I wasn't originally going to check in, but because of what happened I felt that I needed to and…read moreleave a review. I usually stop by here a couple times a month to pick up a few craft brews as well as some low carb beer. I found a 4 pack from a NJ brewery and decided to try it. I picked up a couple more 4 packs of others as well. After paying I grabbed my stuff and headed to the car. I had one 4 pack nestled under my left arm and another perched on top of that. As I was walking away from the register I heard a metallic pop from one the 4 packs. I looked down and it looked like one just popped out of the retainer and I didn't think anything more about it. After just getting out the door, one of the cans literally exploded. This caused the 4 pack resting on top top topple to the ground. My other hand was full so I couldn't stop it. I stuck my foot out to help break the fall but it still hit the ground and one of those cans popped and started spraying beer as well. There was a woman coming in as I was leaving and she assisted me as I was now covered in beer and cans were rolling around the ground in front of me. I went ahead and put the undamaged items in my car and headed back in with the damaged items. The lady that assisted me had already went in and gave the cashier a heads up as to what happened because she saw everything. When I made it inside, another cashier, maybe the manager was very apologetic and called to the back and had someone bring me new replacements. I'm completely covered in beer. Technically,I guess he didn't have to replace the ones I dropped but he did anyway. The cashier that checked me out said she heard it explode from inside the store. The customer service is top notch. The store is on an easily accessible corner and is neat, clean and orderly. Well lit. As for the beer that exploded, I tried one of the non exploding versions and it was meh. I didn't hate it, but I have certainly had better. Also, if the woman that helped me in the parking lot sees this, thank you and DM me. I want to take you to dinner. I lost track of you in the fray.

Today, five days until Christmas. I was given a note to go pick up a some bottles of a particular…read morewine, put them in gift bags and get them to my wife by the end of business today. Walked into Passion Vines with only my phone to pay and the forementioned list. When I was finished, I had the 5 bottles of wine and the determination to go to CVS so I could wrap them. The wonderful sales staff not only wrapped them, gave me an extra bag for bottle wine I bought earlier and gave me a box to carry them to my car. I thought they went over and above.

Just purchased a case of prosecco and 24 pack of beer, over $200 spent. Upon check out I reminded…read morethe cashier that the 2 x 12 pack of Modelo has a case price which she confirmed. Charged my card and when I looked at my receipt I saw that the case price was not given. Then I questioned her, which she smirked as if this price difference is beneath her. I am not going to lecture anyone on how to spend their money but left me with a bad taste - the fact that I had to go back and ask for $4.15 difference. Either way, I work for my money and will not let unethical business or incompetent employee take advantage of me. The fact the she didn't even apologize but rolled her eyes is the reason for this review. Also disappointed because this local shop is a lot more expensive than the big chains, and I am a loyal customer who supports the small local business. Not cool at all.

This is by far the greatest liquor store i've ever been to. Clean, friendly, and always has the…read morenewest drinks in. David is awesome, he always helps me out and is so nice to me. I highly recommend you join their rewards program if you spend as much at the liquor store as I do. I miss this place so much as I have been out of town but I can't wait to go back so soon.

I thought how could a liquor store have good hoagies ? But she killed it. Paper thin everything from the meat to the veggies which is my favorite way of making a hero. In front of the deli counter is a beverage cooler with non alcoholic drinks and then I'm the front of the store it is a very clean, and well stocked liquor store. I took the case back and the cashier tried to argue with me that there was no "best by" date when it was clearly on the bottles and the box. He refunded part of my money and tried to say that because there was missing bottles that he would keep part of my payment. He eventually gave me a full refund after I argued with him. Not worth patronizing this place. I will never go there again!

I got to sample some Balic wines at a street fair a while ago and enjoyed it so much that I knew I…read morewould have to visit the winery at some point. My SO and I stopped at Balic while we were in the area and the winery is a bit small, but very nice. We were early, so we had time to chat with the owner for a while before people started showing up. We got to sample every wine and ended up leaving with a case for an extremely reasonable price. You cannot buy Balic in stores, but you may be lucky finding a restaurant that carries them exclusively. This is a must while travelling south, also, try the blackberry wine because it is exquisite.
