Jennifer was so cool and personable she stayed up and waited til we got in (we are from California so it took a bit to get there) and on top of that, she made THE BEST breakfasts. Everything felt like it was from scratch. They also have an awesome dog named Fiona on site that was an unexpected, delightful surprise. The room itself was extremely organized and clean. Had so many amenities like WiFi, a basket containing stuff you may need if you forgot, robes, a tv, etc. The bathroom was top tier as well. Bed was comfortable and felt so large for two people it was awesome. The food: she had a menu that gave you a preview of what was included in the breakfasts which is so insanely convenient. There's a coffee stand and a dessert table in the central room that was *chef's kiss* and everything was so fresh! (Jennifer if u read this ur killin the game) The property: the place itself is seated on a pretty large chunk of land that has these cute trails I walked with my boyfriend. It felt private and was so beautiful. They also had a recommendation list of places nearby because it's kind of located "in the middle of nowhere" so that was nice especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Lastly, they had a sauna on the property that was to die for! If I ever want an escape from reality, I'm definitely coming back here! Sorry it took so long to do this review!!

The amenities were luxurious and they were accommodating and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the Journey Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend. From the large bedrooms equipped with mini refrigerators, luxurious cloud-like mattresses, plush bathrobes, make-up towels, and even hair wraps made us want to stay longer. With family, we were able to spend time in the common area where we had snacks and enjoyed the new coffee bar. The surrounding countryside views were breathtaking and peaceful. We look forward to returning when we have more time to explore the nature walking paths, local shops, spa and trout fishing.

Really cool inside how you could see the people below, as you were above. The outdoor shelter where the food was, was large, open, and spacious. They had great outdoor facilities for restrooms and sitting areas. They also have a bed/breakfast on site. We didn't stay there, but the wedding party did. The outside seemed so pretty, so I can only imagine what the inside looked like. One of the owners/planners really helped my BF with getting bandaids, as he had new shoes that caused blisters. He was super thankful they had those on hand! Thank you for those!

Bonfire spots for small groups to get together and catch up, dinner spot did not disappoint either. I would definitely recommend couples to check out this venue for your special day because I feel every season in MN would be spectacular at Round Barn. If I could give a suggestion for improvement it would be this, a private bathroom for handicap patrons. My parents had to leave early due to an issue and a private bathroom with wheelchair accessibility would have been helpful for a caregiver and her spouse. Then they wouldn't have missed their granddaughters first dance. I can only hope I attend another wedding here in the future.

For us, life is very busy and hectic and what we get from a weekend at the Pratt Taber is priceless: warm and cozy comfort and relaxation. The hosts Deb and Ron are witty and kind without being overbearing or too chatty. The coffee is wonderfully strong and the food really top notch. The linens and beds go the extra mile to make you comfortable and it's the little extras that make us feel so at home. And the price is reasonable for what you get, costing less than other boutique hotels in the area. Five stars, no hesitation! I hope this gem stays open long enough for us to come back a few more times because it's truly the best weekend we could imagine each time.

My gf and I on a whim were looking for a weekend/overnight get away. Actually, I had wanted to do…read moresomething special for her for Christmas, but not something material. Then I got Covid. When I got better, I thought more about what I wanted to do and decided on escaping from the cities even for a day. Eventually, choosing the town of Red Wing. It had been a long time since our last va-ca, and giving ourselves ample opportunity to do so throughout the year is important to us. At first, I looked at the hotels in the area, but nothing felt right. Then had the idea of staying at a B & B (Bed and Breakfast.) We began our search and when we saw the Pratt Tabor Inn and read the reviews, went over their website, something in both of us felt good, like the Universe compelled us to try this out. It would be my first time and for my gf it had been years since she went to a b&b with her family. When we arrived, we met Ron, and right away our conversation felt lively and warm. He helped get us situated and settled and the rest as they say was history...I'm a strong believer in my later years that the Universe places people, events, and experiences in your life that aligned with how you want to live your life. I wanted this get-away to be about relaxing and sharing our love for each other, ourselves, and others! And it definitely was. Instead of writing an epic story, which I totally could, I'll list off the highlights of our stay. -Incredible atmosphere -Ellie, Buddy, and Max!! -Wonderful hospitality -Lovely time over Wine, Cheese, Conversations -Amazing dinner suggestions in town, including what to order! -Deb and Ron - delightful human beings -We love sitting down with people to share stories. I loved that both Ron and Deb created the time and space for us to engage with them, as much as we wanted to. -beautiful rooms -fireplace (not real wood) -Popcorn -relax environment -breakfast, coffee, dessert oh my!! So good. So much care. -Bottle of champagne! And flowers (yes it's extra but so worth it!) -Beds -Autumn room I have too many great things to say about Pratt Tabor Inn, but I think the memory I will take with us this first time here was the love, care, and story. Deb's story is powerful! You can tell the love that radiates this B&B and how that love is transported to all the guests who come through the doors. Thanks Ron and Deb, Ellie, Buddy, and Max. Thank you for being you and wanting to take care of your guests, like family. We can't wait to return to learn more about each other. Big hugs, Pete and Emily

