I went to their website to get a quote for a move-out cleaning. Received a reply back and schedule an appointment via email a week in advance. I called the company the day before our appointment to confirm, but ended up leaving a voicemail and did not receive a call back. The next day I waited until 10 minutes later than the schedule time of arrival to call again to see if they were coming. I was told that my appointment was never written down and that they would be unable to come out today. Lacey was extremely apologetic and really sorry about the mix up. She did ask what she could do to make it right, which I very much appreciated. She offered us two hours of free cleaning on another day, but unfortunately we needed service that exact day since it was a move-out cleaning and we were handing the keys to our landlord the following day. She ended up moving some things around in her schedule to make it out to our house on the same day a couple hours later than the originally scheduled time. Again, the extra effort to correct the mistake is greatly appreciated and worth noting. She also offered us a discount on one of the extra services we ordered, which amounted to about $40 off. My husband and brother-in-law were sitting at our completely empty house all morning waiting for the anticipated appointment. This amounted to about 3-4 hours of wasted time, which in my opinion is worth more than $40.00 but it is what it is. Once Lacey did arrive around noon, however, the cleaning job was excellent. The cleaners worked for about 4 hours. Our landlord was very impressed. The service itself is not the reason why I am rating two stars. We explained that we would be needing the invoice that same night, since our landlord wanted a copy when we handed the keys back. At about 6:00 PM that evening I gave Lacey a call to confirm she would be sending the invoice over. Her voicemail inbox was full so I was unable to leave her a message. At that time, I sent her an email and then also a text message to confirm. We did end up receiving the invoice that night. The main reason for my two-star rating is not at all the cleaning - which was excellent - but rather the lack of communication and organization. While our cleaning did end up getting done, the process leading up to it and obtaining the receipt afterward was so much more stressful than necessary. The miscommunication about our appointment may have been resolved if my confirmation call/voicemail the day before had been returned. Also, it would have been great to see an invoice on site when the cleaning was being done or right afterward. I understand not being able to answer the phone immediately during the day. We all work. But I do think it is important to ensure your voicemail inbox is not full for your business phone number. Anyway, to summarize: Excellent cleaning service; Sub-par customer communication. The two-star option says, "Meh. I've experienced better." I am going with that. read more

I own a rental property in Moreno Valley and had some tenants who left a horrible mess when they left. Having lived there for more than a year, the tenants left the house looking like they never took a mop or scrubbing brush any to the bathrooms, bedroom and kitchen. There were mold, dirt, and even roach stains all over the house. Given the disgusting conditions of the home, I had very low expectations that the house would look anywhere close what it did before the prior tenants moved in. Looking through yelp was also a bit of a hassle given the low number of reviews left by people in this area, so I struggled a bit to gauge how well of a service I would find. I called Lacey and to do a "move-out cleaning". Both her and Megan came by and did an AMAZING job on the house. When the first bathroom was clean, my brother and I both walked over and our jaws dropped. My brother's words were "Wow. I did not think they were going to be able to clean that". We were shocked at how clean they had left the bathroom (you can see the pics for yourself). The same work carried over to the other rooms and the rest of the house. It took tons of bleach and ammonia to clean the floors and counter tops but they left the place looking amazing. It took approximately 4 hours to do the whole house. I contacted Maid in the USA for a move-out clean for my home in Temecula. I had lots of questions and Lacey was very quick to return them (I'm surprised reviews say otherwise). I had 4 ladies show up at 9:30 and they left at 1:30. They completely surpassed all expectation and the house (3200 sq ft, 3 baths) looked better than it ever has! The ladies did everything from the blinds, windows, baseboards, scrubbing grout and tile to the fridge and oven for CHEAP!!! They were very delightful and sweet. Awhile back we hired Maid in the USA to clean the downstairs of my dads home where my grandmother lived. Trust me when I say they had their work cut out for them with a stinky Bassett hound living there. Haha They take their time and are very thorough. And most importantly the stinky Bassett hound smell is subdued. But in all honesty, the best part is how sweet Lacey (the owner) and her girls are to my nana. I was completely disappointed with the quality of cleaning they provided. My house is already very clean but I needed their service to come and do a "Deep" clean on the items I don't have time to do on a daily basis. Such as dusting, cleaning the shower thoroughly, sweeping and mopping stone floors, wiping off light switches from kids dirty hands, the stove, appliances, etc. They left me disappointed in all of these areas and more. After a couple hours of cleaning they said they were done. I looked around and found the master bedroom shower still dirty. Dust in every room. I pointed out dust on a dresser, a side table, lamps and lamp shades, picture frames. Dust everywhere! They attempted to go around and fix things as I pointed them out. Then after they left I noticed that the kitchen floor was still dirty and sticky. Then I looked at it closer and saw tons of crumbs everywhere. I got my broom out and swept the floor. I swept up several piles of crumbs and dust that had accumulated since the last time I swept weeks ago. I paid a lot of money for a supposed "Deep" clean and they couldn't even sweep my floor!! The main reason why this cleaning service is THE BEST is because not only do they do general cleaning (bathrooms, floors, bedrooms, blinds, etc.) they do things other cleaning company's can't or won't do; they have done my dishes, folded my laundry, organized my kids playroom, organized my pantry (throwing away old/expired food, shifting things that would expire soon to the front etc.), and switched out the summer clothes and put in winter clothes in my girls' dressers. I can usually find time to clean the main things (bathrooms, floors, vacuum etc.) but its those tedious things that end up becoming so time consuming and over powering, i usually ignore them altogether. As far as the call backs (or lack there of) that is unfortunate, but i can respect the fact that she offered a discount and chose not to "delete the comment" and leave it so everyone's opinion is heard. However, if the worst part of doing business with her is not getting a call back, i would urge you to try again. Her work will not be outdone! read more

