Stopped in to order lunch to go. Beautiful restaurant and they had a nice crowd dinning in. They have a 100 health score rating which is always a great thing! I ordered the spicy garlic chicken lunch special that comes with chicken, vegetables, one chicken wing, and a spring roll. The spring roll was really good! I would definitely get it again. The spicy garlic chicken wasn't spicy but I enjoyed it and the vegetables were plentiful, which I liked. The chicken wing was good despite it being naked (no sauce). on Friday my husband and I went for lunch and he had egg drop soup and as he was eating and got near end of bowl had something in his mouth that felt funny and it turned out to be a piece of metal. we said something to manager and all they said is that it must of been from dishwasher. we got up and left and they never seem to care. well they lost 2 great customers. if he had swallowed this no telling what would have happened. never will go back again. My wife and I had not visited this restaurant for a few years. To our surprise we were very pleased upon walking in. The new appearance of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We were welcomed in a very courteous manner. We ordered from the lunch menu which offered quite a selection of dishes. Our lunch was delicious and plentiful. The price was good and adequate . Great food and experience. First time patronizing this establishment a few years ago the food taste was that of the original Chinese restaurants we would visit in lower Manhattan. They have since renovated the dining area which is really nice, with nice booths and decor which makes it even more authentic. I found the Lunch portion of the Shrimp Fried Rice rather pricey as I ordered takeout. The rice was unusually dry as was the peas and carrots. To top off this bad experience was I had 3 Shrimp and one dried chicken leg. That didn't make up for the shortage of Shrimp. I am disappointed!!! read more

A great little Chinese restaurant in Snellville! Was visiting my parents in Monroe this weekend, and if you've been to Monroe, you know there aren't many options for food. A few staple restaurants, but not too much variety. So my sister and I will usually drive about 30 minutes to Snellville if we are in the mood for something other than a chain of fast-food! We drove out and actually decided we wanted bubble tea. The closest shop to our parents house is King Fu tea, which is right next to this place. While waiting for our tea we were trying to decide what to eat, and we decided to try this place next door. ***LOCATION*** Plenty of parking since it is in a strip with other businesses! ***ATMOSPHERE*** The inside was clean and normal, nothing extravagant but still nice! There were plenty of tables and it was a little quiet since it was pretty late, but we just got takeout so we could go home and watch Love Island haha. ***STAFF*** The guy at the front was so welcoming and friendly! I came in and said I wanted to place a Togo order and he gave us all menus and said yes please have a seat and make yourself comfortable and just let me know when you are ready! I felt immediately relaxed. It can be overwhelming going somewhere new and feeling the pressure to order quickly since they are waiting but je was just so welcoming! We placed our order and my mom wanted to pickup Krispy Kreme as well (another place not in Monroe so gotta get it while out haha) so we left and drove down the street. We came back to get our food 15 minutes later and it was all ready. There was a line but the guy at the front saw me walk in and handed it to me while the people in line were deciding on their order. ***FOOD*** I really liked the flavor! I was not expecting a flat noodle but it was still very good. The portion sizes are huge! We are basic and just got a bowl of noodles and my sister got a bowl of fried rice and we got spring rolls. We weren't starving but we still ate a lot and both said we felt like we kept eating and the amount never went down. It was never ending! We had enough for like 3 meals! I thought I'd never finish my bowl. The food was also scalding hot even after our 30 minute drive home which was perfect. Idk if they make to go orders extra hot or what but it was perfect! ***PRICE*** Very reasonable for the portion sizes! I think my noodles were like 12$. ***CONCLUSION*** Definitely will be back and can't wait to go on a day where we are hungrier so we can try more than noddles and rice! read more

