So I regret having to do this, but I'm updating the positive review I left a few months ago. After being robbed of $100 from an organization I'm associated with, while attempting to make a $10 donation to them (that I let them keep), my bank concluded an investigation ruling against me, bc I didn't follow up w/ them in time. Bank gave me another chance today, stating I had to FAX OLD EMAILS to them, proving I meant to donate only $10. So I'm back at the UPS Store today, doing printing and faxing of 6 blk&wht pages from my phone. Guess how much that cost? $22.50!!!!!!! That's right, IT COST ME 22.5% of the amount stolen, to get my stolen $100 back! Giselle, might as well been wearing a ski mask when she rang me up. Btw, I literally did every step of this service I'm paying for myself. When Giselle rang me up and my jaw hit the floor as to how 30¢/page for printing 6 pages turned into $22.50, she shrugged and stated, "talk to my manager". I hate to sound like a Karen, but c'mon. The UPS Store 2nd issue at this store and will never do business here again and both times was with the female owner of the store, Heather Kroot. 1st time,12/07/21, was when I was sending my $6,500 camera to Nikon Professional Services for repair, I declined the shipping insurance because I did not want to pay the insurance of $150+ and just chose the $20 ground cost to CA for shipping, and also declined the 2 Day Air option, which is more expensive than ground, since ground would get to CA in 2 days, as she took the boxed camera from me, she handles it with both hands and drops it from stomach height to the floor, I was stunned and pissed, I told her, you don't handle packages Iike that, let alone knowing that is an expensive camera drop it to the ground and her response was, if you packaged it properly you will have nothing to worry about, besides it will get treated worst during transit. I told her that is terrible customer service. Today 02/04/22, I was returning an Amazon package order that arrived in 2 boxes, as I returned it they told me I needed 2 return labels, I said that Amazon only generated one label and asked if they could tape it together, they said yes for $10, I said are you serious, she said "my time" and the cost of tape is worth that, I said are you crazy. It is more about the principle than the cost and the lack of customer service, if she was a real UPS person and treated anyone they way I have experienced she would be fired, but she thinks just because she is the owner she can do what she wants, that is okay, I just filed a Corporate Complaint for her lack of customer service. read more

In response to the 'Business Owners' response to my review..... I have called and I have emailed multiple times with no response. I was also told by Izzy that the owners are Andrew and Heather and now every time I call I am told they are not available and asked to leave a message for call back. All I can say is WOW- trust and integrity? Really? I still have not received a call back from Andrew after leaving multiple messages....my package has not been returned to me as promised.... And I'm still out the $97.87 that I paid for overnight shipping. I will warn everyone that I know not to trust this store for any of the mailing needs. Pretty frightening that no one can even tell me where my package is! I mailed it out on September 18th! Again... all I can say is WOW! read more

Terrible customer service by girl named Lizzy. You can hear all the young employees playing in the back and eating and giggling and no one in the front. I had to yell for customer serive after waiting 15 minutes. Lizzy finally came up with a sour face and said you need something? Yes, I have been waiting and calling you for 15 minutes while you were playing in the back. so what do you need. I was holding a large box to be shipped. you stupid little girl. She slammed the box down and just had the worse attitude. She Hates her job and just need to be Fired! no customer skills at all. no professional courtesy. just go home and get high on your cbd's. Apparently Amazon wants all your returns prepackaged now, as opposed to bulk shipping returns as they had been doing for most returns. I always take in my return in the original packaging but leave it open as you never know. Today UPS charged me $2.16 to seal my box with one piece of tape. I'm not into this nickel and diming BS and will go the UPS store down the street with my packages taped from now on. Hope the $2 was worth losing my business. read more

During COVID, I've been very hesitant to go to retail stores at all, but unfortunately I had to go to this UPS for fingerprinting for a job. Upon arrival, I told the masked employee (I believe his name was James) I need fingerprints. So he took me over to the fingerprinting area, REMOVED HIS MASK, and grabbed my hand to take my fingerprints. I was visibly uncomfortable by the lack of social distancing and mask, but it didn't seem to phase him from working on my fingerprints on the computer right next to me. This went on for about 15 minutes, then he walked me back to the register to pay, and put his mask back on? ‍ So beyond frustrating and uncomfortable. I hope this store re-teaches and enforces COVID protocol to its employees, especially during fingerprinting, so we can all stay safe read more