I've used Maid in the USA a few times...here's my take at it. 1. Customer Service gets a 5 out of 5: Lacey was responsive by email and phone within 24 hours of contacting her. She has very detailed information and pricing when she gives you a quote. The girls that come to clean were very nice and respectful. 2. The Actual Cleaning gets a 5 out of 5: The ladies who came over did an amazing job cleaning all the designated areas. I have no complaints at all. 3. Pricing is my chief complaint 2 out of 5: Again, she is very upfront with the price of her service. Her two girls came over, cleaned parts of my house in 1hr30min and I paid them $140 excluding tip. BTW, thats about $93 hour she was charging me....I've had other quotes that are about 30% - 40% less for the entire house not just a few rooms. Bottom Line: Great customer service and they really do a great job. Unfortunately, Maid in the USA has priced themselves out of my repeat business (even with the repeat business price). read more

What can I say? My very first experience with Maid in the USA was amazing. I found them on Yelp when looking for housekeeping services for my home. I filled out the simple online request for a quote to clean my home and had a detailed with estimate via e-mail the next morning. I set up my first appointment, it was a little difficult to find a time that worked on both ends but Lacey kept working with me until we figured it out. The day of the cleaning 2 ladies arrived on time and ready to work. They brought all of there own supplies and performed their service timely and thoroughly. I did choose 2 of the large add on services and one of the was FREE! My children's rooms were clean beds made and their bathrooms SPOTLESS! They did a great job with our move out cleaning BUT the scheduling was a nightmare. I asked for a quote online and on the phone and no one would get back to me for days even though each time i called they said i would get a quote by 5pm. After over a week i finally got a hold of someone through their facebook page. I scheduled the cleaning and then they sent me an invoice with the wrong date! Had to call again and sort things out. What cleaning service "overlooks" a nice sized makeup spill on a tiny restroom floor that they supposedly swept and mopped? And what service doesnt even wipe down the 1 and ONLY livingroom window sill? Oh thats right, this one does! My home was broken into and I wanted a fresh clean house before i came back home from staying with family so I hired them to do the master bedroom and bathroom living room and kitchen. I was not there when they cleaned and i left a blank check for them to take and the price would be discussed after the cleaning was done. When I got home I walked in and noticed there were little things on the floor like it had not been swept only to look down my hallway that is connected to the livongroom) and is all of 6ft and see spots on the floor because it had not been mopped or swept.(later i was told that i did not ask them to clean the hallway) The house has been dusted minus the huge window in the livingroom. ( that was not even touched, I know because i live on a dirt road) the master bedroom was clean and organized with the clothes neatly folded and put into piles on the bed and the bathroom had been cleaned minus the floor where there was the same tile square covered in spilled makeup! I called and debated over the phone with lacey. after I sent her pictures of what the girls did not do, she still wanted to charge me $171. I disagreed with the price she was charging me for the service that was done so she told me she would only take off $15. She had the proof but did not want to admit that her girls did a horrible job so after arguing on the phone with her for about 15 minutes and explaining that not only would I be out $156 but I had to go back and clean my home again so she finally said that she would lower the price once again. I just looked in my bank account and saw the cashed check made out for $156 which is not what we agreed upon and lacey has yet to return my call. Im furious!! read more

I hired Lacey for a move-out service couple weeks ago. The price she quoted me was quite expensive but I accepted because I don't mind paying more if she could do a great job. She showed up by herself and told me she needed four hours to finish the work after she looked around the house. I was skeptical because I don't think the house can be cleaned in four hours by only one person. I returned to the house four hours later and was very upset because a lot of areas are NOT cleaned. I told Lacey I wasn't satisfied because a lot of areas are still dirty. However, she insisted that was the best she could do and refused to spend more effort on it. I ended up paying her $240 for the poor service (1600 square footage house) and had to clean the house by myself the following weekend! First time using this cleaning company after receiving a few referrals for them and I can say that I am not impressed. Hired them to do a Move Out/Move In cleaning. They broke the toilet seat in the bathroom and didn't say anything, didn't dust the window seals, left some of the blinds in the house a mess and didn't mop or clean the kitchen floor or any of the bathroom floors. They even missed cleaning out the kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets which is why I chose the move out/move in cleaning. The house was not messy to begin with, just dusty so I am not sure why so much stuff was missed when cleaning especially when you have 3-4 people cleaning. this is my first time using this service and i am pretty satisfied. when i called lacey and left a message, she returned my call within 30 minutes. lacey quoted me $182 for my 2-story 1600 sq ft home. the girls arrived at the estimated time and it took them about 2.5 hours to finish. they did a good cleaning job of everything, all my appliances, furniture, bathrooms, etc. (i don't think my microwave has ever been this clean!) they had all their supplies with them and even humored my toddler who "helped" them a little. i think i will use them again if needed. thank you guys! read more
