That ended by contracting MaidPro to come perform a miraculous move-out cleaning in a home that is over a century old and curiously capable of producing its own dust and dirt without any human or animal intervention. The team: Ashley, Lindsey, and Tony far exceeded my expectations, especially given the craziness of moving. They were professional, thorough, detail-oriented, flexible and accommodating, and -- best of all -- super, super friendly! It was such a joy to host them. Very disappointed in this company I requested a professional deep clean on a rental town house after renters left. Maid Pro had to be called back for a 2nd time as they did not - sweep mop floors, cabinet doors needed recleaned, oven needed recleaned, they did not clean glass light shades over kitchen counter, did not do carpets, etc. etc., they did an awful job. Would have called them back a 3rd time but I figured it was no use. For the amount of money they charge the service was unacceptable! Will not use this company again. DO NOT TRUST REVIEWS I hired MaidPro for a bi-weekly service. The first clean was supposed to be a 2-4 hour deep clean. The cleaners were at my house for 1 hour and the majority of the checklist was not complete including basics such as clean countertops, baseboards and dusting on surfaces. I called the owner immediately after. He confirmed I would be refunded and my service canceled, and even offered a 50% off re-clean. I politely declined the re-clean and said if there was a need in the future, I'd call. One month later... I was charged and received a scheduled cleaning appointment reminder. None of what the owner said he would do was done. When I called back to review what we discussed, he was rude and completely lied and said the complete opposite as to what he previously said he'd do as my house was never re-cleaned and I was charged. I have used this cleaning service since 2018 and had to cancel my service in 2023. The pro would do great jobs when cleaning different areas. Sometimes, they would miss an area, and it was no problem for another crew to return and clean that missed area. They arrive during the scheduled arrival time. Just like all businesses, you have your ups and downs, but due to the owners' unprofessionalism when speaking to me, we canceled our service. If your cleaners damage a customers property, it should be handled in a timely manner. It should not take 2 to 3 months to get a resolution to an issue that happened by your workers. This was the main reason for our cancellation. Unfortunately, I had to get my husband involved because the owner was speaking to me unprofessional and causing me unnecessary stress. Awful experience. I received a gift card from a family member and I'm so sorry they waisted their money on this business. The first cleaning was the worst I've ever had, we couldn't even tell they cleaned anything and they left dirty rags and a dirty magic eraser in my bathroom. After I complained, the owner called me back and offered another cleaning and the next set of people did a very average job. Dirty dishes were left in my sink both times (front desk staff said they were supposed to wash them). The cleaning staff seems very lazy and doesn't pay attention to the details at all. I have had maid pro twice. The first time I had 3 ladies come. they did do a good job, however they did not dust everything and there are dust front of my bed and behind furniture and doors. I keep hearing about the 49 points, nobody ever told me about that. I like very much having this done, but if you are not going to do what needs to be done, I will get someone else to do it or do it myself. please listen to us. and do the job right, you will get the best of review if you do. read more

