This is a hippie paradise within paradise! We hiked to Honeymoon Beach, where we met a friendly woman who recommended we head out for soMe free music at the crossroads. To our complete delight, the free concert was Keller Williams, an artist we have seen locally in Buffalo, NY & at Knox Farm in East Aurora, NY at the Borderland Festival we have worked as volunteers. Adorable bar serves local drinks and cocktails, lots of varied comfortable seating in comfy clusters, a food truck that serves 3-4 main items. Open air souvenir shop. Small stage makes for intimate concerts. Pack your sunscreen & bug spray. If you'll be there after dark, pack a high quality light, or you won't see or be seen. The area is directly across from Maho Bay Beach, which is gorgeous, but better in the morning and early day, as it's filled with "no see um" type little biting bugs! It's also unfortunate to see the powers that be engineered a foul smelling restroom and planted it directly on the edge of this beach, making the entire area smell like human excrement.

Maho Crossroads offers some great drinks and a food truck located on the side. The drink menu includes a variety of staple cocktails, including the Painkiller, and canned beer and refreshments. The food truck not only serves staple items like hamburgers they offer specials of the day, which included a pulled pork sandwich on one of our visits. We visited twice while on the island and were able to enjoy corn hole, live music and the beach across the street where snorkeling allows you to find some amazing sea turtles and fish! Highly recommend this stop for a day of fun and relaxation!

We want here for the Keller Williams music festival in February 2020. It was amazing! Keller Williams played on a small stage where we were inches from him. He was amazing, the drinks were the best we had in the Virgin Islands and at pretty reasonable price at about $9. The people were super cool and chill, the views are beautiful, the furniture is awesome. We literally felt like we were dropped in an alternate reality! The no seem 'em bugs were absolutely horrible! I got so many bug bites that have lasted awhile and were super itchy. This place was amazing for the concert, but not sure what it would be like on a normal day. Definitely good cocktails! Definitely amazing for the Keller Williams show!

Maho Crossroads is a great family & environmentally friendly spot right on the beach. Snorkel gear and paddles boards are available for rent. They often have live music or events supporting the community as well. Great place to play corn hole, relax in a variety of beach chairs or have a drink.

    Review Highlights - Maho Crossroads

Maho Beach is one of the best places to see sea turtles, and we managed to see one, despite the cloudier-than-usual water, due to wave action.

The boat shuttle is a small little boat that fits up to 6 people and it took all of 5-10 minutes to get from the ferry dock to Honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They set up your chairs wherever you want on the beach. They pull out the kayaks for you and give you the snorkel gear. I was a little disappointed because if you are just doing the equipment rental you're not allowed to kayak passed the confines of honeymoon beach, which is kind of small. I have a feeling that is for your own safety though so you don't get overzealous and find yourself lost out on the water without a tour guide! We didn't end up using the SUPs but they were available if we wanted. We snorkeled and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of fish. But we did see a couple sea turtles which was what I was hoping for!! I will say, the food and drinks they sell in the hut are super expensive and downright not worth it. So bring a mini cooler with snacks and water if you can! It was a leisurely day and we liked being able to snorkel and kayak of our own free will!

If you're looking for a nice relaxing day on a private island then this may be the trip for you!…read moreThis is a group tour that travels with more than just those you booked with. As long as 15 people are on the tour, they will take you to your Calebra. If less than 15 you stay local! There were well over 15 so we were able to tour Calebra. It was so beautiful! Once you get there, they pick you up on a ferry to take you to the boat . The boat travels for about an hour before getting to a private island and that is where you get the guided snorkeling or diving tour depending on what you selected! My friends and I did the snorkeling. As someone who can't swim (I know I know lol) I had a great time. The tour guides were very informative and helpful for all ages and swim levels. They do provide fruit, cold cut sandwiches and rum punch and when you stop . If you're looking for a "party" boat then this may not be for you. Don't expect lots of liquor and twerking etc it's a family type tour, Some of my friends were a bit disappointed by the price expecting that we'd stop somewhere that had a bar and restaurant but it was just a private island (we're in our high 20s low 30s). So idk I think it depends on your expectations but I was okay with everything and the service was great!

We were told we had to first buy and complete the course work through PADI and from There they would do the water/ dive sessions and compete the certification. The shop also gets a kick back from Padi as work since it makes u select a dive shop where ur course work is sent to. Once we complete the course work, we each reached out to the dive shop about 2 - 1 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule the dates and times for the water sessions. We did not receive any type of response back from the shop. We attempted to message on whatsup as requested but still did not receive a confirmation or any type of communication. We called down to the shop, where we were told to just text them. We again tried to text the shop but did not receive any response. We flew to San Juan and arrived and immediately went to the shop, we were told to text them and they would get back to us.. we asked directly if they had availability and we were told they would check and get back to us via text.... A day goes by, we attempt to call and no response.. fully we get a text saying they are fully committed...... This was without doubt the worst type of un-reliable customer service and a refusal to communicate.. I would not trust this dive shop or operation. They should never have told us to use to do the course work with their shop and then refuse to complete our certification. Luckily Scuba Dogs next door came to our rescue when we told them about the horrible customer service we received. Just be aware this shop will not be reliable.
