Half of the large parking lot at Kapolei Community Park is closed to allow the vendors to set up. They are all on the basketball court side of the park. Prices were really cheap and the vendors were really friendly. I definitely would go again. I am super happy with a bag of five tomatoes that I picked up for only $2! If you want Thai basil, it is only 50 cents a bunch, and pastries start at only 50 cents among lots of other items. Parking is street parking. There were lots of parking available. One thing though is that this farmer's market is a really early one ending at around 730 or 8 am. Cash only and open only on Sundays. Among the selections: sweet onions, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, basil (already made pesto tonight!), oranges, apples, potatoes (all kinds, including purple sweet), beans, lemons, key limes, and apple bananas. I will DEFINITELY be back. One downside is that you have to arrive early (between 7 and 7:30 a.m.). After that, they're getting ready to tear it down, so you almost feel as if you're being rude while they're cleaning up. Be sure to bring smaller bills and even coins. #109 of 2017 This…read moremarket seems to be getting smaller every year. We still come every Friday because it is convenient. One stall specializes in papaya and bananas. I like the papayas. Other 2 trucks bring in vegetables. We easily spend $30 here. This is located in the parking lot for Ewa Beach Park across from the Ewa Beach Library and Campbell High School. Parking can get tough. You may find street parking easier. Along the fence are your nanas selling their home grown vegetables. You can bargain with them a little. Not sure why they allow this but it's worth to check them out. The trick here is to get thete at 8:45am 15min. before they open. Choose your fruits and veges then wait till it opens to pay. Getting there at 9pm when they do open, or after, most of the better quality products are gone. The market doesn't stay long. By 9:30am the vendors are packing or gone.

Pretty pricey for 3 small churros that was definitely just a long regular churro cut into 3 pieces, but support local businesses anyway. Made my way over to RissazKillaKonez, so many different soft serve flavors, I got a cappuchino, pretty good on a hot sunny day, ice cream was melting so fast though. Lastly, saw this crispy beef jerky tent. Beef jerky is my fave snack, I like all kinds, store bought or local made. For $14 I got a teriyaki crispy jerky after trying a bunch of samples and to be honest, it's not the best. It's bland, it isn't that "crispy", practically just hard jerky that breaks apart easily. Comparing this crispy beef jerky to the one in swap meet, swap meet is 1000 times way better and more flavorful, melts in your mouth type crispy jerky.

Very easy to find, off the freeway heading north on Kunia Rd and it will be on the next stoplight past Walmart, making a left on Anonui Street. You can't miss it because there's a huge sign and banners on the corner it is located on. There is plenty of parking attended by a couple of friendly parking attendants directing your way. There is a covered area with several picnic tables near the entrance as well as 2 porta potties. The market itself is not very big and housed in one small but long building. There are a few vendors on the porch area selling flavored water, baked goods, honey, and other goodies. Upon entering the building, the majority of produce will be to your right. To the far left is the checkout area. They accept bankcard and cash. Most of the items are packaged with signs and prices by each type of produce. The display of produce is neatly laid out and well-stocked. They even provide rolling shopping baskets for your convenience. Today they were having a 4th of July special on their sweet corn - buy 4 bags, get 1 free. The table was packed full when I arrived & in less than a half hour, it was empty. I was fortunate to grab a bag. Prices were reasonable and comparable to other farmer's markets. They were also selling Waialua cage-free jumbo eggs, 1 dzn for $6 and also Kauai shrimp in 2 sizes. Cashiers were very friendly and personable. Even though there was a line, both cashiers worked fast and efficiently. If you want local snacks, cheap souvenirs, or just a good walk, this is the place to be. Every time I visit, I end up finding something great, but this specific trip was a massive win. I had been on a hunt for coconut apple (the spongy, sweet embryo inside a mature coconut)...I had been to another marketplace, but this was the spot where I found it. I walked stall by stall, asking the vendors. Some gave me a knowing look, and some didn't, but when I found it, I was happy and able to relive my childhood memories of eating this. Between hunting down rare local treats and scoring great deals on shirts, gear, and random finds, you easily get your dollar's worth here. Just make sure to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes, and get there early before the sun really starts beating down.
