My circumstances were such that I couldn't be at home for most of the construction, and yet through phone and texts, I was able to stay abreast of the construction. I went to this location to have work done on my kitchen. I met with a designer and gave her extensive measurements and photos of what I wanted done. I waited a full month and heard nothing from her until I complained to a manager. I then heard from her and was given a bunch of unprofessional excuses that were essentially that my project got lost in the shuffle of other work and nothing had been done on it. Very unprofessional and decided to work with another business. Stay away. read more

Malaika offered excellent recommendations and made several tweaks to help us stay within our budget while ensuring that we got the features, quality and look we wanted. She got back to us promptly and made sure we got our cabinets on schedule (no small feat with the current supply chain and labor shortages). I was referred here by one of my contractors for new kitchen cabinets. Sent an initial email with dimensions of the kitchen and received an email back saying that a designer would be in touch. A Leymarie Arroyo reached out shortly after with an estimate as well as images of what the design would look like. We scheduled an in person meeting to see the cabinets and get an idea of the process. Leymarie was very off putting and a bit rude. Still we were looking to move forward with Norfolk as we had heard decent things. We left asking if she could send us an estimate for the installation and she said she would. We were ready to purchase but never heard back from her so decided to look elsewhere. Ended up going to Home Depot and received better customer service and a better price. read more

Not a single person in kitchen and bath design when my husband and I arrived. We went there to purchase a bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet. Woman was so rude! Couldn't even give us 10 min of time. Had photos, measurements in hand and even the cabinet sample we wanted. She told us they don't carry that line and it's listed on their website. I got the "I've been here a long time" line. We said we could go with another cabinet line but wanted something similar. She was very short and curt. No reason for the attitude at all. See you later. I was directed here by my contractors when looking for good solid cabinetry for a kitchen remodel. I ordered $6000.00 worth of Armstrong cabinets and went on my way. The only issue was the interior finish on some open shelving was not correct. My heart sank as I prepped for a battle with the folks at Norfolk. Boy was I surprised! Not only did they solve the problem with brand new and correctly matched cabinets. The promised it in 10 days so my remodel would barely be affected by the problem. Can't keep appointments, lack of associates in the stores on weekends. If you do happen to go into the store on the weekend be prepared to be ignored. I was in the store for 30 mins while the associate John ignored me and continued to answer the questions of other patrons despite making eye contact with me several times. We worked with Merry Ao at Boston/Dorchester to plan our second upstairs bathroom. We were converting a small room into a bathroom. She was excellent in helping us design it and pick fixtures that fit our taste and budget. Our first quote came in higher than we had budgeted and Merry and her staff worked with us to pare it down. Work started in the end of January 2020 and Derek and all the inhouse workers and subcontractors worked in sync and efficiently. Throughout the demo and construction cleanup was done each night and they worked to contain the dust etc of construction. The major work was done in midMarch right before the coronavirus shutdown. Thus we were able to fully use the new bathroom and final inspection passed with flying colors. We are very pleased with the new bathroom and all the work done by all those involved. When the phone don't ring, it's NKB. First off, let me say this is a review of the Wood Rd., Braintree location. Approx. 8 weeks ago, I contacted Norfolk K+B to get the ball rolling on an estimate for a kitchen remodel. I made an appt. for a Saturday to talk to one of the sales people/designers after having them recommended by a co-worker. After the initial meeting, my wife and I left feeling this had been a good recommendation. The designer came by our house the next week for measurments. Two weeks later, after not hearing anything, I called wondering if he had anything yet. No response. A week later, I left another message. No response. A week after that, I stopped back in to the showroom on Wood Rd. and spoke to the designer again who then told me he was sending his contact info to to my emaill address (not sure why, but OK). Another week goes by, I send an email. No response. At this point, I usually would have moved on long ago, but I liked thier products and they did come highly recommended. I went to thier website and clicked on the "Send us a message" link requesting that if they weren't interested in the project to just let me know. The next morning at 8:00am, I received a call where the person on the other end of phone told me this was highly unusual and assured me that I would be contacted that day. Insert cricket noises here _______. That was well over a week ago and I have since moved on. Please note that this is a review of the design/sales people and not the products or installation folks, both of which I can only assume must be of such a high caliber it allows NKB to only choose the most deserving of clients. Alas, I was not one of them, although I was (and am) ready to proceed with this remodel. So, if you're one of the "Chosen", let us know how it goes. Meanwhile, I'll put up with my 1980 outdated kitchen a little longer while my new designer puts the finishing touches on his plan. read more

I purchased Eastman St Woodworks cabinets from Norfolk Kitchen and Bath. I was very pleased with the service, kitchen design and the quality of the cabinets. On delivery day, one of the cabinets did not fit through the doorway. I called the manager and he immediately sent out a carpenter to my house to help us get the cabinet into the house. It all worked out perfectly. read more

I also came here on the advice of my contractor. Unfortunately my experience was not even close to the other person. I am remodeling a small basement apartment and had a tricky layout that required some modifications to the cabinets to make them fit. For this reason I needed a fairly decent wood cabinet, I was willing to pay more to get a better end product. I ordered the cabinets in the middle of November explaining that the new tenant would be moving in on January 1st. I was assured at that time they would be In, no problem. unfortunately there was a problem and here it is January 30th and I am still waiting for parts of the upper cabinets and the side panel for my fridge. The most frustrating part is the lack of communication. I have multiple emails saying I will get back to you in a day or two and then never hear back from anyone leaving me to have to chase them down a week after they were supposed to get back to me. I worked in customer service for several years and understand that you can't always give the customer what they want. I even understand that some circumstances can be out of the control of the sales person. What I don't understand is the complete disregard for the customer. At least have the curtesy to call the customer and let them know you are still working on their behalf to resolve the problem. I called this morning to speak to my sales person David Brodin. I asked was he in, the very nice woman that answered said yes, asked my name and then to hold while she connected me. She promptly came back on the line saying he was not available. Of course not he dose not want to speak to me I am a problem he doesn't want to deal with. She offers to put me through to voicemail. I explained to her that was not really working for me could I speak to a manger, she said she would help with this. After explaining the situation she assured me she would absolutely get back to me today. The day is over and no call from anyone. I would love to say I am surprised but I am not. I unfortunately am stuck but for any of you that are considering them for your remodel I would reconsider. I am remodeling all of the kitchens in my newly acquired 3 family, the basement unit I just did was the first of 4 new kitchens. My sales person was aware of this when we began this project and that did not seem to motivate him. I would be VERY WORRIED if I only had one kitchen to remodel. read more