Great service from this store. Just moved to Scottsdale from Orange County, and one of the first things you need (before relocating) is a PO Box. Should be simple, right? I called 2 or 3 other UPS stores in the area, but only the main guy at this store (Winston) understood that I didn't yet have an Arizona ID, etc., and got it done quickly and efficiently. He has a great attitude that sets the tone for the staff. I've been in the store 15 or so times since relocating - all the staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Luv my local UPS store! I am here often. Every employee here is always so professional, efficient, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Rarely found with many business services today, retail or otherwise, it is surprising to find a business like this operating with 100% of its staff who care about the customer and seem to enjoy performing their job to their very best ability. I actually can say that I somewhat look forward to going in, though being someone who does not normally enjoy shopping or errands. read more

There are few places I loathe more than the post office. I find it worse than the DMV for several reasons, the first of which being who has to go to the DMV anymore? I don't think I've been since I got my Arizona license and while it wasn't the most fun I've ever had, I feel like it's really getting an unfair reputation as the worst government establishment to ever exist, as that distinction clearly goes to the post office. Mailing packages is something I do much more often than going to the DMV and going to the post office (particularly my post office on 20th and Camelback) is enough to ruin your whole day. It's hot, everyone's rude, there's always a long line and it's hard to tell where it stops and starts because people are tying up their loose ends everywhere, nobody EVER has a pen (including the employees which you'd think would be kind of standard), and it's just a generally unpleasant experience all around. Oh, on top of that, my post office decided they were going to be the only establishment in the world with the operating hours of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure most of the general public works 8-5. Seriously, whose idea was that? I'm not sure why it took me this long to realize that, unlike issuing Driver's Licenses, OTHER companies can actually mail my packages for me. Private sector companies! Companies that compete with other companies! Companies with employees that actually seem to care about their job (or at least not getting fired from their job)! Companies WITH PENS!!! UPS is a good example of one of these companies and this particular UPS is my favorite. Their employees are very friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit, my package was just barely at the first class weight limit (going over would have doubled my shipping costs) and I wanted to add a card. The employee behind the counter made some small adjustments to my package (cut some cardboard here and there) to reduce the weight and save me some money, which I really appreciated. She even gave me a pen to fill out my card! I thought pens were unheard of in the shipping world and here's UPS throwing them around willy nilly. It was fantastic! Yes, they are slightly more expensive, and their packing services (Where they pack and label your packages for you. Yes, I've done it. Yes, I'm lazy.) can get really pricy, but for your average run-of-the-mill, not-too-heavy package, I'd say the slight cost increase is WELL WORTH avoiding the time and frustration that inevitably comes with a post office visit. I used to really like this store. There are two young ladies working here who know the business and are professional and efficient. I've shipped to California, Hawaii, and returned amazon purchases all without a problem. In fact, their customer service was so off the charts, I had to slap myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Then they hired some teenage guy who has no idea what he's doing. I asked for a flat rate box; he said they don't have any postal packaging. None? I ask; No he says. Told him I got one there last week; magically he pulls out a flat rate envelope. I have a bag full of things to mail--like an envelope will help kid. There is nothing I hate more when dealing with retail stores than flat out incompetence. It was enough to make me deal with the United States Postal Service, online at least. Now, I will only return to this place if I'm in an emergency, and only if one of the competent employees are working. Nothing is that important. Ladies saved this review from a single star. I can only hope they've moved on to greener pastures. read more

Had a lovely experience when working with this particular UPS store. Needed some last minute menus printed for a dinner party I was hosting. The chef had mentioned that he would provide printed menus for the soiree. When the day came, it was a detail that had been overlooked. It was something I really wanted, so I whipped up a document and ran to the store to have them printed. They came out great and I was received with friendly and welcoming staff. The detail was resolved quickly and efficiently and I was ready to have a lovely night. So happy to have a place nearby for unique needs. read more

My complaint is with the UPS service that I received when I shipped at this store. I spoke to a business in another state and they asked me to ship a package by FEDEX. I decided out of convenience to go to the UPS Store near my home. The staff was very nice and they said that UPS would guarantee to deliver the package the next day. I paid the rate because it was called NEXT DAY AIR and it was "GUARENTEED" to arrive in 24 hours. The package was not delivered in 24 hours. The staff was very apologetic but the result was that a package that was guaranteed to be delivered in 24 hours was delivered in 48 hours. They quickly processed a refund, but I would rather have had the package delivered on time. I learned my lesson. I will NEVER ship with UPS again. read more
