I have been using The UPS Store for shipping, notary services, and other services over the last many years. This is a convenient location with good service and hours. It's near where I live and on the way to and from work. I also appreciate it is near an Ace Hardware, Smart & Final, and near many great stores that I frequent. It's also an easy place to drop off mail at their courtesy Mail Drop. The hours are weekdays 8 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM, and Sundays 10 AM to 3 PM. I really appreciate it being open 7 days a week! I stopped by this location this past Saturday, and while I had a short wait to be assisted, the staff member working made it so easy to handle a strange situation where I had a package shipped via UPS to me in another state, and I had a prepaid label but the box was broken. I took the items I needed to mail back to Arizona and at The UPS Store, the staff member charged me for a new box and said she would find a box for me and pack everything and use the prepaid label. Other than the small box charge, I simply had to trust that she would take care of everything and mail it for me. I had worked with her before, and she had always been a huge help! This location has many services including document binding, faxing, mailbox centers, shipping centers, copy making services, printing, poster printing, and scanning. While of these services, I have only used the shipping center, I have also stopped here multiple times for Amazon returns, notary services, and even to just troubleshoot mail issues relating to The UPS Store locations. I have also enjoyed shopping for entertaining greeting cards and colorful packaging materials. This location can get very busy on a Saturday so plan accordingly . I prefer the easy in and out at this location . The staff is always pleasant and hard working. Once UPS takes the package they now own it and it's not fair to fault the store if something is delayed. It's a big system , as well as USPS and a lost package is a major issue. Package for USPS was dropped off and never found again. The UPS Store accepts packages for USPS but doesn't scan the acceptance of the package. .This policy makes it easy for anyone from the store or the post office to steal a package. In an effort to avoid delivery theft when I know that I will not be home I have had packages sent to this UPS store location (3 times) as an option by the retailer when purchasing items online. I was baffled on my most recent visit when I was asked why I had not sent the item to my home and was told that I could not have it sent to this UPS store. I explained that it was an option by the online retailer to have my order sent to an access point. The woman simply told me....NO, I cannot do that. I explained that I felt I did nothing wrong I simply took advantage of a service offered by the merchant. All the while she was literally clutching my package as if she were not going to allow me to have the item. Then she said...."I have no way of charging you". When I challenged this by explaining that shipping fees are paid by the consumer to the merchant (and then to UPS) or by the merchant to UPS (when shipping is free to the consumer) and that this agreement between the merchant and UPS allows consumers to choose an access point she again told me NO. I know that this is not common practice because I have used another UPS location near my work and often when I pick up my package there is a sticker on the item that reads "do not charge customer". After a few minutes she relented and gave me my package, but told me to have the items sent to my home and "do not have anything sent here". I contacted UPS and was told these individual UPS stores are franchises and that they are compensated when used as an access point. My point is this individual location seems to not want to participate in a service offered by UPS that is clearly part of their franchise contract. Proceed with caution! read more

Gates were locked up at destination and green slip was not left at gates So the person chased the UPS person for a couple of hours after my phone call to verify if they got the package . . After digging in story you really have nothing to do with it . The people live in an area out of town and driver did not take time to connect with destination . I stood in the store for 10 minutes watching them ignore me and then tell me my email didn't go through even though I had confirmation then once I decided I was gonna walk out magically the email. Never asked me what type of paper if I needed a color got mad at me when I said I needed color didn't tell me how much was charging me then yelled at another customer for him telling her like hi these packages aren't mine from Amazon And I know you have a barcode and he says I don't have one. They were delivered by mistake and then she goes well. Take them instead of just you know they fill it with Amazon I've ever had. They're more busy eating than caring about your time. read more

Very nice! I came here to return an item via Amazon. The line moved very fast. The employee I interacted with was really polite. Service was efficient too. She just scanned the code on my phone, placed my product in a mailing bag, and I was good to go. read more