I truly feel I have been taken advantage of and I hope that others are aware of their dishonesty. Update: They have STILL not given us a refund for overcharging our credit card. After a recent cleaning at my home I was completely unsatisfied with the cleaning I received. There were cobwebs left is left and In a bathroom toilet that was left dirty. There was also multiple floors that were not cleaned. I would also caution you to be cautious is cautious about any agreement it's agreement that you enter into through their national call center. My initial experience with Maid pro was pretty good.One pro arrive and cleaned for 4 hours before the other 4 arrived.I had additional work that needed to be done and the ladies graciously completed it even though it was not on their list. I was quite pleased until I realized they didn't hit all of the 49 points on the checklist as promised when you book your clean. During the second clean I mentioned it to the new set of ladies some the same as before and it still was not done when they left, I then called the office to place a complaint. Today's pros arrived with notes that these items should be given extra care this time. 3/4 Upon their arrival I was sure to reinterate what I had with the office and they assured me they were on top of it. My main area consists of 6 rooms and a bathroom these pros "finished" all 6 rooms within an hour meaning they could not have possibly cleaned all 49 points in every room. When I noticed a few things that were incomplete, I went upstairs where they were now cleaning and overheard one of the pros calling me "crazy" for insisting that they complete all 49 points for this clean. Shortly after I received a call from the owner Chris to ask how my current clean was going. Clearly upset and disappointed that I was not receiving the service promised I expressed this to Chris. He informed me that he would send a more seasoned pro to review what had been done. After I spoke with Chris the ladies were visibly upset and congregated together to discuss amongst themselves the situation. When they finally came back downstairs claiming to be done with their work after only being at my 6,000 sqft home for less than 2 hours. I pointed out some areas they had missed one young lady told me she would take care of it. I went into my garage for all of 5 minutes, when I came back all pros were gone my front door was wide opened and all of the trash they were supposed to empty was left on my floor some still in the kitchen garbage can and in the foyer. I then called to speak with Chris and ended up leaving a messages with Meghan this was at 11am. I still have not heard from Chris or the pro that was supposedly coming to review what had been done or not done. I would not recommend this service the professionalism is lacking tremendously and you will not receive everything on the 49 point checklist they provide spot cleaning service at best.UPDATE 3/9, I noticed a cc authorization from MaidPro for the full amount for services unrendered, if you've viewed photos below. I called to inquire about the charge and left a message for Chris. He returned my call shortly after and had plenty to say about my "abusive" behavior towards his staff. Not only is this untrue, he continued and accused me of being a serial "bad review poster" on google to recieve free stuff? We've been using MaidPro for about 4 months now, and we have been pleased with the professionalism and quality of their services.

It has been just a little over two weeks since my MaidPro cleaning with Nikki and I'm still thrilled with the job that she did! That says a lot because we have an almost two year old and a dog (that sheds..)! Nikki worked very efficiently to clean and straighten up the entire house. I appreciated how careful she was with dusting around all our stuff and that she used my own hardwood floor cleaner and also cleaned my daughter's room first so that she could take a nap while Nikki worked on the rest of the house. #cantmissnaptime So she did a great job overall and for me the real test is: kitchen & bathrooms! Aka the hardest rooms of the house to clean... In the kitchen, I was impressed with how she got every crumb out. No crumbs on the floor or on the baseboards under the dishwasher or at the base of the fridge or in any of the corners. I have such a hard time finding the time and motivation to get to clean the little gap between the stove/oven and countertops... and no crumbs there! Not to mention that all the stainless steel appliances were smudge and fingerprint free and looked brand new. In the bathrooms, no water marks on the mirrors, no random hairs anywhere, no smudges on the chrome shower handles, etc! But most importantly (to me) she did an awesome job scrubbing the grout and returning it to white! We have hard water so calcium builds up pretty quickly and this is also something I am seldom motivated to do myself. I've only had my house cleaned professionally a handful of times, but this is something that usually gets overlooked but not by Nikki! This is my second cleaning with MaidPro and I'm so happy with them! I know that finding a cleaning company is hard and I know I'm not always satisfied with the cleaning so I wanted to share since they're 2 for 2 in my book! Thanks MaidPro :-) read more

When I first met with one of the owners to discuss my needs and expectations, he took time to make careful notes and ask questions. Swindlers and shyters- beware of the deceptive 'estimate' practices of their 'Sales Office' who apparently disregard detailed conversations of services to be rendered and are purely motivated to ring the cash register! Services discussed in detail and thought to be included in the quote were not in the work order. Then the local office called to say these would be extra! I repeatedly stated I just needed a ' move out cleaning' a service they offer as an option but looks like I got a 'deep cleaning' work order so they could bill more hrs. When I tried to resolve services/charges with the local office they basically blamed the Sales Office. I ended up ceasing their service mid completion and refuse to do business with deceptive cheats - you should too! Do yourself a favor and call some small town local company that books/ does their own work and stands behind it- these clowns don't! Cleaners themselves are professional and pleasant but likely getting swindled as well! Her care for detail and superior work ethic is second to none. She simply cares. She listens to what is important to YOU, the customer, and goes above and beyond. Disappointed in the quality of service and level of detail. We hired MaidPro to do a move in clean at our new house. We paid extra for the windows, oven and refrigerator just to get the entire house ready for our family to move in. The day that the cleaners arrived the house was empty so there was no clutter for them to contend with. The maids left with both mantles covered in a thick layer of dust, the stairs had bug carcasses and dirt on them and many of the windows sill still had dust and cobwebs on them. read more

