They are very rude. They charge WAY MORE than they should for simple things. They tried to charge my mother FIVE DOLLARS to put a piece of tape on her box. She went over to PostNet and they did it for free, and had a smile on their face. At first I wanted to support this local business, but honestly it's not worth it. They are rude and have negative attitudes while they try to charge you way too much money. Won't be using them again. I used PV Postal for the first time to ship some items I'd bought online from the Phoenix area. I told them the items were antiques, and fragile, suggesting they consider shipping the items in separate boxes, as the items knocking against each other could get damaged. I was assured they would be well packed and not worth the extra money to ship separately. Anyways, I received my items, and boy were they poorly packed. One layer of bubble wrap around each, and not even taped to ensure the item stayed wrapped. A handful of packing peanuts had been placed in, providing almost no value. When I opened the package two items were out of the bubble wrap. Honestly, looking at it made me wonder how they survived the cross country trip. I won't use them again if I have business in the area. read more

If you're looking for the poorest possible packing, shipping, and customer service humanity has to offer, PV Postal is the obvious choice. They'll gladly put your items into a sandwich bag, toss them into a box of crumpled paper, and hope you receive your items undamaged. In the event your items don't survive the shipping company, the friendly staff at PV Postal will laugh at you and tell you to make an insurance claim, a claim that can easily be voided due to improper packing. PV Postal through its unabashed negligence shows blatant disregard for the personal property it ships and a contemptible attitude toward customers who call them out on it. This shipper is the sorriest excuse for a shipping company one can imagine. If you value your property, choose someone else. read more

These folks are absolutely wonderful. I'm located out of state and won some auction items in the Phoenix area. PV postal was one of the recommended shippers - they not only responded to my email immediately with a phone call, Caren made 2 trips to the auction house due to a foulup at the seller end, straightened out the problem and kept ,me in the loop the entire time. They also worked out a lower price with faster service than the other shipper. I have dealt with many shipping centers over the years and PV Postal treated me as well as one around the corner I've been dealing with for 20 years...and they'd never talked to me before this transaction. This is a nice, quick place to ship things. Yes, they charge a premium for stamps, bubble envelopes, tape,,,if you don't know that going in and it shocks you, go elsewhere. The guys are very cordial & competent. I personally prefer to stay far away from the Post Office, so this place is perfect for me. The people whining about the prices deserve to go stand in line. As far as packing, I wasn't there to see. Everything made it. Must have been packed adequately. read more

Totally unprofessional service. Charged $161.92 to send a 24x24x24 box which MIGHT be acceptable IF the items were carefully wrapped and packed so as to prevent damage in transit but they were just placed into the box with some pieces of torn cardboard between layers and packing peanuts poured around to fill the box. My dog could have packed the items better than that. I would not trust them with ANYTHING of value. These were items purchased at an online auction and I am telling the auction house I will not participate in ANY of their auctions in the future unless they have an alternate shipper. After reading other reviews it seems this level of service is the rule rather than the exception. I would give 0 stars if I could read more

The customer service is hit or miss depending on the the mood of the woman who is at the counter... for example, was just there the other day to drop off a few UPS packages (already labeled, taped up, and ready to go) and the woman at the counter had a serious attitude when we kindly asked for a receipt with tracking numbers. A few days before this, the same woman was rude and short with my Mom who was trying to send a piece of mail. The gentleman who I think owns the place is very sweet and a pleasure to interact with. My 80 year old Aunt recently made the decision to move to Whitefish, Montana but was struggling with getting all of her stuff up there. She is not hiring movers as she sold most everything, just needed a place to help her ship some large/awkward items and was looking for a place she could trust as this is a big move for her at her age. Most of her items are family heirlooms, lots of things that cannot be replaced. We struggled with going to a post office of UPS store worried they would not give these items the care and respect they deserved. We are SOOOO happy with our decision to use Shipping with Purpose....they were so kind and overly nice to my aunt I could see her anxieties and stress melt away as they helped her pack everything up. I have never been to this location before and it is a bit far from where I live, but I will be back. With how crazy the world is right now, it was refreshing to work with people who not only provided amazing customer service, but helped make my aunts move so much easier!! read more

I shipped a package via USPS from my business in New Mexico to a business with a mail box in this postal shop. The package disappeared. The tracking says it was delivered to this shop and that is where the tracking ends. The owner here said various things but then settled on "I sent it back", because he didn't recognize the employee's name on the label. There is no record of the scan that would have taken place when it was returned to the mail carrier. USPS said I would have had it back by now if this guy had returned it. Three phone calls to this guy yielded nothing but excuses. My business had a spotless shipping record before now. read more

Horrible to deal with. If you have anything fragile to send and want it arrive intact DO NOT take it here to ship. They apparently don't believe in utilizing bubble wrap or marking boxes "fragile". Antique, very fragile items were received in pieces. Because of the poor packaging, FedEx won't honor the insurance. The owner will not return phone calls to attempt to come to any kind of a resolution. The employee who did the terrible packing job, screens her calls, and is rude and insulting to the point of name calling and/ or simply hangs up. Not a good way to conduct business ....PLEASE take your business elsewhere. read more

Terrible attitude and service. Picked up my auction items without my consent. Packaged poorly resulting in items being damaged in transit. Insurance claim was denied, they stopped returning calls after that and still have not returned my items (item was sent back as a condition of the UPS claim processing).
