Me sister ordered loaded waffle fries. After a very long wait we finally received our food. The loaded fries were cold. My chicken sandwich was the saddest chicken sandwich I've ever seen or had. If I had 3 oz of chicken I'd be surprised. The tomatoes were small and cut at least a day ago. My mothers burger was over cooked and I didn't see mushrooms. The manager John was Told and although he did replace the loaded fries he did nothing about the sad chicken that should have been eaten by kitchen staff. We sat close to the door where the a/c was like being hit by a leaf blower.

She suggested all sorts of beers based on my taste and let me sample them all. One suggestion she had was to mix the Mango with the Blood Orange. It was really good. The two that I ended up drinking were the Duck River Dunkel and the ISB English Ale. I also liked that they had pretzels and popcorn as bar snacks. We met some really nice people and talked for a while. It reminded me of the old summer days when everyone would just sit and talk and enjoy life. Still a relatively new brewery, so still getting going with regard to their own specialty drafts, but they feature other local flavors, so there are good options. The brewery itself is pretty spacious. Love the area that has a couple love seats next to a fire place and a bunch of board games that are there to help pass the time. Pool table in the back of the brewery and three tv's all playing college football games. Prices are good, and they had a couple things we liked. The person at the bar had cooked game day treats and shared his smoked pork belly with us (so good!). These guys look to have a long successful run in this business with the quality customer service they provide. The beer was higher octane and served in a smaller portion. If the beer struck my palate, I would definitely remember the name. I didn't care for the taste at all. 3/5 I love IPA's from the brewery in Louisiana. I love their helles doppelbock too! It must be the swamp water used? We have tried a few beers from Yellowhammer. Their taste isn't what we prefer. It is great to have the brewery here in town so people who do like the brand can stop by and consume the beers. I will return again to try something else. Once seated, it took 20 minutes just to get a waiter to the table. Then another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We had already placed our food order along with the drinks out of desperation. By that point, we were an hour and 40 minutes in with nothing but the beers we bought ourselves outside while waiting. The restaurant was not packed. There is no excuse for this level of inattentiveness on a slow Wednesday night. A party of 8 shouldn't have to fight for basic service. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually wants your business.
