I've been seeing Anna for cupping and acupuncture for about a year now. I get symptoms of nausea, migraine, imbalance and fatigue/exhaustion from an inner ear disorder. She's very attentive to my needs at every appointment. A lot of the time I go in feeling terrible and nauseated and leave feeling a lot more relaxed (it's surprising how neck and back tension plays a huge role in migraine frequency). OMG I had a pinched nerve in my left arm, numbness in my arm and several fingers...it was driving me crazy!!! I went to a Thai massage, chiropractor twice, and to a doctor but nothing helped... I am SO glad to have found Anna! I had read somewhere about facial rejuvenation acupuncture, and was interested in a natural way to maintain youthfulness in my face and to slow the effects of gravity. I purchased a package of six facial rejuvenation acupuncture sessions. Each appointment was about 90 minutes long. Anna starts by massaging in some amazing-smelling organic products into your face, taking time to press on certain pressure points. A face mask comes next, followed by a serum and more facial massaging. It's incredible. Then comes the acupuncture, followed by more facial massaging and serum. It's relaxing and rejuvenating at the same time. Anna is such a wonderful, sincere person and she makes the whole experience feel like a day at the spa; I feel cared for and valued during my appointments. However, the biggest benefit comes from the results: after just one appointment, I could visibly see my jawline tighten and the small lines around my mouth lessen; after six appointments, my jawline is tight, any hint of jowl that I had before is gone, and the lines around my eyes and mouth are significantly less. I've been seeing Anna for about a year and a half. She is the fourth acupuncturist that I have seen over the last ten years. I first came upon her based on her reviews but have stayed because of the results. My initial visits were because of severe upper back pain. None of my "normal" treatments were working so I tried acupuncture; something I've done in the past. After the first visit my back pain was actually bearable, and after three visits it was completely gone. Anna did a mix of acupuncture as well as cupping. I'm not a fan of the marks that cupping leaves, but it works, so I'm ok with it. I also have always had issues with digestion & heart burn. I decided to give Anna a shot at that too. Anna completely healed my shoulder in two visits! I had been suffering from constant pain in my left shoulder for approximately nine months. The pain was always there... Always uncomfortable, limiting and occasionally severe if I played golf or carried something with my left hand or my bag over my left shoulder... It even hurt driving. I had extremely limited range of motion, my arm pit was swollen, I couldn't sleep on my left side and had to cradle it just right in an attempt to ease the pain and fall asleep. Anna is truly a miracle worker! I have been seeing her on and off for over 7 years. Each time I go I come in with alot of ailments....and every time I leave with none. My first experience with Anna was about 7 years ago for my index finger. I am a massage therapist at a corporate company and the over use of my hand was going to wind me out of a job. When I went in I told her how I had to crack it constantly for the pain to go away. She pricked the tip of my finger and the blood that came out was the color of a deep red wine. She said it was this deep of a color because the blood was stagnant, hence the pain. After the treatment she re-pricked my finger and the color was a healthy pink/red. I was shocked with such transformation. It is 7 years later and the pain has never returned. My second appointment was this past week. I had a right foot injury due to running that I couldn't even put pressure on without pain. I used massage, ice, heat, stretching, and a ten's unit for weeks...alas the pain was persistent. Migraine headaches have plagued me for most of my life. I'm 50 years old now and figured this was how my life was going to be as I suffered through 3 or 4 migraines a week, and I mean suffered! I had been to various doctors, including the Stanford neurological department where they wanted me to be part of a study using a new treatment for migraines. I opted out as I didn't like the risk involved. I've tried preventative medications like verapamil, dopamax, and used max alt, and sumatriptan at the onset of a migraine. I was recommended to try acupuncture, which I did about 4 years ago to no avail, tried it again with another clinic, to no avail. But last year I was talking with a coworker that recommended Anna. So in January of 2016 I decided to try Anna since she is so close to my home. After one visit my life began to change: At my first visit, Anna asked me about my diet, exercise, and what I felt caused my migraines to occur. She decided to start my treatment with cupping - which I never tried. After cupping, I turned over and she needled my fingers, ears, lower leg and foot, and forehead, but not in uniform fashion like other acupuncturists performed on me. After treatment was over I felt pretty good, but I new the real test was going to be decided over the next few days.