I went with MaidPro after a terrible experience with MerryMaids. I have a single family home and only needed the master bed/bath, guest room, powder room, kitchen, family room, and foyer cleaned on an every-other-week basis. Each time MaidPro came out they missed something and I had to go back and clean it myself. They have a checklist they advertise but they don't really follow it as the last girl I had even said she checked off she "made the beds" and admitted all she did was fluff up the pillows. The shower floor, stairs, area rugs, and couch full of animal hair were continuously left completely untouched or half-a$$ed each time. I specifically asked that they clean the shower head and was told "it's too high for me to reach"...not the case, it's placed pretty standard and can easily be reached by me (I'm 5'5) and she was the same height! No attention to detail, no concern for higher traffic areas that might need a little extra attention. Do not use the unless you enjoy cleaning up after spending money on the cleaning people. read more

They cleaned pretty well and the women were nice, but they charge so much that it borders on the criminal. They charged me $300+ for routine cleanings and that was after calling to complain! They were supposed to do a "move in cleaning" but the people moving out had the house cleaned before they left. They charged the full amount anyway, (after saying they wouldn`t) then decided to just charge the same amount for the next routine cleaning too since they had my credit card. read more

We just moved into frederick and needed cleaning services (as you can imagine the move in mess) and had "TEAM JESSE" work on our home. Jesse M and Jesse R did great work. They were on time and the house was totally clean after I brought the kids home from their morning activities. The bathrooms were spotless, and our hardwood floors looked great. I left stainless steel cleaner and granite cleaner out for the kitchen which they used. Also, the house smelled really good. I have two toddlers and a dog and no one was bothered (no sneezing or itching) from the products. We are very satisfied! read more

NOTE: after I left this honest review the owner of this franchise (Chris) called me several times on my personal phone to unprofessionally "thank" me for leaving it. So be warned. If you are honest about your experiences you will provoke the ire of the owners who don't seem to understand that this is a true account of what happened and try to intimidate you. Perhaps a better use of their time is to provide better service.. I used this service for several months. I had a very expensive ring missing after a cleaning and house warming party and could not be sure that they were responsible (I had had a party as well but they were all friends and family) so I never contacted the company and stuck with them. My cleaners were sometimes the same people and I really liked one of them (Tonya) who did a great job. But they stopped sending two people despite my contract which stated that I would have two "PROs" as they are called twice monthly for 2 to 2.5 hours. The cleaning with one person for our 1650 square foot home took more like 3 to 3.5 hours and I have a dog who is a skittish rescue that I can't leave home alone with a stranger. I specifically asked for 2 people after only one was sent and was told that "one person is more accountable for their work." Yeeeahhh...right. So I would just make it a point to email every cleaning to verify that I would have the appropriate number of people. This past Friday I had an appointment at noon and needed to make sure my cleaning was done by then as I could not take my dog with me to the appointment. I asked for two people. I was told I would get two, ONE showed up a half hour late. I called the company. They said they were short staffed. She was there for over FOUR HOURS. I missed my appointment. I had to keep the dog entertained in the rain for over FOUR HOURS. I gave her 45 mins notice at one point and she said she would be done. I came back 50 mins later and she was still nowhere near done. Finally as I was about to miss another appointment I told her to go. She had not even mopped! My cleaning was incomplete. I called the company and asked not to be charged. They agreed but STILL CHARGED ME. I am now fighting with them to get it reversed. DO NOT use these people. They are struggling to keep staff and who has time to deal with that? Very inconvenient for the customer. read more

MaidPro is a fabulous housekeeping service. Their business model is that one or two of the same housecleaners always come to your home. It is not the typical maid service with a group of two or three cleaners with one to oversee them and can speak English. Not to mention, that the typical housecleaning service has different people who come to your home each time. Tonya is the housekeeper assigned to me. She is phenomenal. She does a great job on my floors. She changes my bed linens. I don't think that that is a standard task that they do, but it is just "me" in my household, so it is just one bed. She understands that I am somewhat disabled. Tonya is a very nice lady and a total professional. I look forward to having her take care of my housekeeping needs for a long time to come. My contact with management of the company is great, also. Chris and Marcia have been very helpful. read more
