From the initial design process with Danielle we felt at home with her guidance, and she made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. Danielle was extremely knowledgeable, and put us on the right path with regard to our budget, design expectations and really helping us to understand how the entire process works. Right from the beginning, we knew we had reached out to the right company. Then came the build process, in which we were fortunate enough to work with Steve Costa who not only juggled a third-floor walk-up, a building from the late 1800s, but also an extremely pregnant woman who was keen on getting this project off the ground and completed as quickly as possible. Steve led a fantastic group of NKB employees and subcontractors, but I would be remiss to not give a special shoutout to John and Mike who were our dream team carpenters, kitchen décor experts, and mental support during the project. Our dog clearly misses Steve, John and Mike as they became best friends it seems during the project. Additionally, Kelsea from the PMA team was a huge help in keeping the schedule/accounting on track for us. We were THRILLED with the final product (photos attached), and we are so very thankful for all of the hard work of the entire NKB team to bring our dream bathroom to life (before the baby, may I add)! StoneTops For Less, Rueben…read more I have been meaning to write a review of these guys for a while. It has been a few years since they did my bathroom stone, and I was very happy with it. This last year I went back to them for my kitchen stone and installation. (They do both). Not only did they do a good job, but they went out of the way to help me. I had found a couple of remnants at another stone yard, and they picked up those on the way here. They were for my laundry room and my built-in desk. Rueben is a man of integrity with whom I would do business again, if I had any more places to put stone.

When she found out I wasn't going to use Lowes to install it she informed me she couldn't work with me anymore. My brother in-law suggested discount kitchens and told me to speak to Jim Woodward. Jim came out to the house and made some excellent suggestions and came up with a great design. He showed us cabinet options and we went with Forevermark cabinets and couldn't be happier. My brother in-law installed them. They look great! I asked Jim for a good granite house for the counter tops. He suggested a local company in Weymouth. We love our kitchen! And it was far less for materials than Lowes!

The layout was perfect! We went in to view the cabinet options. Jim was very forthcoming and showed us a few options. We went with his first choice and couldn't be happier. When it was time for counter tops Jim suggested a few folks for us to visit. We went with a local company and couldn't be happier. The price we got for our cabinets that have a plywood box, not particle board was less expensive than Lowes! Forget the big box stores, Discount Kitchens is a better deal with personalized service.

BUYER BEWARE. This is by far the worst vendor I've ever dealt with. Their products are substandard…read moreand their business practices are questionable and unethical. When I had my kichen and bathroom remodeled a couple years ago, I purchased cabinets from Aisen Cabinetry - the options seemed more plentiful than a couple other places I went to, and the prices were reasonable. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is definitely true in this case. Don't get me wrong, the cabinets LOOK nice enough; however, about 6 months afterwards, all of the cabinet doors either developed huge cracks or the wood expanded from the seams. I called the company to report this issue. The ower's wife, Mrs. Tan, actually acknowledged that they had already received several complaints about this problem, and that as soon as she could sort out her husband's schedule, she would call me back to arrange an appointment for Mr. Min GeTan (the owner whom I dealt with throughout the purchase process) to come by to take a look and replace them as needed. Great, I thought. Needless to say, the call never came. I phoned back a couple weeks later and got the run-around and was told that they were awaiting a new shipment to arrive from China before they would be able to replace the existing set of cabinets that were sold. Over the past year I've called no fewer than six times in attempts to arrange an appointment with Mr. Tan and have gotten the brush-off each time with the same excuse of "we're still waiting for the shipment to arrive from China." This must be the slowest cargo ship on earth. As if it's not enough to sell substandard quality products, the craftsmanship is equally shoddy. One of my kitchen drawers sits unevenly as a result of misaligned drilled holes. I'm not going to hold my breath on them ever returning my calls, much less coming by to inspect the horrendous quality of their cabinets and drawers. It's a terrible thing to feel cheated and taken advantage of, and each day when I walk into my kitchen and bathroom, I'm reminded of that. I've learned my lesson for sure. When (not if) I replace my cabinetry in the near future, I will know to: 1) Ask where the products originate. Had I known they were manufactured in China, I would have walked away. 2) Not buy from untrustworthy people. I should've seen the signs along the way, but I was green at the whole remodeling thing, and I blame myself for that. Save yourself the headache and heartache and learn from my mistakes. Run far far away from Aisen Cabinetry. Utterly disappointing in every way.
