Indian food is limited in Las Cruces, NM so decided to venture into El Paso, TX. This place was…read moreclosest for us (coming from Las Cruces) so we picked it. Meeting my brother and his wife for my birthday dinner. We ordered a variety of dishes. The Tandoor chicken, samosas, and chicken biryani were very good. The chicken tikka masala was ok, my wife ordered spicy but it was bland. I ordered the lamb vindaloo spicy but it was bland as well. My brother ordered garlic chicken and it tasted more Asian than Indian (had a lot of ginger which overpowered the garlic). Oddly, the dishes had a lot of cilantro which was new to me (having eaten Indian food all over the US). Figured it must be an El Paso thing? The Indian restaurants in Santa Fe, NM and Albuquerque, NM (where we used to live) are very much better than this place was. I can't give it more than 3 stars - average quality I suppose. Probably won't go again, but will try other Indian restaurants in El Paso.

A total win for vegans and vegetarians -- the menu is packed with vibrant, spice-forward dishes that don't compromise on authenticity. We asked for spicy, and wow, they delivered! The vibe sealed the deal: fantastic service and a fun throwback soundtrack playing all the 80s and 90s hits -- "Take My Breath Away" from Top Gun and all! Between the great food, friendly staff, and nostalgic tunes, this spot hits every note. Absolutely coming back!

Mixed reviews about the overall, but the food is tasty…read more We had a friendly server, but the order didn't come out all at once. And the drinks which we ordered first came out later, and after the food came out. They did drop off a caraf of water at the table, so we weren't thirsty. Liz ordered a mango margarita, and she enjoyed it. My mom ordered a mojito, but it also came out later and tasted more lemony than a mojito should. I ordered and Irani Chao Tea, and it was very cream and cardamom-y tasting drink...but even the large was very small. The foods were delicious. They came out slowly, but I guess it was worth the wait, maybe? Lol. Liz ordered a seasoned fried cashew chicken. We also ordered a paneer, a butter chicken, and a another roasted tomato and chicken dish that were all good. I also, ordered a medium spicy chickpeas dish that came after the rest of the food after I reminded our server. The naan was tasty but thin and kinda crispy. I guess maybe I prefer it a bit thicker and soft, but the flavor of the butter and garlic naan were good. The ambiance was very chill. They had indoor and outdoor seating. It was interesting as I thought it was pretty kid friendly, but this one customer shhh'd a kid. There is a small play area outside the shared area. Parking in the area could be tight If I return I'd like to taste their mango llasi, and some other dishes we didn't think the kids would enjoy, but I would

This restaurant occupies where AJ's Diner used to be. It last sad to hear they shut down. Hopefully this place sticks around. Service was great. I really want to support local spots, so I'm bummed this was my experience. When I arrived, two…read morecustomers who had already paid ended up leaving without their food because the wait was so long, which wasn't a great sign. I waited about 45 minutes for a plate with roasted chicken thighs, rice, salad, and hummus with pita. Which I would normally think would be super quick to plate and get out. Unfortunately, the chicken was extremely over-salted (I had to remove the skin), the rice was mushy, the salad had no dressing, and the hummus had a very odd, overly smooth texture that was off-putting. I ate one piece of chicken and couldn't finish the rest. I hate writing negative reviews, especially for local businesses, but the wait just wasn't worth it.

So good. That chicken and rice is some of the best in town and the dolmas and hummus are also fantastic.