I use this UPS store very often. I am able to just walk in and hand them my package. Last week my home printer was broken, I emailed my return label to the store. They printed for me just costing 50 cents. Amazing price! When I need a notary for anything they are always available. It is not necessary for making an appointment. TERRIBLE!!! They DO NOT ship packages out when they get them! They hold onto them for several days, regardless of the shipping you pay for, and send them out whenever they feel like it. I've had packages where I've paid 2-3x more for 2-day shipping (meaning the packages should be delivered IN 2 DAYS), and they don't even leave the facility for 2 days! I don't know what they're doing with the packages, if they're just hanging on to them for the fun of it or what, but this had adversely affected both me AND my customers! Bottom line, do not go to this location because they WILL NOT mail your packages until they feel like it, regardless of what you've paid. Extremely unprofessional. I have a UPS store much closer to my house and every time I go there I ask myself why and end up at this location on Tatum boulevard and Thunderbird road. The people there are always helpful and always suggestive of how to do it cheaper. The ladies there are always helpful and in a good mood I always leave their feeling that I was given good service and my package was sent at the best price I have nothing bad to say about this location at all. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Woman working counter not knowledgeable or helpful at all. Long line which is ok but she did not acknowledge or apologize for wait. We had big box to mail. She refused to sell us box and materials to pack. I asked three times for her to sell us box to pack it in. She kept saying Home Depot cheaper. LI MIN and Jawa are Fantastic, Phenomenal, Hardworking women with a True sense of service and Pride! No matter what time I go, or how packed with customers the store is; integrity and kindness and professionalism Never skips a beat! All options are always given and you are Never under- sold or over- charged. Even in a high customer traffic area with impatient, self- entitled patrons, these 2 business women Never let me down. We mailed my sister a ton of lotions, Starbucks gift cards and hobby lobby gift cards to help her decorate her house since my brother in law Just passed away. These people went through the box and "re boxed" it. Today on Christmas we found out that our family in Ohio never received anything in the box BUT 3 lotions that were unwrapped when the box was open!!!! We are livid! Terrible experience today at this UPS Store regarding printing shipping labels and confusion with the cost. My recommendation is to only use this establishment to drop off pre-paid boxes--otherwise, don't deal with the owner. Poor communication, nickel-and-diming you for everything, and inflated costs. This is why I will no longer come here: Library was closed today so I came here to print off my shipping labels. Sales associate tells me it's 50 cents per page--a lot more than other places (library is 20 cents last I checked), but no big deal. I go to work printing off my labels. When I finish and go to the store's printer, I see that instead of printing each page separately as it said it was on the computer, each page was printed DOUBLE-SIDED. Thus, half the pages I'd needed. I was a bit taken aback, but made do and said it's fine, I'll cut them in half and use each side as needed for my shipping label/inside-the-box information. Here is where I became very frustrated and decided I will never come to this UPS establishment again: the owner of the store (not the sales associate from before) informs me that she's going to charge me 50 cents per SIDE of the page. That's right--her computer/printer messed up, I agreed to cut my pages in half rather than ask for the correct labels, and she then tells me she is charging double what I was told beforehand? The main issue as well was her extreme rudeness in this matter--not an apology for her printer's issues, not an explanation beyond something that made no sense: "They charge me for each side." I honestly have no clue what that means--perhaps the ink used? Which is fine, I don't care about 50 cents; what I DO care about is customer service and not feeling like I'm being taken advantage of. I'd rather drive anywhere else to another UPS Store than give this owner business. read more

Wish I could leave negative stars! Sent 4 pieces of art to CA, 2 were very damaged! They packed them with saran wrap and placed all in a big box with popcorn. For the amount they charged for packing (almost $40), it should have been protected very well and not stacked on top of one another. When I called, said name Lee, didn't even apologize. All he kept saying was he did not do it...nice customer service, lol. Will never give my business to this UPS store again, and hope you choose wisely as well!! read more

Ghetto, and rude customer service! I waited for 15 mins just to drop off an already paid for box and there was only one other person ahead of me? The lady at the counter clearly doesn't understand the concepts of lines. Another customer causal walked in back to pick up her mail then cuts in line to retrieve a package. The lady at the counter glanced at me then helped that customer first? After they were done chit chatting she THEN helped me?! Also I don't think the AC was working properly in that store. I have tried going to this ups store a few times and o lay put of immediate need. Every time the woman working there has been extremely rude. Today was the last straw with going there ever again. A woman was in line in front of me and was returning an Amazon order. The woman behind the desk was telling her she has to go pack it she will not do it but English is not her forst la gauge so she is hard to understand and the woman kept saying what. She was older and I could barely understand the lady. Then the ups store owner operator shouted at the woman saying listen lady you need to go pack this or pay me to pack it. Another customer in the store told her to take it to kohl's and they will take care of it for her. Then was my turn. She was really rude again and just an awful person . Went in to this store when it first opened to see if I could do my postage there. The owner told me that while they are a UPS store he could offer me US postal rates. I attempted to send one 2lb package as media mail. I know that it should've cost around 3 dollars and the guy wanted to charge me 6. I can only deduce that those are UPS rates.
