You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. SO FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!! NEVER USING THEM, EVER AGAIN!!!

When my son went outside to see if Nancy was still present, she was not. Nancy had left. Nancy didn't call, text or even blow smoke signals to advise that she was leaving, she just left. When I called her business to inquire as to what had happened, she had her people to lie and say that she was in a "meeting". How could you be in a meeting when we were scheduled to be in OUR meeting at the same time? The fingerprint meeting. I called and left several messages. I also sent several text messages to the line that she had called me from earlier. I never received a return reply. I was very upset as I was on a tight deadline to complete the fingerprints for my employer. THANK GOD that my employer was flexible, but man! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Nancy is unprofessional and a liar. Although, I've forgiven her, however, she is what she is and it's all done with a smile. To this day, she's never contacted me to resolve the issue or to apologize. Typically, I won't take time out to post a negative review but people need to know how unprofessional she is. One of the main reasons that I chose to post this review is because of the sensitivity of the situation. I'm in physical therapy right now for my leg. So, having her to come to me and being willing to pay an extra $250 for the mobile service on top of the regular fees was going to be a convenience that I needed at the time. The fingerprints were needed in order to retain the new position that I had accepted with my employer. My employment was attached to the fingerprints being completed. Thankfully, I was able to find a better service that cost less and that actually showed up when they were supposed to and not an entire hour early without consent like Nancy did. In conclusion, if you DO decide to patron her business, be sure to tell her from the very first moment that the scheduled time IS THE SCHEDULED TIME and do NOT SHOW UP EARLY as you WILL NOT be available. Because she'll schedule an appointment for one time but then call, text and leave messages trying to show up a whole day or so early. So, cut her off at the beginning and let her know that, the time is the time and to not try to avoid the scheduled appointment. Oh, because she did call me a day or two before the actual scheduled day asking to come over then. I advised her that I was not available and that I will need to keep my previously scheduled day and time. However, she STILL came over early on the scheduled day and caused an unfortunate situation. Do what you want, but please be aware of who and what you are dealing with. And if the prints that you need is for a job, I would ABSOLUTELY UNEQUIVOCALLY advise to not patron Nancy and her business as you could lose your job messing around with her messiness. The homeowner is upset that one room is essentially a fire hazard and the egress from that room is blocked. I paid $1460 to have my belongings placed in certain areas of the house, and that did not happen. June 2, 2024 After several phone calls to EE Ward in Grove City, my nephews and I agreed to a crew returning to the house to place the boxes in their respective places (bedroom, basement). My nephews and I cleaned the cat litter issues. While on the phone, my nephew explained that I am elderly and disabled, and he is recovering from lung cancer. The only thing I would say that was a negative was I had to call three weeks in advance to schedule. But that was fine since we had 30 days to close on our home. It's summer, I get it. But the movers who showed up were incredible. Our driver Jake made sure all our floors were covered with mats or cardboard so we didn't get scratches. This was great because our floors in Columbus were brand new! We tipped each guy $100 since they were so good. They wore masks which my wife appreciated as well.
