Took a quick drive up to Bellevue yesterday and stopped in here for dinner. At first glance wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as we walked in was impressed by the atmosphere. We were told just take a seat anywhere we'd like. Our waitress came over took our drink order with which she returned promptly and started just chatting with us giving us time to look over the menu. We asked her what some of her favorites were and decided to go with the spinach queso dip for an appetizer. It did not disappoint. Very creamy and served with the perfect portion of chips to scarf it up. Our waitress took into account and times our main course just right as our burgers came out just as we finished the queso. First off the juicy Lucy was super delicious. I gave mine time to cool down just a bit because the cheese is packed inside the burger. My wife and I order the same I had fries with mine and she had the fried cheese curds. This here lemme tell ya was worth the entire trip up there. I think I ate most of her cheese curds. They were so good and delicious but here's the kicker, the standard dipping sauce is ranch but our awesome waitress suggested caramel sauce. My wife and both looked at each other with a perplexed look but decided to go with it. She brought the caramel sauce and reluctantly I tried it. OMG!!! It was like a chewy waffle with buttery maple flavor. It was epic would definitely take a drive up there just for those bad boys. read more

The food is delicious. Get the Cuban. It's as tasty as they described. The (junior) Lucy burger was fresh, juicy, and delicious. A Cesar salad with teriyaki chicken did not disappoint either. Hits the spot. read more

We were headed back home to Boise after a week in the Sawtooths for our 30th anniversary. Feeling a bit peckish, I asked a gas station cashier for a recommendation for a place with really good sandwiches. Most of the restaurants in Bellevue that I googled were closed, on a Saturday at 3:30?? Great vibe, excellent service! We had the smoked turkey club and the Cuban. Both were amazing! Wow! This place was great. After reading some reviews I was surprised! We got to go food, when I walked in I found the man I ordered the food from on the phone and said hello! as he was pouring a beer. He stopped pouring the beer and grabbed my recipe and my card to pay. He was very friendly even while the bar had around 10 people sitting there. When we got the food home, I ate my Cajun chicken sandwich so fast I couldn't even get a pic! The smoked turkey sandwich was turkey smoked and was so so good. Only thing - I wish we got fries with both meals vs. the default chips. read more

i was in town and was invited here by the staff. they closed early so they weren't open when i got there. they hassled me while i was waiting for my uber. after leaving i was harassed and threatened by the staff that invited me because i apparently date the same girls as her boyfriend. weird unprofessional. i suspect drug use and mental health issues at this establishment. read more

Food is meh. Service is horrible: if you are a young, good-looking male sitting with other young, good-looking males, the waitress will spend ALL her time at your table. If you have gray hair, male or female, you will get absolutely little to no attention. Don't ask for tea, they will tell you they have no hot water. More times than I can count they have completely screwed up the order, by providing a meal that likely someone else at another table ordered. They will not come back to check on your table to see how things are going - you will need to get up & go ask the bartender (even worse than asking the waitress). The owner sluffs around doing pretty much nothing. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

This place was great I walked to it from my motel room was only half a mile front door was a little disconcerting but I walked in and older bar but clean and walk me out to the back to the back porch eating since I had the pooch service was great wasn't really busy the night I was there but the hamburger was amazing the brioche bun was fresh and nicely crisped on the inside and juicy they had a nice big bowl of water for the pooch music was grooving to the'90s and '80s whoever the chef was knows how to make a burger read more

The food is great. We were sitting across the dining room from the bar and had a hard time enjoying conversation due to the booming voice of the bartender. We would have stayed for another drink and dessert but left early. We have company coming to town soon but we will probably go someplace without the hollering. read more

Great little neighborhood pub. The service is excellent and the food delicious. We've been here many times but last night my husband had the walleye fish and chips and I had the chicken chili - both amazing. Plus the cocktails are great and the prices very reasonable. They keep the fireplace roaring in the winter and open their large back deck in the summer. A real gem in our little valley. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. Ordered a margarita and it had a hair in it which the server noticed and took back for another immediately. The second try it was so strong it was basically just tequila and tasted like well tequila, not what I ordered. The beer was the last bit from the keg and was so hazy it looked like orange juice. We tried a rum and coke which again was just straight well alcohol. The chicken sandwich with Bleu cheese crumbles was actually just topped with Bleu cheese dressing and thr bacon on it was either Chewy or burnt. The atomic wings were so spicy they weren't even enjoyable and we have a high tolerance to spice. The best thing about this place is the server whose name I did not get and the French fries. We also noted that we were sitting on the patio where there were no smoking signs all around and yet a different server from who we had arrived and immediately sat down in a chair near the stage and started smoking and the wind blew it in our direction. It's such a great location with so much potential, but the food and drinks need to be reevaluated and quality control should be tighter. read more

I was really craving a sandwich and both cafes were close in Bellevue so I decided to go here. Upon walking in there was a lady and a man behind the bar, both turned and looked at me but didn't say one word before turning back around -- first down fall, and I truly don't understand the concept on not greeting your customers. I ordered the Rueben, which said the pastrami was made in house, I also saw the picture on their website and thought it looked like a good hearty meal, I was hungry. Well upon receiving my sandwich it didn't look anything like the picture. It was about half the size, skimping on the meat, and I don't believe it to be rye bread, at least it definitely wasn't the same bread pictured. I got it to go, I am only staying 4min away but when I got home the bottom of the sandwich was soggy. I'm giving 3 stars cause the sandwich was still tasty and because I hate putting people down.. I just hope they read this and work on their customer skills as well as match what they are selling or take the pictures down so there isn't the expectations of something they don't have. read more

Best place in town for a burger and brew. Other menu items are also very good, even the salads, which is not what one expects from Pub food. The chicken wings I might add are excellent! I take an annual fly fishing holiday to the Wood River valley and when I get off the river, usually quite late, I know there is a brew and some excellent food waiting for me here. Stopped by on a Saturday night in November with friends for a drink. I had been there several times. Vinny the owner and the rest of the staff were always friendly and professional. Unfortunately, Saturday night I met Vinny's wife. She mistook me for someone else. Accused me of stealing a phone and embarrassed me in front of my friends, and everyone else at the bar. She quickly realized it was not me (her mistake). Instead of apologizing she got very defensive and refused to apologize "because all she did was ask me a question". She got very loud, was extremely arrogant and told me she was the owner and they did not need my business. They were doing just fine. Apparently, she does not understand Customers are important. Food was good. Our server, who is the wife of the owner, was standoffish. We asked for a small bowl of lemons and she acted like we inconvenienced her. During the meal she was not personable and she only checked on us once. She was not cool. We mentioned this to the owner and he didn't seem surprised. We normally tip above 20%, but we didn't. We've been going to Mahoney's for years because it's convenient, and the burgers are decent. We went for dinner a couple of nights ago with our daughter, and another couple. The manager (?owner) saw my daughter taking a sip of beer, and rushed over demanding to see her ID, which I had no problem with. My problem was with how incredibly rude he was to her when we realized that she had left it at home. She produced a picture of it on her phone, not because she wanted a drink, but because she wanted him to know that she really is 21 and wasn't trying to cheat. He was again EXTREMELY rude to both my daughter and our friend. When my daughters left he went out of his way to yell "Good Night" in a sarcastic way.