Chateau Ramy is named after it's sole proprietor Mr. Ramy, and it's kitchen is run by Executive Chef Mr. Brian. It's located within a few minutes of Menomonie's greatest attractions, it's bars and shops downtown. Chateau Ramy has plenty of off-street parking, but if you decide not to drive which is wise if you've been drinking with Menomonie cops sucking so bad, a cab ride to and from downtown bars is a low cost option at around $11-13. Chateau Ramy is small but makes efficient use of its space. When my party checked-in, the host/owner greeted us promptly at the door, although luggage service was not offered, the close parking didn't make it too much of an inconvenience. Once checked in, I was offered a refreshing complimentary alcoholic beverage which I gladly accepted. Once all settled in, Executive Chef Brian brought us out a base meal, which is the meal one eats before they consume copious amounts of alcohol to stave off extreme hangovers. The base meal consisted of fine cheese spreads, exotic crackers and delectable sausages and tomatoes with a little pizza mixed in. While we ate, we were entertained by friendly banter and a good old fashioned drinking game of hockey. After the game, we ventured out downtown and returned to blown-up air mattresses in the living room that were more than sufficient to slumber on. Then in the AM, after handling a brief morning accident, Chef Brian served us breakfast which was the prefect way to wake up to a class 2 hangover. From what I can remember as my body digested the last of the alcohol remaining in my belly from the night before, breakfast was amazing with small potatoes, eggs, and bread with french pressed coffee on the side being served. We departed soon after to watch the Packer game at the Ale House, who's food sucks by the way, but that for a different review. I would highly recommend this hidden gem known as Chateau Ramy and the food mastery of Executive Chef Brian. Their team work to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable was second to none and we plan on coming back many more times in the future. My only complaint whatsoever is that this B&B is not wifi friendly, although Chateau Ramy has wifi, he would not provide his password claiming he didn't know it, but I assume it's the same password he uses for all of his other passwords and doesn't want to give that sensitive information up, also known as a George Costanza move.

When I arrived on Saturday, I was informed that I missed the Welcome Orientation that was scheduled for me on Friday. At this orientation, I missed receiving my welcome packet which included a suggested itinerary and the tour of facilities by Mr. Ramy himself. Although I was disappointed I missed this important information, I did not feel that it decreased the enjoyment of my stay. As others had mentioned in their reviews, the evening cocktail reception with appetizers and the morning breakfast were superb! I felt that the Chateau did not advertise these perks enough, but they were certainly a welcomed surprise! Although there were some issues with my bed, which for some unknown reason had the plug removed during the night, the stay was cozy and relaxed. I appreciated that the Cheateau allowed for a late check-out and that the housekeeping services were efficient and abundant. I completely recommend this Chateau for your overnight stay in Menomonie. Not only are the views breathtaking from the front entrance, but the host(s) are welcoming and accommodating. The dollar value of the stay, cannot be surpassed!

The experience you get staying in their B&B and hanging out in the brewpub will make your visit to this charming town absolutely unforgettable. They are hospitality experts and their kindness and support to their guests, community, and neighbors is outstanding. They deserve 20 out of 5 stars! You won't find kinder people, a more delicious breakfast, or a better stay anywhere. The B&B is beautiful, cozy, and inviting. You'll quickly feel at home and have a hard time leaving. (I threatened to never leave!) We cannot wait to come back. We, and the other guests, all commented on how incredibly comfortable the beds are. The blankets are SO warm, and on a chilly winter night, it's the perfect way to get cozy and warm. The decor of the room and bathroom was incredible! If we were staying the weekend, I would have treated myself to nice mineral bath in the gorgeous clawfoot tub. The original wood floors in the bathroom and throughout the house are exquisite. BREAKFAST. Oh. My. Heavenly. Goodness. To say Brenda is multi-talented is an understatement. One of her many talents is being a wizard in the kitchen. Her local bacon (seasoned two ways), homemade granola with yogurt and berries, stuffed French toast bake, and hand-crafted spread are THE way to start your morning. I feel spoiled after one day. And sitting around the table with guests and neighbors will make you feel like a local. Then there's the brewery!! Turning Waters Back Alley Brewery / Hoppy Girl Brewing.... We are so excited to have them in town! We've been to about 113 breweries around the state and country, and this one easily makes the top 10, if not higher. Ford's beers are exceptional! The Mango Milkshake IPA, Salted Caramel Russian Imperial Stout, Triple Black IPA, and Bourbon Barrel Aged Belgian Dark Beer were all 5 out of 5 stars. I'd drink those until they run out and never get sick of them. The hospitality they show out there is outstanding. The awesome snacks, delicious pizzas (don't miss this!), games, and variety of craft beers on tap will make you never want to leave. We can't wait to come back this summer and enjoys some brews outside! Best choice you could make in Wabasha? Come to Turning Waters and turn no where else. We could not recommend this place more highly!
