creates a lovely texture contrast. Like the bacon, this dish balances sweet, salty, and savory elements, but with refreshing, vibrant notes that dance on the palate, making it a standout. An excellent course. The crab cake was one of the highlights of the evening, packed generously with Maryland crab. Each bite showcased the rich flavor of crab with subtle end notes of bay and paprika. The aioli drizzled on top added a refreshing tang that elevated the dish even further. This dish plays on the popular "caviar and Pringles" trend but falls a little short of expectations. The smoked trout roe is overshadowed by the overwhelming flavor of crème fraîche and BBQ Pringles, with the roe's smoked notes barely discernible. The ratio leaned heavily towards the crème, which was loose and runny, making it difficult to appreciate the intended balance. Unfortunately, the end result was dominated by the BBQ Pringles, leaving the delicate roe as more of an afterthought. A glorious Tomahawk steak, beautifully marbled, is presented tableside for branding before being cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The tableside theater adds a nice touch to the experience. The steak itself is impeccably cooked, with a delightful char encasing a tender, medium-rare center. The Prairie Creek Farm Heritage pork chop is an outstanding product, and Chef Alexander executed it perfectly, serving a succulent 16oz chop covered in his house-made Carolina Barbecue sauce. The sauce is a masterpiece, with perfectly balanced notes of mustard, honey, and tangy vinegar that complement the pork without overwhelming it. The lamb shank is fork tender and braised to perfection. The sauce is hearty with strong notes of beef and lamb perfectly accenting the lamb flavor profile. The white bean adds another meaty element to the dish. They are subtly seasoned. It's a good lamb dish. The potato gratin is silky smooth with the top adorned with breadcrumbs adding a wonderful texture to each bite. It features notes of potato and butter. It is a classic side, well executed. The Au Gratin features four cheeses and is cooked well. The potatoes are cubed and soft. It is a rich, heavy dish. It is difficult to discern the different types of cheese. Regardless, it is hard to go wrong with This side is tangy, acidic, a complete contrast to other sides. It has a slightly bitter aftertaste common with collards. It's a classic preparation of a classic southern side. The multi-layered strawberry cake has a mild flavor profile, with a topping similar to whipped cream. A thin layer of graham-like crust in the middle of each ice cream layer adds a pleasing contrast in both flavor and texture. The strawberry sauce brings a sweet, slightly tangy note to each bite..