This was our dinner after Memorial celebration. Around 45 of us converged on this restaurant. They did not get rattled. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE SERVICE WAS SECOND TO NONE. This was so meaningful to all of us. The restaurant was immaculate. The bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked. I'm not the type to make a review but I think some things need to be addressed. I've been to this restaurant one time and everything went well from the food to the services. I figured to come back again because I was craving Chinese food just to find that this time the restaurant was super busy. I didn't want to waste any time so I went on yelp to see what food and reviews they had. I came across several negative reviews about a waitress name JENNY and didn't really think too much about it until she approached our table and the rest was history. She had really bad attitude when serving her customers !! She asked if we would like to drink anything and I ordered soda to drink. The soda she brought out was a bit flat so I nicely asked if she could give me a different one and she started to roll her eyes at me. At this point I was just trying to be nice seeing how busy they were and maybe she's just stressing. However, I saw her scratching her head while handling my drink and I thought I saw something flake off and was now cautious that maybe dandruff has fallen into my drink. Intentional or not, I was disgusted and didn't even want to drink my drink. When our food was ready, she rushed out to put our food on our table and then rushed back into the kitchen and didn't really seem to be interested in our possible needs. Again still trying to be considerate and understanding, but my friends didn't really appreciate the rude attitude and service that was being provided. The food that was brought out looked a bit oily and our appetite at this point was just gone. After finishing up our food and getting up to leave, the workers who worked that day all said thank you except for our own waitress. She didn't seem to even give us any attention. Now I realize why these reviews were written about her. Unfortunately we won't be back. If you're in the area and want to give this place a try, just avoid Jenny. Food wasn't bad and not all services were bad. The guy at the front was very friendly to welcome us and he seem super nice and helpful. Wished we had him serving us instead. I'm into the soups these days, so while shopping in the area I decided to check this place out, and I must say they have pretty tasty food. I ordered wonton soup and egg drop soup-pretty good... I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special and it was really good, I like the way they prepare it with the pineapples and carrots -yummy! I told a friend and we returned for dinner and I ordered the Philly cheesesteak rolls and the walnut shrimp, unfortunately I wasn't a fan of my dinner choices, but the service was great, everyone was extremely friendly...... the restaurant could definitely use a make over but it was clean and inviting... We enjoy the traditional shrimp egg foo young, but they make there's a bit differently but it was still delicious. It is served with 3 small egg patties topped with stir fried veggies and shrimp in a gravy sauce (~$13) We also got a pan fried noodle dish with shrimp, scallops, and veggies (~15). We tried the seafood hot and sour soup. It had shrimp and scallops mixed in but there was not much seafood in it for the price..$8.50 for 2 bowls. We loved the bowl of noodles served with the soup. Each bowl had 1 shrimp and slivers of scallops. The flavor was nice and peppery. We were pleased with the serving size of both meals. All of the servers were friendly. I would note the bathroom floors were sticky. My feet made that horrible sticky sound soon as I entered the bathroom. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time after living close by and not visiting due to a negative health score I had seen a few years ago. Well, the food and experience were just awesome like so many others have said recently. Chinese is one of my fav cuisines and I've eaten Chinese in many restaurants in NYC's Chinatown, San Francisco's, in London and other cities and this rates very highly! We ordered spring rolls and 3-4 different dishes in the vegetable section of the menu (2 of which were supposed to be the garlic and Szechuan sauces and both spicy). The spring rolls were great, however, the main courses were completely bland and all the sauces tasted the same, none of which were spicy. Having paid a tremendous amount for mediocre food, we did not want to spend more money on a tip, so we left an 8% tip. As we were getting ready to leave, we were confronted and berated loudly by our server for not leaving the suggested amount, to which I shockingly gave an extra $2. We had come here in years past and loved the food and service, but I'm guessing management must have changed because now the food is of poor quality and the staff is unprofessional for the amount I am paying. I have never considered writing a restaurant review before, but after this experience, I hope to inform people that this place is not worth your time or money. read more

Went to eat at mah jong in snellville for the first time and was served by a really rude waitress name Jenny. When we would ask for something she would often roll her eyes with annoyance. Even getting our checks to leave, we were met with such absurdity. I don't fault the restaurant for this review because the food itself was good, however the bad customer service can really ruin someone's mood. If you're thinking to even try out this place or to enjoy your meal with peace and positive energy, please avoid her at all cost. I love good food, but I love positive energy and positive environment more. And with such experience, that will be my last time there. 2 star for the food and minus 3 for the bad customer service. I was surprised when I was told that despite the website menu making no distinction between lunch in the restaurant vs. takeout- you can only have soup with dine in lunch. So, I paid for my egg drop Soup a la carte. The food was a little bland and there were more carrots than broccoli or beef in my meal and the rice had pieces of eggshell in it.
